Hello y'all!

Today's day 2 of Royai week and the theme is "Serene''. This is light smut and lots of banter, I hope you'll like it!

Riza opened her eyes, only to close them the second after. The curtains were wide open and sunlight entered without restrain in her bedroom, landing right on her face.

"Oh god, why did I not think to close that yesterday?" She complained in her pillow, hiding from the unbearable light.

Turning away from the window, she tried to reach the side table where her alarm-clock was. It was almost 9:00am and she panicked for a second before remembering it was Saturday. Then she noticed her bare arm, bare shoulder, and naked chest. Her naked body. Agreable memories from the night before came back to her mind, and she settled back in the bedsheets. That had been a good night. A bit short, she smiled, but a good one nevertheless. And they could catch up on the lack of sleep during the day anyway.

Her smile widened when the smell of coffee and toasted bread reached her nose. He was perfect. He could seem lazy at work, but with her he was the most perfect man she could have. Gentle, caring and loving. And he knew her by heart, her faults, her imperfections, her doubts, and he loved her anyway.

After all that had happened to them, they could finally enjoy each other without worry, and she was glad of that. Sometimes she felt like she didn't deserve that happy and serene life, but Roy's help and the support of her therapist had been the best to get her rid of the constant guilt she'd felt the first months after their trial and the sentence that had made them both civilians.

The sun was warm on her back, and she gradually shifted back into sleep. Footsteps woke her again, and she stirred when the bed caved in under his weight. "Good morning, dearest woman in the world," he whispered to her ear, moving away a strand of hair. She sighed in contentment when his hand brushed her shoulder and her arm, sending exquisite waves in her body. "I've walked Hayate, he's back on his pillow. Oh, breakfast's ready by the way."

"Roy…" She turned to face him. He was blocking the light, protecting her from the brightness. He'd put on a T-shirt and shorts, but the sight of him and his broad frame awoke something in her. She rose on her arm and kissed him. He replied eagerly and his hand found its way to the small of her back. He tasted like butter and coffee, and Riza smiled. "You haven't waited for me to eat," she said when they parted.

Roy gave her a cocky grin. "Do you want breakfast now? Or another kind of breakfast?" He winked at her, and his hand slid to her left buttock, groping it lightly. Riza gasped at his contact and locked her eyes on his.

"Isn't that what you want?" She teased him. Riza rose on her knees, and the sheet fell completely, uncovering her. "And if you want to eat another breakfast, you better get rid of what you're wearing. I prefer what's under it."

"The bed?" Roy joked.

"That'll be for later, we haven't slept so much last night," Riza replied. She took the hem of his shirt and lifted it to his chest. Then she bent and laid a trail of kisses from his stomach to his nipples. She helped him to get rid of the piece of cloth and resumed her kissing, on his shoulder, neck, jawline, temple and finally lips. She'd felt him shudder under her lips and he welcomed most eagerly her final kiss, opening his mouth to catch hers. His hands roamed from her hair to her thighs, where the pooling sensation increased as Roy did a wonderful job of his hands and lips. She reached into his shorts to find him hard and ready.

They were soon entangled in the bedsheets, kissing, moaning and quivering as heat burned them. Riza felt so good, lost in Roy's embrace, feeling him around her, in her. It was a sensation she could never get rid of or forget. And she often wondered how she'd spent so many years without it.

Some time later that morning, after a nap and another love-making session, Riza laid against him, placing soft kisses on his chest. She was at peace, and Roy's smile told her he was the same. This was the serenity she'd craved for for so long, and she could have it now. She smiled back at Roy when she looked at him. He placed a strand of her hair behind her ear and kissed her nose.

"I love you, Riza," he whispered and his eyes shone brighter.

"I love you, Roy." Her grumbling stomach stopped her next words, and she couldn't help but giggle.

"Seems like you need that breakfast at last!" Roy eyed the clock. "Well at this hour I think we can prepare lunch. What does my queen want to eat?"

"Something you won't have burnt before," she bantered.

Roy kissed her and got out of the bed, holding out a hand for her to take. "Mean woman," he said with a smile.

"You love this, don't you?" Riza replied, winking, and took his hand. He pulled her and she was back against his chest. She felt him awakening, and smiled. "I think we better have that lunch before we fall again on that bed."

"Why couldn't we do both?" He asked. "There are other places in this house that can fit what I intend to do with you anyway."

Riza slapped his buttock, enjoying the firm muscles under her hand. "We must eat, sir. I don't want us to starve only because we love each other too much. What would people say about the last Fuhrer of Amestris if he's found dead from hunger?"

Eventually they found a compromise. They prepared some curry, and while it cooked gently in the pot, Riza and Roy spent another sweet moment on the couch. They managed to remember the meal on time and could eat the curry with rice. They sat on the carpet covering the floor of the living room and leaned on the other, enjoying a warm dish with the warm presence of their significant other. Riza sighed with contentment. She was happy, serene, whole. When Black Hayate leaned against her thigh it made the moment perfect.
