A fox with scarlet fur and a obose brown bear dressed in green were walking through a dense forest without a care in the world. They stopped by a pond, bowed to each other and jumped in. They were enjoying their swim unaware that they were being surrounded. An obose gray wolf dressed in a sheriff's uniform ordered his posse to be on standby. Among the archers were Archer Heartless and Blade Heartless. The fox and bear appeared to have surrendered but they made a quick escape. They avoided the arrows shot at them as the sheriff yelled at his henchmen to catch him. Meanwhile Sora and the others had just arrived in the location when they heard a shout.

"Hey you there! You better run!"

"Sheriff's posse is heading your way!"

The fox and the bear ran past them. They noticed the Heartless running towards them. They immediately armed themselves with their respective weapons and defeated the enemies in a flash.

"That was amazing." the fox applauded the group "I have to thank you for dealing with those strange fellows."

"We're just glad you two are okay."

"Did you see any more Heartless?" Sora asked

"Heartless? That's what you called those things?" the bear asked "We've only see them recently."

Goofy put his hand to his ear "Hey, someone's coming."

"Quick, follow us!"The fox told them as he and his friend were in the middle of being chased by the sheriff's henchmen

The fox and bear led them up a tree thus successfully avoiding the sheriff's posse. The archers paused to search the area; once they decided that their targets had disappeared, they left.

"Looks like we're okay for now." the fox said and cleared his throat "Allow me to introduce ourselves. I'm Robin Hood. And this is my associate and partner Little John."

Little John tipped his hat "Nice to meet ya."

"I'm Sora."

"I'm Riku."

"I'm Kairi."

"And I'm Donald."

"Pleased to you both, I'm Goofy."

"Well then my friends, welcome to Sherwood Forest and Nottingham." Robin responded with arms opened wide "Though it's not the best time for sightseeing."

"Why's that?"

"It''s because of Prince John." Little John explained "Ever since his big brother King Richard left, he's been taxing all the money out of everyone. Especially the poor. Folks are finding it hard to feed and take care of themselves."

"That's horrible."

"It is. That's where we come in. We use our skills to retrieve what the rich has and give back to the poor."

"You two are thieves aren't you?" Riku replied bluntly

"Now that he mentioned it Robin, I've been wondering." Little John used a stray arrow he picked up to scratch his back "Are we good guys or bad guys? You know, us robbing the rich to give to the poor."

"Rob?" Robin shook his head as he clicked his tongue "Why that's a naughty word. We never rob. We just sorta borrow from those who can afford it."

"Borrow? Huh. Boy, are we in debt."

"I have an idea." Robin spoke to Sora "You know how to handle those creatures called Heartless. How about we work together?"

Sora was unsure about this proposition. He would always be eager to help others but this time was different. "So you want us to fight Heartless so you can rob-"

"Borrow my good boy" Robin interrupted Sora

"Borrow money to give to the poor?"

Robin nodded in reply. Once they got down from the tree, Sora and the group huddled up to discuss what they will do from here.

"I don't like this." Donald spoke up "They have their reasons but they're still thieves."

"But the real villain is that Prince John." said Kairi as she hated the fact that the prince was abusing his power.

"There are Heartless running around and they know their way around here." Goofy knew that they could use guides to show them around.

"You're right. What do you think Sora?" Riku asked his friend who was busy thinking it over

"You sure about this Rob?" Little John inquired to his friend with concern as they watched the group "We hardly know them and we're getting involved in our business."

"You worry too much old boy." Robin replied "They seem nice and they have the skills to deal with those creatures."

The quintet broke from their huddle coming to an agreement. Sora walked up to Robin Hood to give his reply "Okay. We'll help you. We won't 'borrow' but we can take care of the Heartless."

"Excellent! It's a deal."

Robin extended his paw to Sora who shook in reply confirming that they were partners. Suddenly, the sounds of horns blasting through the air caught everyone's attention.

"What's that?"

"Sounds like the usual tax collection for the poor." Robin rubbed his paws as he was getting excited for another heist.
