Ever since that fateful night, El Kabong had gotten better mentally now that he was dating his beloved Louise. He was one of the most attractive bachelors in Jellystone and lives off of Canalioni but now he doesn't eat it anymore since he found his love Bobbie Louie.
It was the town festival and a big event was happening in the center of town. There was a parade being held in the streets. Bobbie Louie and El Kabong held hands as they watched the parade.
Remember when I said El Kabong was a bachelor? well soon he won't be. Because he had a very important question to ask Bobbie Louie. He wanted to ask her if she wanted to be his wife. And what better place to pop the question then at the biggest annual event in Jellystone.
After the parade, a dance party was held and there was a DJ playing music for everyone to dance to. Since El Kabong was a good dancer, he was able to sweep Bobbie Louie off her feet, literally and figuratively. Jabberjaw and Loopy watched from a distance.
"I wish that were me," Jabberjaw said.
"I wish that was me too," Loopy said.
"What?" Jabberjaw said, turning to Loopy.
"What?" Loopy said.
A spotlight focuses on the couple dancing. The crowd was amazed at El Kabong's tango. They even cheered when he twirled Bobbie Louie. Everyone took out their phones to record and take photos.
"I am so jealous of Louie," Squiddly said while taking photos.
"Who knew my teacher could dance?" Augie told her dad.
Before the spotlights, El Kabong begins to wave his hands around, as if asking everyone to hold on.
"What are we waiting for?" Huckleberry asked on the mic. El Kabong then kneels down. Everyone gasped,
"Now I wish that were me!" Jabberjaw cried. Loopy hands her a tissue.
"Now I'm suuuper jealous, '' Squiddly said, now rapidly taking photos.
"I knew something was going on between those two!" Yakky said.
Bobbie Louie began to tear up. This was happening, El Kabong was proposing to her, it had only been 2 months since they started dating but was she really ready for this?
Bobbie Louie turns away, the crowd is in shock and so is El Kabong. He puts his head down in defeat.
Suddenly, she begins to dig into purse and pulls out….another ring. Everyone gasps again.
"What a twist!" Huckleberry said.
"I was… gonna ask you first" Bobbie Louie said. "I didn't know if you were ready. But I am. I wanna be with you forever….Quick Draw"
The two hugged each other. Everyone cheers as they kiss. They pull apart.
"I love you Quick Draw" Bobbie Louie said.
"I love you too Louise, my delicate flower" El Kabong said.
"Well that was certainly a great way to end this festival" Huckleberry said. "Let's hear one more time for the newly engaged couple!"
Everyone cheered again. 4 people approached the couple as everyone headed to their houses.
"Hey Kabong," Yogi said. "You better save some cake for me"
"There's no need," El Kabong said. "Because I was planning on inviting you anyways"
"Louie, we need to take you to find a perfect dress for the wedding" Squiddly said. "You gotta look sooo good for your big day"
"We can do that tomorrow," Bobbie Louie said. "Kabong and I need our rest"
"Congrats" Loopy simply said. Jabberjaw was still crying.
"I'm not crying because I'm jealous, I swear" Jabberjaw cried. Loopy escorts her away and everyone one else leaves as well.
At home, Bobbie Louie and El Kabong were getting ready for bed. The two couldn't stop looking at the ring on their finger. None of them were expecting a marriage proposal, nor were they expecting to propose at the same time. But they were glad it happened.
The two get into bed.
"I am so happy," Bobbie Louie said.
"As am I," El Kabong said. "You look as beautiful as always my delicate flower"
"Well you're as handsome as ever, McGraw," Bobbie Louie said. El Kabong kissed her forehead.
"You'll make a beautiful wife," El Kabong said.
"And you'll make a great malewife, '' Bobbie Louie jokes. They both laughed.
"I love you Quick Draw" Bobbie Louie said.
"I love you too Louise," El Kabong said. Then they cuddled each other before turning off the lights.
No matter how much they changed and no matter what the years do to them, the fastest gun in the west and his trusty sidekick would be together. always.
