It was 3 years later, Kya was 3, and Bumi was now 11. It was nearly 3 months ago, Katara discovered, Kya was a water bender.
It all started when Kya came with Katara to drop Bumi off at the ferry docks. "Bumi, where you go?!" Kya shouts, asking in sadness. "I have to go to school, it's my first day." Says Bumi. "Why you leave, me?" Asks Kya. "To learn." Bumi says. "Take me with you." Kya says. "Sorry, little sister but I can't." Bumi says. "You take me with now, I demand, you not goin any where!" Kya says as she waves her arms and hands up and down in sadness, anger and frustration. That was when Katara had noticed the waves by the docks strangely getting stronger they wash up on to the docks, soaking Bumi and then once as Kya stomps her foot the ferry has waves of ice against it and Bumi then got stuck in the ice from his feet to his elbows. Katara bends over putting her hand on Kya's shoulder. "Kya calm down, look what you did." Katara says. Kya opens her eyes. "I did this?" Asks Kya. "Yes." Says Katara. "Are you mad?" Asks Kya. "Well I'm just not too happy you froze your brother and the ferry, but I'm happy because you are a water bender just like me." Says Katara. Kya turns around and smiles.
Katara undid Kya's mess and Bumi when to school and told his teacher why he was late. Katara had told Aang and friends and family about Kya.
Now back to 3 months later.
