How To Soothe A Crying Baby

Angelina was trying her best not to snap.

Babies cried a lot and she had to deal with it. But little Fred II was sounding like a siren down the hallway. Her eardrums were going to pop if she didn't do something. And George couldn't do anything, he was working late at the shop.

She went off down the hallway towards her baby son's room, only to get a surprise.

He wasn't crying anymore.

George was standing there, rocking the baby and crooning a lullaby that Angelina didn't recognize.

Before long, little Fred II was asleep, nestled in George's arms. George tickled him and the baby giggled in his sleep. George let out a soft chuckle in turn. He put the baby back in the crib, but not before whispering, "I love you." and giving him a kiss on the head.

Angelina smiled at the sight and went back to bed.

The next morning, she woke up to George still lying asleep next to her.

She noticed something odd though. When she had seen him soothing the baby, he had been wearing blue pyjamas. But now his pyjamas were green.

"Why did you change pyjamas?" she asked, confused.

"What do you mean?" he said.

"Last night. When I saw you in baby Fred's room. Your pyjamas were blue."

"What are you talking about, Ange? I wasn't anywhere near or in his room last night." he said.

It was then Angelina remembered.

When she'd seen 'George' in the baby's room las night, he'd had both ears…
