Prologue
"LEADER"
All four of the quadruplets shot up in a panic
"Same dream..." they chorused, it had been going on for a few nights, they'd each have a dream of a fight that they know they are destined to lose
"Why does it keep happening!" Ren groaned "we're not getting any clues!"
"Maybe a quirk is affecting us..." Yu suggested
"But why?" Minato asked, no one had an answer
"Maybe they have an answer." Minako pointed to the other side of the room, there were three individuals. The first had bright blue eyes and was wearing black and white striped pajamas, he seemed to be a child, another had a brown pixie cut and a messenger bag, she seemed to be a teenager, the last was a small girl with long blond hair, wearing mainly blue
"Who are you?" Ren questioned
"I guess you could say we are part of your quirks." the small girl said
"We have the same quirks?" Minato inquired
"It may seem different on the surface but in truth its all the same." the boy explained
"But there are only three of you, And four of us." Yu pointed out
"Minato and Minako have identical quirks." the teenager stated "they'll share Pharos here." the teenager pointed to the small boy
"I'm not an object to be shared Marie…" the newly dubbed 'Pharos' told 'Marie' who just rolled her eyes
"Does this mean that we're unlocking our quirks soon?" Ren asked "or are you three our quirks?"
"We could be considered both" the small girl answered "but it seems we haven't properly introduced ourselves, I am Lavenza, Ren's guide."
"My name is Pharos, though I might change it, I will guide Minato and Minako."
"I'm Marie, guide of Yu."
"A guide to what?" Minato questioned
"To everything I assume." Lavenza stated
"we were never really told what to do." Pharos says with a shrug
"So how do you work?" Minako asked, "you guide us but that doesn't really make sense."
"We're not your personal servants." Marie informed "think of us as friends that no one can see or hear, that happen to have endless knowledge on the universe and decided to cryptically share some with you."
"You can technically summon us, but at the end of the day its our choice to come to you." Pharos added calmly
"Can you interact with stuff?" Ren inquired "like if you picked something up, everyone would just see a floating object?"
"That should be what happens." Lavenza nodded, Ren got a mischievous look on his face
"No." Minato quickly shut down Ren's idea "we're telling mom and dad."
"In the morning..." Yu said tiredly
"Will you be there when we wake up?" Minako asked the guides
"Only if you want us to be." Pharos answered, the four nodded and went back to bed
"MOM!" the quadruplets yielded, startling their mother
"Yes?"
"We have a quirk now!" Ren exclaimed excitedly
"We have some sort of spirit guide quirk!" Minako informed her mother enthusiastically "they're like ghosts that can interact with the real world and have knowledge on everything."
"Are you sure that they are your quirks?"
"Of course." Minato nodded "that's what the three of them said."
"Three?"
"There is Pharos, he's Minato and Minako's guide, there's Marie who is my guide and Lavenza who is Ren's guide." Yu explained
"Uh-huh..." their mother said skeptically "are you sure it's not an imaginary friend?"
"She most likely won't believe you no matter what we do." Lavenza said "chances are she thinks you have a telepathy quirk."
"Maybe." Yu pretended to admit
"I know you're excited to get your quirks but you have to be patient!" their mother smiled "how about you all go get ready for school." the siblings nodded and did as they were told
"I wonder if Izuku-chan will be there today…" Minako says worried as the siblings get ready
"Bakugou did hit him really hard…" Minato says with a deadpan, though you could still feel the worry
"I don't know why you won't let me teach him a lesson." Ren says looking at Yu who shakes his head
"You would end up like Midoriya if you fought him, you know this Ren." Yu says with a sigh
"I can take him!" Ren exclaimed
"Not until we actually get our quirks." Yu shot back "I hate him as much as you do but he's strong." he says with a sigh
"I'm going to beat that blasty boy up as soon as I get my quirk!" Ren exclaims proudly "he won't hurt anyone else!"
"He'll learn." Minato said "eventually."
"Well he needs to learn faster..." Minako huffed
"Who is this, Bakugou you speak poorly of?" Lavenza asks curiously
"A boy who hates everyone but himself, he thinks he's the best." Yu says with a frown
"Hmm, would he like to be thrown head first into a dumpster..?" Pharos mumbles to himself
"He'll explode the dumpster." Ren sighed "but not a bad idea..." everyone looked to Marie
"Why me?" Marie groaned
"You're the only one big enough to carry him." Minato shrugged
"Well uh-" Marie thought for a way to get out of it "stupidjerkchildren-"
"That may actually be a horrible idea." Lavenza said "this Bakugou would probably use his quirk."
"You're right." Yu agreed "Marie would get hurt." Minako and Ren immediately deflated
"We'll get an opportunity one day." Minato looked at his sibling "now just isn't the right time."
"When will the right time be, Mina?" Minako asked
"That's for none of us to know and hopefully find out" Minato says with a huff "now come on, we're going to be late."
When they arrive at the kindergarten, waiting at the front door is Bakugou Katsuki himself, glaring at anyone and everyone who passed by, he's probably waiting for Izuku…
Yu sighs "remember, don't make eye contact, don't fall for his taunts, if he attacks, run." He says as if this is a daily routine
"We know, we know alright." Ren says rolling his eyes "why do you keep telling us this?"
"Because, last time I forgot to mention this, someone tryed to prank the explosive pomeranian." Yu sighs pinching the bridge of his nose
Ren looks away with a pout "...he had it coming to him…" he says in a pouty huff
"Uh, what is Pharos doing..?" Minako says pointing in the direction of Bakugou, the other three look to where she is pointing, Pharos is tieing Bakugou's shoe laces together while the boy yells about how great he is…
"Your guide is amazing!" Ren exclaimed
"Your guide is reckless..." Yu shook his head
"No one can see him." Minako pointed out "he'll be fine."
Just as Minako finishes her statement, Bakugou sees Izuku and goes to bully him, but thanks to Pharos, he trips on his tied shoelaces and lands flat on his face, all the other kids look at Bakugou, trying not to laugh "Mission accomplished." Pharos says walking over the the group
"Pharos is definitely best guide." Minato says with the usual deadpan
Then as they're all about to argue, the teacher blows a whistle "come on kids! It's class time!" She says with a smile
"Oooh- I hope it's music history today!" Minako says crossing her fingers
Lavenza chuckles quietly as the siblings go into their class "some things never change." She says to nobody in particular while following them
Bonus Spooky Month Scene!
It was late at night when young Bakugou woke up with a gasp, startled by a loud bang in his dark room, the only light is that of the full moon… "the fuck..?" He says looking around anxiously, hoping it was just an All Might figure falling off a shelf, but with the strange happenings at school, he was scared, (though he would never admit it) he gets up and attempts to turn on his lamp, only to find it wouldn't work, he grumbles angrily as he gets up to go find a flashlight in the closet, as he approached the slightly open door to his closet and goes to open it, only for what sounded like another child crying… "who- whos there!" He says looking around again "I-I'll fucking kill you!" His quirk provided a small amount of light as he carefully tries to find the source of the crying, coming to his mirror with All Might stickers all over it, his own reflection can be seen thanks to what little light the moon reflects, he glances around, nothing to be seen, he calms a bit and decides to go back to bed, only for a laugh to draw him towards the mirror again, there standing where his reflection should be, was a skinny pale boy with eerie glowing blue eyes wearing pajamas that resembles those old timey prisoner uniforms in a few comics he read once… "...please… help me…" the creepy boy says as his eyes seem to bleed black ooze, highlighting the blue eyes, Bakugou is freaking out "w-who- what- what the shit are you!?" He says holding his hands up as his quirk goes off, making small crackling sounds. The boy laughs again, though more distorted "who… am I? What… am I?" He starts laughing more and more, his voice growing more and more distorted "...I am, death." He says before exploding into black ooze, throwing Bakugou back up against a wall, looking back to the mirror with pure fear on his face, shivering as the temperature seems to drop drastically, the little boy with blue eyes is gone… and in his place, a behemoth of a demonic entity, welding a katana with a serrated edge that shined in the now sickly green moonlight, and a helmet that seemed to replace it's face, and a floating chain with coffins attached, kinking and clanking together, "I AM DEATH, AND I COME FOR ALL, AND SOON, I WILL COME FOR YOU!" it yells in a heavily distorted voice before roaring so loud the window strain to keep together, Bakugou screams in pure fear, for he was staring at death itself.
