LEX LUTHOR STOPS THE INTERNET!
"What the-?" Lois' newly lacquered nails immediately lifted orbit from her keyboard, as she reeled back in shock. The computer she was using to write her story had just stopped in a spectacular fashion, and taking an hour's work with it.
On the screen was just a super-imposed image of a green skull. She didn't recognise it.
"Great." She muttered. "New supervillain. And they couldn't wait five minutes for me to finish up." She reminded herself to save more often. Oh well. Probably a cloud back-up.
She put a slim finger to her chin, a sly moment occurring to her. "Although there's no way to tell, is there? Who do we know that's good at computers, Lois Lane?"
Not Metallo, that was for certain. And a quick check confirmed that he was still held securely on Stryker Island. Perhaps it was one of his minions, or some other connection, but she'd have to follow up that theory later. She was sure the cops would do a good bit of the legwork before she got there anyway, she always dropped a tip to Renee when she felt she was onto something big. Wash my back, etc, the old proverb.
