Awesome Ten-Tails here with another new Story, sorry for it being shorter than my usual story, but I going to try to make this story more a slow burn, which is going to be difficult, I usually try to get through things quick.

I do not own RWBY or Naruto, they are owned by Rooster Teeth and Masashi Kishimoto respectively.

Is anyone else pissed that they're trying to get us to sympathize with Cinder?

Enjoy.

We see a boat heading towards a massive island that's known to have perpetually black clouds around it. Standing on the bow of the boat is a girl, she's 15 and 5'2, has black neck-length choppy hair that is also dark red at the tips, and silver eyes, she's wearing a black long-sleeved dress with red trim on the sleeves, a black waist cincher with red lacing up the front her skirt also has red trim, along with a thick pair of black stockings and black combat boots with red laces and topping it all off is a red hooded cloak. (Beacon's gone, my team is scattered, same with Jaune's team, except Pyrrha, she and Penny are dead. But why, why do I keep getting the feeling I could've stopped all of it, it couldn't have, could it?) She thinks.

"Remnant's full of legends and stories. Some of them true, some made up. But there's one Oz told me from a very long time ago. Back before Huntsmen, before Kingdoms, it was said that those born with silver eyes were destined to lead the life of a warrior. You see, the Creatures of Grimm, the most fearsome monsters mankind had ever encountered, were afraid of those silver-eyed warriors. They were the best of the best. It was said that even a single look from one of these fighters could strike a Grimm down." She remembers what her Uncle told her.

(If I knew about my eyes sooner, could I, could I have at least saved Pyrrha?) She thinks sadly. *Sigh* "No use crying over spilled milk, but if you're listening Pyrrha, I promise that I'll get stronger, to prevent anything like that from happening again." She says, with determination in her eyes.

"Hey young'un, we'll be makin landfall in 10 minutes." Yells the man behind the wheel, he's tan, 76 and 9'5 and broad chested, he has short gray hair, beard and black eyes, with a scar beside his left eye, he's wearing a red tropical shirt, light colored shorts, and sandals.

"Thank you, for bringing me over here, I know you probably think I'm crazy for wanting to come here." She says.

"It's fine Missy, I'm used to ferrying people here, by the way what's your name?" He asks, as they stop on a small dock.

"Ruby Rose, and you?" She asks back.

"Garp, Young'un." He says, as she gets off the boat. "I hope you find whatever you're looking for, I don't ferry your type very often." He says.

"What do you mean by my type?" Ruby asks.

"People with silver eyes, that eye color is extremely rare, any time I've ferried one with those eyes, I've felt some sense of purpose from them, and you're the same." Garp Explains.

"So you've ferried others with silver eyes?" She asks.

"Yep, over the 46 years I've been doing this, including you, I've ferried 15 with silver eyes." He says, with a wide grin, and backs the boat away from the island.

*Sigh* (Well, I'm here, now how to get stronger?) Ruby thinks, walking towards a forest, getting a weird feeling, she grabs her weapon and unfurls it from its compact form, into its scythe form. As out of the forest rushes a giant humanoid Grimm, with one large, red eye, and white bone plate around its head like a helmet. Ruby seemingly bursts into a clump of red rose petals, and rushes around it up to it's neck and slices at it, to no effect the scythe just hits the skin and stops. "What?" She says, before essentially getting head-butted by the one eyed Grimm, and knocked back down to the ground, as it's looking down at her, she freaks out and shifts her weapon again but into a rifle form and points it at the eye, letting loose a shot, which actually does something. It roars in pain, and she starts running away. (Why didn't Crescent Rose cut that Grimm, it's never had problems before.) She thinks, but stops running seeing a group of that one eyed Grimm, which start rushing towards her. She runs into the forest, and the Grimm follows her. After an hour of running, she accidentally runs into a small cave, with this weird pool of white fluid in it. "No!" She screams, looking for a way out, when she notices that the Grimm aren't coming into the cave, in fact they're looking between her and the white pool. (I'm glad, but why did they stop, is it because of this liquid, what is it anyways?) She thinks, using a finger to touch the liquid, she feels power almost thrum around her, when she touches it. "What was that?!" She gasps, and sits down beside the pool.

We see a comfortable looking two story house. "What do you mean she's gone?!" Screams two people the loudest is a girl, who's 17, 5'8, has long golden blonde hair and lilac-colored eyes, and half her right arm is missing, she's wearing a gray jacket over an orange tank top that bares her hips, the jacket is tied at the right sleeve, gray-brown cargo pants, and white sneakers. The others a guy he's 17, 6'1, has short, messy, dark blonde hair and dark blue eyes he is wearing a black short-sleeved hoodie with the picture of a bunny on it along with detached reddish-orange sleeves, covering his hoodie is a white diamond-shaped chestplate and white spaulders topped off with blue-jeans and black sneakers.

*Sigh* "It's just like I said, Ruby's gone." Says a man he's 38, 6'2, has faded blonde hair and blue eyes, along with a soul patch and stubble along his jawline, and a tattoo that resembles a heart. He's wearing brown cargo shorts with a dark brown belt, black shoes, a red bandana on his left arm and a brown leather vest over a tan dress shirt with the right sleeve cut off, with a metal spaulder, leather vambrace and a brown fingerless glove all on his right arm.

"Where'd she go?!" The girl asks.

"I don't know Yang." The man says.

"How long has she been gone, Mr. Xiao-Long?" The younger man asks.

"Just call me Tai, Jaune, and as for your question, a week." Tai says.

"A week, how can you be so calm?!" Yang and Jaune yell.

"Because Qrow is on it." Tai says.

*Sigh* "I'll go inform Ren and Nora." Jaune says, leaving.

(That boy has it bad.) Tai thinks, chuckling.

"What are you chuckling about, Dad?" Yang asks.

"Nothing you need to worry about right now sweetie." He responds.

It's been a week and we see a very tired Ruby sitting at the back of the cave. She looks up seeing a flash of white light, and all the one eyed Grimm evaporate, and she sees a silhouette as her vision starts to wane. "Are you alright?" Asks a male voice, and she passes out. She next wakes up to the crackling of a campfire.

"Where am I?" Ruby mutters, sitting up.

"You're at my camp, I brought you here after you passed out in that cave, and no, you're still on the island." The same voice says, she looks over to see a Fox Faunus, he looks 15, 5'4, he has fair skin, blonde spiky hair, fox-like whisker marks, a long yellow fox tail and ...Silver Eyes. He's wearing a dark amber, long-sleeve T-shirt, navy blue jeans, amber and navy sneakers, a long, sapphire blue scarf, and silver earrings (looks like Potara Earrings).

"You …have silver eyes." Ruby says, surprised and imitating her first meeting with Ozpin.

"So do you lady." The Faunus says, good-naturedly. "By the way, the names Naruto Uzumaki." He says with a foxy grin.

"Oh, uhm, Ruby Rose." She says, slightly blushing.

"Ruby huh, pretty name, here, you're probably starving." Naruto says, making her blush more, and hands her some cooked fish on sticks and a wooden bowl of soup with some assorted vegetables and mushrooms, and a cup of water. Which she takes happily. "You're pretty lucky to have found, one of the Pool of Light caves." He says.

"One of the what caves?" Ruby asks.

"Pool of Light, the white pool of liquid in the cave, you were holed up in." He says.

"Oh, what is that liquid?" She asks.

"No one really knows, but I believe that they are the opposite of Grimm Pools." He says, grabbing a couple sticks of fish himself. "And if you're wondering, no, this island is the only place on the planet that Pools of light exist." He says.

"Why?" She asks.

"It's possible they have a hand in why the Grimm that only live on this island, only exist on this island." He says, and they fall into silence and eat.

"How long was I asleep?" Ruby asks, staring at the campfire.

"Two days." Naruto says.

*Sigh* "Why am I so weak?" She whispers.

"How long were you in the cave?" He asks.

"I don't know, a week maybe." She mutters.

"Well, that doesn't sound weak to me, I believe most would've given up immediately in your situation, yet you survived seven days without food, water, or sleep. Now when you've had your fill, rest some more, I doubt there are many Huntsman or Huntresses that could have pulled what you did." He says, kindly, and after another hour, Ruby is asleep again. He gets up to go gather more food, and collect more water, he grabs a Katana but strangely it's made of pitch black wood, after a couple hours, he's carrying a large basket of fish, and a small crate sized tub of water, when he hears growling, he throws both to the side without spilling anything, and jumps up dodging a very large three-headed canine like Grimm, with a bone plate like mask on each head, and thick bone plates down it's back. He lands behind the Grimm, and points his hand at it, palm facing it, which glows white and a camera flash of pure light blasts off, obliterating the Grimm.

"How did you do that?" Ruby asks, rubbing her eyes.

"What are you doing up?" Naruto asks, picking up the tub and basket.

"I heard rustling, and followed it, and saw you take out that Grimm, but how'd you do that flash thing?" She asks.

"That's not really smart." He says, as they walk back to the camp.

"What's not smart?" She asks.

"Following a noise on this island, especially at night, the island is known for its extremely dangerous Grimm, and your weapon can't damage Grimm here yet, and you don't know how to use your eyes, like I do. This is the answer to your question that was the power of silver eyes." He says.

"How do you know, I don't know how to use my eyes, and what do you mean my weapon can't damage the Grimm yet?" She asks.

"If you knew how to use your eyes, you wouldn't have been stuck in that cave. And about your weapon, it needs to be dipped and left in a Pool of Light for three days." He says, setting the tub and basket down in the camp.

"How do you know so much about this Island, when you're the same age as me?" She asks, laying down on the makeshift bed, which she notices is the only one in the camp. "Where have you been sleeping?" She asks as well.

"Against the tree on the other side of the clearing, so I wouldn't freak you out to much, if you woke up while I was asleep. As for why I know so much about the island, I've been stuck on this island for 11 years, now rest." He says, starting to gut and descale all of the fish.

"You've been here since you were 4?!" Ruby asks, shocked.

"Rest, we can talk, when you next wake up." He says, and the next time Ruby wakes up the suns up, and she smells fish and the same soup from the last time she woke up.

"How long was I asleep this time?" Ruby asks, rubbing her eyes tiredly and yawning.

"Just through the night." Naruto says, handing her a couple sticks of fish and a cup of water.

"Thanks, so, uhm, why are you being so nice and helpful to me?" She asks.

"It's what people like us do, people with silver eyes I mean, we protect life and help when we can, at least that's what my mom and dad told me, and both of them had silver eyes." He says.

"Both of your parents had silver eyes, I got my eyes from my mom, and I've only recently learned about the powers that come with them." She says eating one of the fish.

"Why didn't she tell you about them sooner?" He asks, but sees her get very downcast.

"She died when I was 2." She says sadly.

"Oh, sorry for bringing it up." He says.

"It's alright, you didn't know, now, you've been here since you were 4." She says, asking about what he said the night before.

"Yeah, my parents were always on the move, even after I was born. 11 years ago we were on a travel boat, and my parents were attacked, the assaulter also blew the boat up. Mom was caught in the explosion, but she survived long enough to get me and a bunch of notes on our silver eyes to a large scrap of the boat, and used her Semblance to make it drift away from the wreckage, she didn't know she pushed me in the direction of this island." He says, as they finish the cooked fish. "Now, why did you come to this island in the first place?" He asks and sees her ball a fist.

"I need to get stronger, the entirety of the Kingdom of Vale is under siege by Grimm and Beacon Academy has fallen, if I was stronger, maybe if I knew about my eyes sooner, maybe I could have stopped it …maybe Pyrrha would still be alive." Ruby says tearing up a little.

"Ah, well let's get started then." Naruto says, standing up.

"What?" She asks.

"Well, your weapon needs to be 'bathed in light' for three days, so it can hurt the Grimm of this Island. I know of a clearing near that cave you holed up in, that we can stay while your weapon is in the process of becoming a force of light." He says, picking up the tub and basket.

"What about the campsite?" She asks.

"It's fine, everything is done on the fly." He says, and they start walking. "So you're going to need something to do while your weapon is bathing, what would you say is your weakest point in combat?" He asks.

"In a fight, I'm pretty-much useless without Crescent Rose, a scythe is the only weapon I've ever had any talent with, but I'm worthless in hand-to-hand combat." She says.

"Then that's the first thing we'll work on, not just hand-to-hand combat, but other weapons as well." He says.

"I know what you said, but why are you helping me, we don't even know each other" She asks.

"Well I've seen thousands of people come to this island, plenty with silver eyes most of them without, given you're the first who's actually listened to anything I've said, I can't stand to see another person die." He says sadly.

"That's horrible; you've had to watch thousands of people die!" She says sadly, and they walk in silence.

We see Yang and her dad sparring, she is not wearing the jacket, and she has a gold painted prosthetic arm. "Hey Tai, Yang, heard from Qrow yet?" They hear Jaune ask, as he and two others walk up the first is a male he's 17, 5'9, has neck length black hair with a magenta streak on the left side of his hair along with magenta eyes, he's wearing a dark green, long-sleeved tailcoat that is red on the inside, with black and gold trimmings and pink cuffs over a black long-sleeved shirt, along with light tan pants with black shoes. The other is a girl she's 17, 5'1, has short orange hair and turquoise eyes, she's wearing a whit sleeveless top under a black vest with a hammer and lightning bolt on the back, with a bit of armor on, along with a short pink skirt that ends mid-thigh pink and white shoes.

"Hey Jaune, you brought Ren and Nora." Yang says.

"And no, no word from Qrow yet." Tai sighs out.

"Damn it!" Jaune growls, hitting a tree, and his fist flashes white, and the tree splinters.

(Geez and I thought I had anger issues.) Yang thinks.

"Calm down Jaune, there's no need to get worked up, Qrow Branwen is a Huntsman, only rivalled by his sister, he'll find her." Ren says.

"Renny's right, we'll find her." Nora says.

"Has your Aura been acting up a lot like that lately, Jaune?" Tai asks.

"It only does it when he gets angry." Ren says.

"I lost Pyrrha, I can't lose Ruby to." Jaune says.

"Jaune… you like Ruby don't you?" Yang asks, he just looks down and walks away.

We see Ruby dip Crescent Rose into the Pool of Light. "So now that you're here in a calmer state, do you feel anything around the pool?" Naruto asks.

"Well, I actually feel at peace, and… is that water drinkable?" Ruby asks.

"Same feeling I had then, and yes, it's actually helpful for you to drink it." He says, filling a cup and handing it to her.

"What does that mean?" She asks, taking it.

"Well, naturally the power of silver eyes can only be used in the direct presence of Grimm, but I drank it not long after I ended up here, and I was able call on my eyes power any time, which means you won't have to be in danger to train the powers. Though eventually, you will have to learn to use the power amidst combat against Grimm." He asks as she downs the water, and the entire island is engulfed in a white light.
