I own nothing except my OC's. Any similarities of said OCs to real people, or other OCs, is a pure coincidence.
Through some miracle, both Remus Lupin and his wife, who was still referred to as Tonks by most (though Remus called her Dora), had survived The Battle of Hogwarts a little over a year ago. After the battle was over, Professor McGonagll had offered Remus the job of Defence Against the Dark Arts Professor, a job he had held for the 1993 to 1994 academic year. With the promise of accommodation at the castle for him, Dora, and their newborn son Teddy, Remus had accepted. After Teddy had been born, Dora had stepped down from being an Auror, wanting to focus on her family. Instead, she would cover Remus's lessons around the full moon.

With a small smile, Remus pretended not to notice Dora sneaking in with their son, who was almost eighteen-months-old, in her arms as he taught the third year Hufflepuffs. This was a relatively common occurrence, Dora slipping into the class, especially near the full moon. Usually, Teddy was content to stay in his mother's arms as he taught. But not today, apparently. Teddy wriggled his way out of his mother's arms, landing on his bottom. Before Dora could stand up, let alone pick the toddler up again, Teddy had got to his feet and started to run to his daddy.
"Da!" Teddy called. There was giggles and laughter from his class. With a smile, and not even breaking his lecture, Remus bent down and scooped his son up, settling the toddled on his hip. This was where Teddy remained for the rest of the class, his head resting on his dad's shoulder as his dad's arms encircled him.

"Now, Teddy, you shouldn't really do that when daddy is teaching, ok?" Dora heard Remus tell their son as she approached them.
"Sowwy Da" Teddy replied.
"Apology accepted" Remus kissed Teddy on the top of his head. "Now, go with you mum. My next class is due to start in a moment." Dora accepted their son and they went and sat in the back of the class again. Remus looked over at one point to see Teddy fast asleep in Dora's arms and smiled. Life was good.
