The longest day of her life.
What she had perceived to be a day of a lifetime was indescribable. There were no words that could express the raw emotion she dealt with throughout the day. It had been a rollercoaster of a day. She was mentally, physically, and emotionally exhausted from believing she would never see her Goku-sa to losing her boys.
Of course, her husband came to the rescue. But that was all done after she was gone already.
A supposed joyous day had turned into a treacherous one. Her heart couldn't handle everything she was put through time and time again. She only wanted her boys to be safe and out of harm's way, but that wasn't possible considering who her husband was.
She couldn't process the extremity of it all, affecting everyone mentally and physically. It was draining, having a continuation of the same thing over and over again. Her youngest was only seven, for Kami's sake! Did no one take time to recognize how these events would accept her kids? Vegeta and Bulma's? Apparently not.
How typical it was for her to deal with the repercussions and help her family out. Yet, she had Goku this time around. That made a difference, or so she hoped it would. It had to. He was her partner! Her life companion! He would never leave her!
Seconds within arriving home, the long-awaited Saiyan plops into a chair. Stretching his arms out, he rubs his stomach, motioning his hunger. "Chi-Chi, I'm starvin'! It's been too long since I've had one of your homecooked meals!"
As per usual, the dainty woman is the last one in - not acquainted with any of their belongings. She had yet to process everything that went on! "...Yer kiddin', right?! Goku-sa, we just arrived home an' yer already askin' me 'ta cook ya up a feast! Do ya understand how much all of this is for me 'ta wrap my mind around?! I don't think ya have the slightest idea of whatcha put me through these last seven years!"
Brows glued together, he raises a brow. What was Chi-Chi rambling on about? She had just cried about how much she missed him...so what was her issue? "Chi-Chi, ya just cried an hour or so ago 'bout how happy ya were 'bout me comin' home...I thought ya would be more than happy 'ta cook us all somethin' 'ta eat as a family…."
"...I get it. I... I'm not in the mood 'ta cook right now. I'm sorry, Goku-sa, but I don't have the mind capacity 'ta do that tonight... it's been a long day. Can ya get yerself some fish or somethin' an' cook that up for yerself?" She asked, hopeful that her husband would understand somewhat even if it disappointed him greatly.
A deep heavy sigh is released. Eyes diverting from his wife, Goku turns and bows his head. It was apparent that the Saiyan was greatly disappointed. He had been looking forward to it for quite some time now, especially after Majin Buu was defeated. Straightening his gaze, he observes as his wife leaves the room. What was she up to?
Rapidly, she strides toward their room, leaving the three males alone. Closing the door behind her, she undoes her hair and slips off her shoes - allowing her more comfortable while she rested.
Climbing onto the mattress, she already has remorse and guilt for how she handled the situation. This was a celebration to celebrate the return of her husband, who Goten never knew. Again, she got to have her husband. Nonetheless, she was triggered by her husband's request. It wasn't selfish either. Still, to be thinking of food at a time like this?! Well, it was her Goku. He was always dreaming and waiting for the following concoctions - the recipes she was given or bought. Thinking about it, he did deserve a high amount of praise for the sacrifices he made for everyone. If anything, she was the selfish one, holding a grudge against her wonderful husband.
Eyes laid on the man beside her, her fingers dragging across his chest. Studying the scars, bruises, marks, everything he had endured throughout his life. How? How could she bring up such a delicate subject? She didn't get it. Was she too harsh on herself? Him? The world?
Rolling over, she stares at the wall - not wanting to let her body get heated up at the moment. She couldn't process all that they went through; she went through. With Goku gone for seven years, did he even want to touch her? Stuck in her own thoughts, she disregards his attempts to talk to her.
"Chi-Chi…"
"Hey, Chi."
"Chi-Chi, please talk to me."
Repeated attempts and he felt defeated. How could Chi-Chi ignore him so blatantly? He knew he had been gone for seven years, but this felt - cold. Chi-Chi had never been this...aggravated at him. Did she hate him? Resent him?
Breaking the silence, he pulls her into his arms. "I love ya, Chi-Chi. I always have since the day I married ya. I dunno why you're givin' me the cold shoulder...but I don't like it. Please talk to me, Chi…." Resting his head against hers, he threads his fingers into hers, placing them against her heart. "I know you're probably mad at me for what I did...I...I would still do it again if I was given the choice. I did it for ya and the boys."
Wanting anything but to talk to him, she pushes against him. She didn't want anything to do with him - not now. "No. I don't wanna talk 'bout it." She grunts, using her weight against him. "Leave me alone. I don't wanna 'ta talk 'bout it."
"But...Chi-Chi...I...I just wanna touch all of ya as much as I can. I missed so much...an' now you're refusin' 'ta have anythin' 'ta do with me? It stings Chi-Chi...I couldn't stop thinkin' 'bout ya when I was gone." He grasps her wrists, trying to convince her that he still loved her more than anything out there.
"GET OFF ME, GOKU!" She barks, fighting his grasp. Couldn't he leave well enough alone?!
"But Chi... ya've been the only thing I can't get off my mind the last seven years…." He discloses, letting go of her. "Ya don't have 'ta treat me like a monster... ya've always been the one person to understand me out of everyone out there."
Forehead crinkling, she glares at him. "Don't act like yer the victim here. I waited for seven years, Goku. Do ya understand how much that weighs on someone's heart?! I thought that ya wanted nothin' 'ta do with me! That ya rather be left dead than see me again! It messed me up, Goku! Ya don't realize how much I wanted 'ta be touched, loved, held by ya...and now you're here. I'm as happy as ever, but I'm still convinced it's unreal...that yer gonna be taken away from me again…" Tears streak down her cheeks. How could he be so selfish for thinking about himself and his desires when she had been left alone with nothing?! There had been a few times where she attempted to play with herself. Still, it felt strange - nothing compared to what her husband gave her. There was something magical about when they did it, especially the night before he went off to fight Cell.
Tensing in his arms, she faces away from him. Glossy eyes and trembling lips, the female breaks, hyperventilating. "...why?...w-why?...didn't...d-didn't...y-ya...w-w...w-wanna...be w-with us?"
"Chi-Chi…" Tightening his grip around her, he buries his face in the crook of her neck. He loved her with all his heart. Placing a hand against her chest, he paid attention to her heart, making him feel closer to her than he had been with her in a long time. "... I'm here now...I promise I'll stick around…." It broke him, watching her like this. He had no clue that he had affected any of them like this. Nor did he know that he had another son until the other day. Resting his head against her's, he brings her as close as he can. "I love ya so much, Chi... you're everythin' to me…."
No longer wanting to fight, she stays still. Continuing to breathe heavily, Chi-Chi begins making attempts to pace her breathing.
Recognizing that he had admitted that he would never take any of it back, he swallows his pride and recants. "...I shouldn't have done that to ya or the boys. Ya didn't deserve it...I wish...I wish I could take it back, now that I know how much pain it caused ya. I hate seein' ya like this, Chi-Chi... it's horrible. I-I know that I can't change anythin', but I need ya to know that without ya by my side, life would be a struggle. I couldn't take care of the boys or myself without ya. You're the greatest blessin' I've been given.."
Calmer, Chi-Chi proceeds to gasp for air every now and then, dealing with the effects of her body panicking. "...y-ya mean that, Goku-sa?...ya a-ain't just sayin' that?"
A brief nod, and he takes her left hand, rolling her toward him. "Hey- I wanna look at ya...I didn't get to see ya for years. Please let me look at ya."
Shifting her body, she lifts her gaze. Obsidian eyes meeting Goku's midnight ones, the petite wife is met with a peck.
"I love ya." The Saiyan coos, setting his hand against the back of her head. "..."
Scanning his eyes, she can't but notice the lust in his eyes for her. "...why are y-ya starin' at me like that?..."
"I want ya more than ever, Chi-Chi... it's been seven years...I crave ya. I wanna make ya cry for me, fill ya up, watch your body react to me. I need it…." He dictates, able to acknowledge that he was most likely going to get nowhere.
"... I'm... I-I'm sorry...but I don't think... I-I'm ready for that…." She reveals, hopeful that he wouldn't force her into anything.
Shifting her shirt, he searches her body for any marking he left in the past. There had to be at least one...
Uncomfortable, Chi-Chi tries to push his arms off her. "Stop...please."
"... I'm not goin' to do anythin'. I promise." He reassures her, fixated on finding one mark or scratch on her.
"Then what are ya doin'?!"
Eyes meeting her's, he presses his lips firm together. "...A mark."
Eyes shooting wide-open, she's flabbergasted that was what he was thinking of! "No! Get off!"
"...but I wanna find one! There has to be one somewhere! Please, Chi!"
"Why?! I hated ya leavin' marks on me like some animal!" She snarls, scrunching her nose in disgust.
Freezing, he stops. "...animal?..is that how ya see me as some animal?"
Finally free, she crawls off the bed and gets to her feet. "No, I don't! But I didn't like ya bitin' me! It hurt, y'know! How would ya like me bitin' ya?!"
"...I wouldn't mind it." He whispers, barely distinguishable for anyone to hear but him.
"HUH?! Whatcha mean that ya wouldn't mind it?! Are ya sayin' that ya want me 'ta bite ya?!" She cries out loud, convinced she hears things.
"... it's how I tell other people you're mine...that they can't have ya... that's why I do it." Goku confesses, avoiding her gaze. "I won't do it anymore...not that we'll do anythin' for a while…."
Lost for words, she's flabbergasted that he'd do it for that reason. Was he that possessive of her? She hadn't believed so, but then who knew what she didn't know about him. It made her feel rather foolish about herself. "Goku-sa...I...I-I didn't know…."
"Ya never asked...I just assumed that ya didn't mind it since ya never said anythin' 'bout it before."
Swallowing, she explains. "...ya were so rough that when ya did it, my body couldn't process it like I do now cause I was overstimulated. I suppose that helped a lot." Sitting on the bed, she stares blankly at the wall. "I... I'm sorry I called ya an animal. I didn't mean it like that…."
Crawling toward her, he hugs her from behind and yanks her toward the head of the bed. "I guess I should just know that I'm different from y'all...I never asked anyone else if they bit their wives. From what I can tell from Bulma's little clothing, Vegeta doesn't bite her."
Alarmed, the wife stiffens. "What do ya mean that from the little clothes Bulma wears?! Have ya seen her naked or somethin'?!"
"Sure. Not on purpose though...besides, she wasn't ya. For some reason guys like that, but I don't see the appeal." He announces, inhaling her scent. Having been aroused, he licks the side of her neck. "...please stay here. I wanna hold ya. It's all I want."
"No...I don't wanna with ya pokin' me down there!" She argues, convinced that somehow he'd manage to sneak his way into her pants! "...I don't want nothin' happenin'!"
Contemplating on how to win this, he takes the blanket and wraps it around her. "Will this help? I wanna wake up to ya...be assured that this is real. Please."
Noticing how much this mattered to him, she shuffles out of the blanket and lets him have part of it. "Here-. Don't let go." She hums, snuggling close to her beloved. "I'm trustin' ya. Ya better not abuse it, mister." She giggles to herself.
Locking his arms around him, he nuzzles his face into her neck. "I won't."
