This is a bit of a sad story. I was a bit sad when I wrote this. Hope you enjoy it.

Chapter 1

Aurora's POV

I was situated on a large rock, I bandaged the large gash on my arm. It stung as I disinfected it. I heard a branch crack and I pulled out my knife, Adamas, which translated to unconquerable. 15 inches of deadly stygian iron. I held it close to me and looked around, trying my hardest to say silent. If I even made a squeak, I would be found by the masked ones. That would be the end of me. If I survived the Tournament, I would go down in history. The one to end the Blue Moon Tournament, saving thousands of future females.

I guess I should start from the beginning. How exactly did I, Aurora Alice Regina, end up in the Blue Moon Tournament? What exactly is the Blue Moon Tournament? Well you see it all started when I met my brother.

"Move it girly!" A rude bus passenger yelled to me as I accidentally brushed them when I ran by. I played no attention to him of course, I had other things to attend to. I was being chased by several Hellhounds. 8 to be exact. I was no stranger to the constant attacks by now. I am 14 at the time this tale takes place. I had lived 2 years in an empty dumpster outside a bookstore. I worked at this bookstore too. That was the deal I had with the owner, A middle aged woman with cold gray eyes. The first day I started there, she told me that I was to address her as Miss and nothing more. She never seemed to notice the constant attacks. No one did. Ever. Today was going to be a good day though. I could feel it. I also felt the pavement scrape the palms of my hands when I fell to the ground. No one gave me a second glance. So much for a good day. I boarded the Subway and sat down on an empty seat. 2 stops passed and someone sat next to me. Percy Jackson. The most picked on boy at Goode High. I don't know what he did to piss off the so-called popular kids, but it must have been something bad. They treated him like crap. Tripping him in the halls, Bullying him relentlessly. He ignored all of it. I wasn't much better off. Percy was a target, but I was still a major target for the populars. I had Vitilo and that made me a prime target for bullying.

"Hey, you're Aurora, right?" Percy asked me. I was a bit surprised, Percy was 2 grades ahead of me, I expected him to not even recognize me, much less know my name.

"Yeah, My name's Aurora" I told him

"Oh, cool. I just wanted to see if you were okay. I heard you took a pretty bad fall yesterday. I would have helped you, but I was in the bathroom, I heard what happened from a friend." he explained. I was stunted for a moment. Why did he care if I was okay? We rode the subway together everyday, he had never talked to me before. Why start now?

"I'm okay, it was just a bruise. The more battle scars the better, right?" I said. Trying to cover up the fact that my leg throbbed, I had to run to the subway, it was murder on my leg.

"I guess" He said. I realized that we had reached our stop and bid him good day. Before he could respond, I dashed to school, ignoring the immense amount of pain in my left leg. I made it to school and was able to duck into the bathroom before Advisory. I lifted up my leggings to reveal a huge purple bruise on my leg. There was a large scab where my leg had come into contact with the metal table leg. No time to worry about that though. I had to get to the Advisory. I walked slowly, narrowly avoiding a run in with Danielle-the worst of the populars. She was the reason my leg had a huge purple bruise on it. I hated her with white hot intensity. As I walked into Advisory, my friend Samantha ran up to me. In her hand she was holding her phone.

"What is this?" She held up a picture of Percy and I talking on the Subway.

"Me on the subway?" I said

"Wrong answer. What were you doing with the hottest guy in school?" Oh yeah, did I mention that Percy was popular because of his looks. He wasn't really my type, but a lot of girls liked him because he was a definite looker.

"Riding the subway to school." I answered with a sigh.

"What did you talk about? Did he ask you out?" She asked excitedly

I narrowed my eyes, "why on earth would he ask me out? No, he did not ask me out. You know he has a Girlfriend." I said, I rolled my eyes at her.

"Ughhhhhh" She said.

"BRINGGGGGGGGG" The bell rang and I took my seat.
