CHAPTER 1

A/N

Hey guys, this is my new story and it's basically all about a whole new twist to the Naruto and fate series mashup, Its my first time ever writing here, so I hope you'll all receive me well, have a great time here, and tell me if anything is to your liking or not in the comment section, I promise to try my best in responding to all the comments and reviews.

Now onto the story!!!!!

Ring*Ring*

"That's all for today class, I will be expecting your assignments on my table first thing on Monday", the teacher of the class 2A at Fuyuki Academy said before getting ready to leave the class.

A young boy with unruly spiky hair and a tall build immediately stood up, his classmates following suit almost immediately, "Stand!, Bow!" said Naruto Namikaze before the teacher left, once the teacher was gone he started packing up his bag in order to get home as soon as possible, his mum and dad, Minato and Kushina Namikaze weren't going to be around for a while due to them needing to go on an 'extended holiday trip', although Naruto just knew this was a lame excuse for another job they had to do.

As Naruto was thinking all this he quickly remembered that the teacher assigned some work to him and his assistant before they were allowed to go home. To say the truth, Naruto didn't want to be the class representative, he was chosen by vote because he was somewhat popular due to his above average looks and smarts. He really swore up and down when he was chosen because he truly didn't want any attention in his school years, he had already been promised that he wouldn't be forced into college, so he just had to get past high school, and now here he was stuck with all this responsibility as well as the most hell bent 'hero of justice' in the form of Shirou Emiya, his life couldn't get any worse. Or could it?

He quickly collected his things and looked around for any sign of his foe, but as he was just about to leave *sneak* out of the class through the back, he was stopped at the door by the assistant class representative Shirou Emiya, "Naruto, do you have a moment? I wanted to go finish off the rest of the class work before finally going home" 'Dammitt!!! I was this close' Naruto swore, he contemplated simply telling Shirou that he was sick and couldn't help out today, but he knew that Shirou would believe him and go do everything himself and he wasn't that cruel, so he simply resigned himself to his fate, "Uhmm, hey Shirou! Fancy meeting you here Dattebayo!!" Shirou looked at Naruto like he just made a silly joke, he didn't actually think he would let him escape, did he? "What are you talking about Naruto? This is my class too, haha" Shirou laughed at Naruto, "Now come on, we don't have all day okay" "yeah yeah, I know, lead the way hero of justice" Shirou immediately looped a hand around Naruto's neck and brought him down in order to shush him "HEY!! Don't call me that, I told you that in confidence!!"

Naruto simply stood and chuckled as he remembered the time Shirou told him he wanted to be a hero of justice, it was the day after they were chosen as the class representatives and they were just coming from the teacher's lounge after receiving their orders on what to do, they were simply walking when suddenly, "Hey Naruto, how come you always seem like you don't want to be here?" it was Shirou that asked this question, and it actually made Naruto stumble, because as much as he didn't want to be here; he never actually showed that fact to anyone, and the never expected the 'little janitor' of all people to be the one to figure it out, "what are you taking about Shirou?" asked Naruto with some seriousness after he regained his composure, "oh, I didn't mean to annoy you. I just always notice how your eyes just always seemed bored and out of it in class, it was actually quite obvious" 'THE FUCK!!!' Naruto swore, what the hell was with that and since when could you tell that from his eyes, he must be losing his touch, "Look I just don't see any point to this entire school thing, where I come from we do thing somewhat differently" said Naruto "I get that Naruto, but I think you'll find that there's a lot to gain by taking school more seriously, even though you already know everything about what they're teaching us, you can still find enjoyment with the friends you make-"

"Don't need em"

"-or the clubs and extracurricular activities" continued Shirou while still walking as though he didn't even hear what Naruto said. Naruto looked at Shirou and thought about what he said, he truly didn't want to be here and he didn't want to even make any friends, it all just seemed like an annoyance to him. He had never actually been close to people his age because his parents always had to move for job related purposes, but he understood, after all if he were a top class mage or an assassin he would be on the move too.

"Why do you even care Shirou? What do you expect to gain from telling me this?" asked Naruto, it wasn't every day you came across someone who wanted to pry into your business like this, "oh nothing Naruto, I just think you should enjoy your school life more, you don't get to be in high school ever again you know, and to tell you the truth I just couldn't not say anything, I really just like helping people and seeing as you just transferred here and you're already trying to isolate yourself, I couldn't just stand by like that", Naruto simply sighed "oh I get it now, you're basically one of those good guys in movies who tries to save everyone huh"

"Actually ever since I was little I always wanted to save as many people as I possibly could, you could say I wanted to be a hero of sorts. A hero of justice", at this juncture Naruto stopped walking and simply stared at Shirou, he was about to laugh his ass off and simply disregard what he said, but the look in Shirou's eyes as well as how much meaning Shirou put into what he said rendered him speechless.

'Is this dude actually serious?'

"You're pulling my leg right Shirou" "why would I do that Naruto? It's like I said, I really want to help people and that includes you. So that's why I would like to be your friend, what do you say?" Shirou said this with a smile on his face and his hand extended for a handshake.

Naruto looked at the outstretched hand for a while before looking back at Shirou, he contemplated saying no to this but for some reason his instincts were telling him to agree to it, and after some thought he simply decided to agree to it, after all he could do much worse for his first friend. Naruto simply smiled back and grasped Shirou's hand "Alright fine, I guess you're not too bad" realizing he had just gotten through to another person, Shirou's smile brightened and he and Naruto walked back towards the classroom to finish off the work given by the teacher.

Rin Tohsaka was just leaving the classroom after a tiring day listening to boring lectures, she truly found regular classes to be tedious and boring when compared to magic classes, after all who would prefer Pythagoras theorems over Mana circles and how to go about drawing them. She rounded the corner of the hallway and promptly came face to face with Naruto, "Oh Rin, how you doing?" he said, "Naruto? Oh I'm fine, sorry about that" .Rin and Naruto had met through Shirou in the past and had been slight friends for a while now, and although Rin kept a stoic façade and ice like personality most of the time, Naruto could still see that's she harbored a slight crush.

"Oh! hey Rin" said Shirou as he also turned the corner "Naruto we've got to go, the teacher will be mad if we're late".

'3, 2, 1, ah there it is' thought Naruto, and on cue a slight blush erupted on Rin's face as she saw Shirou. It might have been oblivious to the idiot that called himself the 'hero of justice', but Naruto could literally tell immediately he saw Rin that she liked Shirou.

"Uhm Rin, are you okay? You seem a bit red" said Shirou as he put his hands on Rin's face. Naruto just sighed and grabbed Shirou before he could make the poor girl pass out from blood flow, "Bye Rin, catch you later Dattebayo!!"

Rin stood there for a while before she regained her composure and shook her head while slapping her cheeks to get rid of the redness, she inwardly cringed at how much of a fool she looked like at that moment, 'I couldn't even say a single word!! What's wrong with me dammit', she simply sighed and started to walk out of the school, she had a servant to summon tonight anyways, and she needed to be in her best state of mind if she wanted any chance at summoning the Saber class.

Naruto's Home*

Naruto pulled his bicycle over in front of his home, it was a typical Japanese home with a wide yard and about 20 rooms in it, but with his parents out of town, Naruto had the house all to himself.

He walked over to the front door and after unlocking it took off his shoes and went to the fridge to grab a drink, he uncapped the drink and rest his body on the counter, after a few gulps he spoke up "Damn, and here I thought-" Naruto quickly grabbed the knife from the rack behind his arm, and with pin point accuracy threw it towards a fly passing by a window in front of him, but just before the fly was sliced in two, the knife suddenly stopped in midair as though it were being held by an arm, "-I could finally have some rest" finished Naruto, "come out here you perverted bastard"

"That's no way to talk to your big brother Naruto", all of a sudden the space shimmered and revealed a mask wearing man seating on the window sill, reading an orange book and holding the knife with two fingers at the tip, "This is the thanks I get for helping your parents check up on you huh?", Naruto scoffed and put the drink back in the fridge, "Please Kakashi, I'm sure you came here only because you heard there was mixed baths in the hot springs or something. And didn't Rin-neesan warn you against those books, wouldn't want me telling your girlfriend what you're doing right" Naruto said with a smirk, the smirk grew as he saw Kakashi slowly close the book and place it back in his pocket before turning to face Naruto, "Come now Naruto, we're brothers right, you wouldn't wanna do that to me, would you?"

"I don't know Kakashi, but maybe a I'll change my mind if you helped me out with the last stage of the rasengan", Kakashi simply sighed, he knew this would be the request from the boy, ever since Naruto started learning Ninjutsu and sword fighting four years ago he had been going at it non-stop, it was actually scary how quickly he picked up sword fighting, because as of right now there was nothing more needed to teach him and he wasn't sure he could even win a swords only fight against Naruto, and the boy was only 17, the Uzumaki's were scary like that. But the ninjutsu part of things was even scarier, he had started learning the rasengan last year and he was already in the last stage: power, although the boy didn't know it yet and just thought this was normal for people, he was actually an anomaly even after considering he was the son of the legendary swords woman Kushina and the prodigy ninjutsu user Minato.

"*sigh, fine you brat, you have a deal-", Naruto quickly whooped and punched his fist in the air, "-but it's only for today okay!! I have to get out of town again tomorrow" said Kakashi, he got down from the window sill and started walking towards the houses dojo without even looking to see if Naruto was following, he brought out the book to keep reading.

Naruto quickly caught up with him, "Is it Akatsuki work again?" Naruto asked, he knew that both his parents and Kakashi were part of an organization called the Akatsuki. It was basically the ninja version of the clock tower but far more secretive and they only allowed the best of the best of the best into the organization, he looked forward to the day they would let him join too, but apparently he had to go through high school first. "I'm not meant to talk about it Naruto" Kakashi said tiredly, this wasn't the first time he was telling Naruto not to ask about his work, and it surely won't be the last, "and could you please not talk about the Akatsuki like they're some regular organization, its secret for a reason you know"

"Yeah yeah, I get it onii-san"

They walked for a while more before getting to the dojo, Naruto quickly took of his school shirt and trousers and put on workout clothes before joining Kakashi, "Alright Naruto, since you've already mastered rotation and containment, all that's left is power…" "yes I know Kakashi-sensei, but even though I got the theory down pretty well, the practical aspect is still damn hard", Kakashi nodded and brought out his right arm, "okay Naruto, watch closely and try to see what I'm doing", Kakashi, without even dropping the book from his face, simply started conjuring up a rasengan, it started up as a tornado of wind in his palm, but then became an orb and started spinning even faster, the orb then grew in size and gained a blue hue as the wind pressure made Naruto squint his eyes a little, Kakashi held the orb this way for a while before letting it disappear.

"That was badass Kakashi-sensei" Naruto said while walking backwards to try his hand at it, "Thanks, now I want you to try it till you can't hold it up anymore, let me see exactly what's wrong with your technique", Naruto nodded and brought out his own right arm, he was able to quickly form the tornado of wind on his palm and turn the wind into a ball while still increasing the speed, but as the speed picked up and a blue hue was starting to form, Naruto's demeanor changed and Kakashi could see sweat forming on his brow, Kakashi frowned and looked at the ball of wind more closely, the rasengan was able to last for a few seconds before Naruto had to dispel it, hands on his knees and panting

"Naruto, how much mana do you have left? Kakashi asked, "I dunno, I guess about 30% right now", Kakashi's eyes widened and he face palmed, he should have guessed this was the problem, "Naruto, are you an idiot? How many times have I told you that you have astronomical levels of mana, why would you try to put all of that into a rasengan?" Naruto just looked at Kakashi and blinked, "so you're saying I put in too much mana?" "Yes Naruto, and imagine trying to contain your levels of mana into that small orb, and then adding even extra, you really need to learn restraint kid" said kakashi. Naruto simply frowned and tried again, this time only using a mere 5% of mana, but even with only 5% mana the orb he produced, was still Just as strong as Kakashi's. Naruto couldn't stop a stupid smile from crossing his face while he looked at the orb, 'Damn, just one instruction and the kid got it eh, he really is a prodigy like his father'.

After a few hours*

"Alright Naruto, I've gotta leave now, that's enough for today" Naruto stopped the kata's he was doing with the wooden sword, he walked towards Kakashi who was already standing by the window and bowed his head, "Arigato sensei" Kakashi smiled at this and nodded his head, he liked how Naruto called him different things with his different attitudes

"When will you come again onii-san?" Naruto said while looking a his feet "It gets pretty boring here alone huh, well I'll be back next week, so I'll surely check up on you, okay Naruto?" Naruto nodded and simply started walking back into the house, he heard the window open and close and knew that Kakashi had gone.

'Maybe I should go see Shirou? It'll surely be worth the walk to taste his cooking' Naruto thought as he walked inside to bath and change.
