Reborn from Ashes

Prologue

Harry Potter, savior of the wizarding world, beacon of hope and leader of the light, looked at the ground where blood lay of his own and other women. Then he turned back looking at his enemy, The Dark Lord lay still, where he was killed by Harry mere moments ago.

He remembered the duel between Lord Voldemort and himself that started about an hour ago. Before that he dueled many death eaters as well as demons for two and half hours. The fact that he was also able to duel Voldemort and was able to defeat him was proof of his power and control over his magic.

He remembered the fallout between his friends, no, his former friends during the Horcrux hunt. Ronald Weasley the coward and jealous git he became angry that he was not able to eat as much as he wanted. Hermione Granger, the loving girlfriend of Ronald Weasley supported him in his outcry against Harry.

He didn't even react to Ron until the red-haired idiot told him that he didn't understand the value of family as he didn't have one. He was a man who understood the value of family. He always wanted their support, love, and compliments. And the red-haired idiot had the gall to tell him the value of family.

It was when he reacted back they began a fight that resulted in the abandonment of his former friends. It hurt even more when Hermione left him for that weasel. She was the logic and reason in their trio. She was always by his side since his first year. It was in a spur-of-a-moment decision he decided to call his house-elf Kreacher who appeared in a pop.

The elf told him that the death eater died by crossing the wards of Grimmauld house. The death eater crossed the Fidelis but when he tried to damage the house other wards that were placed by previous Blacks reacted and killed him.

He returned to the Black ancestral home. He saw that the house was cleaner and brighter than normal. Kreacher had cleaned the home thoroughly after the gruesome death of Yaxley. It was then he began to study the books in the black library. He remembered that in the summer before his fifth year, Hermione tried to get into the library but could not enter because of the wards surrounding it. He entered the library and saw a large room filled with books and knowledge. He took the books that helped him to understand more about magic, Dark arts, and defense against Dark arts. He took the knowledge like a fish in water.

It was in the library he saw a book about occlumency. He read about it and found that the theory of occlumency he was taught by Snape was correct but the way to teach it was not the way Snape had taught him. He should have meditated and had peace in his mind before clearing it. Snape never taught him that. The way Snape taught him made him more prone to show more emotions in his mind than clearing them.

By learning occlumency his mind became more clear and focused. He learned occlumency, legilimency, and silent casting. He also found out that like Dumbledore and Voldemort he was also natural in legilimency. He used Potions to increase his health and training his body physically and dueling in the basement of a house with several dummies for about five hours a day made him more powerful.

One day when he was trying to learn occlumency, he meditated. While meditating he began to enter his mindscape where he saw a black smoke inside his mind, in a corner. He tried to approach it but got a sickly feeling. He left it wondering what was inside his mind for another time.

It was at that time he began to study the lord's book in the study room of lord black. He was officially Lord Black as Sirius named him in his will. He began to study more about The noble and most ancient house of Black.

The only noble and most ancient houses that existed right then were the House of Black and the house of Potter. It saddened him that he didn't know more about his own family. The only houses that were in higher standing than them both were the houses of Peverell Nightshade, Eveningshade, and the Royal house of LeFay. Many houses like Dragworth, Seewore were families of their equal standing. But they were all extinct. He was the Lord of both families. He was sure that if things were normal like in his third year other lords would be trying to kiss his arse to gain his favor. He saw his name as the last Lord Black in the Lord's study.

According to the book about the politics and law about Wizengamot and houses, he should have received a letter about his lordship when he was 17 and about his heirship when he was 13 years old. When he contacted Gringotts, who was neutral at war at that time, he received a portkey to Gringotts and was received by King Ragnok, the leader of the Goblin nation himself.

It was there he knew that his mail was screened by an owlward that was keyed to Dumbledore. It was there he saw the betrayal by the grandfather figure in his life. He received his lord ring from the Potter and Black family. It was there he discovered that he was also the heir of the Peverell and Eveningshade family, now Lord.

It has been almost a millennium since the two families had a Lord. He became Lord Peverell by blood but he became Lord Eveningshade by magic. The last lords of both Eveningshade and nightshade who saw the last of the family made a special enchantment in their family to find their heir and found him.

He found that both Potter and Black families had a vast number of galleons that made Malfoys, the main funder of Voldemort, a pauper. Both family vaults also had a fair amount of books and family grimoires that contained all the information about the family.

The Peverell and Eveningshade family vaults didn't have much gold but the books about necromancy, soul magic, blood magic and forbidden ritual, spells, and materials for rituals. Many rare materials like sea dragon scale, royal, and shadow Phoenix feathers were found in the Eveningshade vault. The Potter family also had a manor that was unplottable in Britain. When he put his family ring he knew the location of the family manor. In his Potter family vault, he found the journals of his father and mother.

Another big surprise was when King Ragnok told him about Horcrux in the family vault of the noble and ancient house of Lestrange. Goblins, creatures of magic, seized the vault and cleansed the Horcrux. And for the money in the Peverell vault, he made Ragnok destroy the locket Horcrux in his hands.

He also took the family grimoires from Peverell and the evening shade vault. When he opened the Peverell grimoire he was greeted by a beautiful woman who had nice curves, with black hair and red eyes, announcing herself as Morgana le fay. She looked into his eyes and he felt like he was being judged. He brought his occlumency to full effect but couldn't stop the feeling. It was then she said that she had been once met by the deity 'fate' and it told her that she would have to teach the chosen one when the time came. He was confused why he became lord Potter, Black, Peverell, Eveningshade, and now was prince Lefay, but now he understood that it was all decided by fate. But he decided to refuse training from the darkest magician ever lived.

But began to study other family magic and books of his families. It all changed when he felt pain in his scar one day. He used occlumency and saw that Voldemort was angry that he couldn't find the wand. Using what he read about legilimency he began to see memories from Voldemort. And learned that Voldemort was trying to find the 'Elder wand'. Then he began to look deeper in his mind and learned that Nagini was a Horcrux. Then he pondered and found that the last Horcrux was in the room of requirements.

He left the mind and was having a victory dance while miles away Voldemort thought to himself why he thought about his Horcruxes. From the books and grimoire of Peverell, he knew that the elder wand was last in possession of Dumbledore and was buried with him. But the master of the wand was Malfoy not Snape like Voldemort believed. He also found out that Nagini was stationed in Godric's Hollow, disguised as Bathilda Bagshot.

One thing that he found out was that after receiving his Peverell lordship his invisibility cloak when used by him, worked as a second skin. It covered his body and stuck to him like a tight dress robe and even came with a hood to cover his head. He also found out that he could turn on and off his invisibility as he wished with a thought. He also discovered a feeling of Peverell family magic from inside the golden snitch. He used fiendfyre to burn the snitch as it didn't open as he wanted.

While it was hard for him to control the fiendfyre he asserted his will over the uncontrollable fire and controlled it. There he finds out a stone with very powerful magic that was not harmed by the fire. According to his knowledge, not many things could survive the fiendfyre. He found out the resurrection stone of the deathly hallows. He also finds out that while others use the deathly hallows and heirlooms of Peverells, they cannot be used to their full potential. When Lord Peverell uses it, it can bring a devastating effect.

He stayed in the potter family manor for about six months, training his magic, mind, and body. His family manor was a huge house of four floors and twelve bedrooms with a big ballroom, a potion lab, and a dueling room while he was sure that he wouldn't be able to win a 1on1 duel with Voldemort he could defeat his inner circle easily. The hall of the manor was adorned in red and silver wherein in the center of the wall the Dragon and Griffin were standing back to back with the wand and sword in both hands.

One thing he finds out while he is practicing his magic is the increase in the power and control over his magic. He only needed to think about the spell to fire the spell from his wand.

With confidence in his skill in magic, he apparated to the Godric's Hollow. Covered in his invisibility cloak he looked around the village and saw many houses, a church, and a graveyard. He walked to the graveyard and saw a statue of his family. He looked at his dad's statue. He looked just like Harry but his shoulders were broader but he didn't have the muscles Harry had during his training.

He walked to the graveyard where his parents and the Peverells were buried. He saw the graveyards of the names Kendra and Arianna Dumbledore but he didn't pay much attention to them. He went straight to his parents' graveyard and talked to them. For outsiders, he might have looked like an idiot but he felt more connected to his parents. About a half-hour later he caught the sight of an old lady who was looking right at him. He knew that it was Nagini disguised as the old lady.

He followed the woman into her house and began to converse with her in parseltongue. Before long he followed her into the second floor of her house but before she could turn around he hit her with a dark cutting curse to her torso from Black family magic that cut her through.

Before him lay the snake trembling with a cloud of black smoke coming from her torso. Before she could move he conjured a cage around her and cast the fiendfyre. He was sure that the Horcrux had died and went back to his family manor.

After two days he felt his scar pringling and looked into Voldemort's mind. He saw the remains of Bathilda Bagshot's house. From what he could gather from his mind he knew that Voldemort was going to check on his remaining Horcruxes.

He looked into the marauder's map and saw that Malfoy was outside of the common room with Snape in the corridor on the third floor. He apparated to the edge of Hogsmeade and went to the Hogwarts through the way of the shrieking shack.

He entered the shrieking shack, looked at the map, and saw that the Carrow twins were also with them. Entered Hogwarts but he could feel the ward brushing past his cloak. It didn't even detect him. He entered the room where his targets were and saw that the door was opened, he entered without alerting anyone. He knew that it was time to see the results of his training for the past six months.

The most dangerous target here was Snape. So he fired a powered concussion curse at Snape so fastly that before he could turn he was down. Others were fast looking for him and he fired two bludgeoning hexes and one of them dodged and the other one bought up a shield. The one who bought up a shield was down as the hex broke the shield and hit him in the head.

The dodged one stands up to fight him but before Harry can hex him, a crucio is heard from Malfoy. He dodged it and fired a bonebreaker towards Malfoy's hand and summoned the wand from Malfoy who was clutching his broken hand. He knew that he had become the master of the elder wand.

As he relished in his thoughts the green light of the killing curse came past him and he saw the last carrow looking in his general area. He fired an expelliarmus and two stunning curses sideways. His last target came down on the second stunning curse that hit him straight in his chest. He stunned all four death eaters and tied them up. He also snapped the four wands and checked them for extra wands. He found one more wand in the sleeve of Snape and snapped it.

He looked at the map and saw that students who were on the side of the light or who supported him weren't seen on the map. He knew that he didn't have much time so he went straight to the room of requirements(ROR). He thought of the room of hidden things and walked through the corridor three times and saw that the room had appeared. He walked the path where he saw in the mind of Voldemort and saw that the Diadem was in the same spot where Tom had left it; he took it to a more secluded place inside the room and used fiendfyre to destroy it.

He felt more relieved that Tom is a mortal now. He knew that Voldemort was coming. He went back to the first floor and placed the wand on his throat and called the professors. Soon all the professors came where he was standing with some students including all the Gryffindors and others. At his sight, many of them cheered but before anyone could do anything he told them to be prepared and sent everybody to their posts to defend Hogwarts against Tom.

He then went straight to the grave of Dumbledore and took the Elder wand from him. The moment he took the wand he could feel the connection from the wand. He places it in the holster in his left arm he took from the Black Vault. When he went back he could see many members of the order, former students, and a handful of Slytherins standing in their post to guard Hogwarts.

Among them, he saw his former friends staring at them and coming towards him. He didn't have time to deal with them, so he moved away. He could feel the occlumency shield failing from emotions overwhelming him. Before anyone could say anything the castle shook and he could feel the ward of Hogwarts getting hit.

Looking outside he could see Tom waving his wand towards the castle. He knew that the battle was here. He told the defenders to use lethal force like reductos, bonebreakers, and bombarding hex. Before long he saw the wards falling and three giants running towards them. He conjured six metallic javelins of about six feet long and banished them towards them. The three of them fell in that attack. He saw that the professors were doing that and used a firestorm spell to fight the acromantulas.

He could see about hundreds of death eaters trying to enter but before they could attack him along with others, they fired bonebreakers and felled many of them. He could see the battle raging around him. The battle at Hogwarts continued for an endless time and he was tired of fighting.

He knew that it was time to end the fight and went straight to Voldemort where he saw him fighting five Aurors at the same time. As he neared, Tom as if sensing him, turned towards him and ended the fight with a fire whip that decapitated all five of them. All fighting around them stopped and looked at the leaders circling. Before Tom could open his mouth Harry fired a cutting curse at him. Then for about fifteen minutes, they exchanged spells.

Harry never fought anyone with the caliber of Voldemort and despite himself was in awe of the skill of Tom. He knew that he wouldn't win this duel and took the elder wand from his holster. Like in the graveyard he fired a disarming charm and Voldemort fired a killing curse that met each other and started a tug of war of magical power. Slowly the disarming curse went towards Voldemort and disarmed him and at the same time hit him with his killing curse. Tom fell dead.

He could feel the disbelieving eyes of others. But when he turned he saw a cloud of black smoke rising from Tom's body like in his first year. Before he could do anything the smoke floated forwards to him, fastly. It went through his chest and he felt like his head was exploding. He could feel the pressure of Voldemort in his mind and it took all of his willpower to throw away the possession of Voldemort.

In his mind, he could see the black cloud in the corner expanding and trying to control his mind but he pushed them out as far as he could with all his power. When it got out he could see a cloud of black smoke coming out from his forehead. Then he saw countless memories from his perspective and knowledge about dark arts, mind magic, rituals, etc… when it flashed in his eyes he fell unconsciously. The only thing he saw before falling was the cloud of black smoke floating outside Hogwarts too far away.

When he woke up the next time it was in the hospital wing. He looked around and saw a few people who were. When he woke up everybody looked at him and rushed towards him. From what he could gather from them it had been about two weeks since the duel. While many death eaters had been captured, many of them escaped. The Lestranges were alive, as were Lucius and Dolohov.

Many members of the order and light side were also dead. Percy Weasley, Hestia Jones, Dedalus Diggles, Amos Diggory, Remus and Nymphadora Lupin, etc… died in the battle.

It was later when he was out of Hogwarts before anyone could find him that he went straight to his manor. For a well-earned rest. It was later he knew that the Weasley twins were also dead. It was at the funeral of the Weasley twins that the friendship between the Golden trio was ended.

Ron accused him of being an idiot and not destroying all Horcrux and trying to kill Voldemort. Hermione was also at Ron's side supporting him. He felt so awful blaming himself and didn't face other Weasleys before going back to his manor.

After one month the ministry with Kingsley as minister tried every captured death eater. At a private trial with Snape, he learned most of the potion master's dirty secrets. How he was friends with his mother and scared other boys who tried to ask out his mother. He also bullied other students behind Lily's back. After the engagement of his parents, in often the battles between order and death eaters, Snape tried to kill James by cursing on his back, only saved by Sirius.

Snape plans to beg for the life of his mother and when his mother will be heartbroken at the death of her husband and son, consoling and seducing his mother at such an emotional stage. The fact that the Headmaster also knew this only made his hate for Dumbledore increase. By getting the memories of Tom knew that to gain the Dark Mark of his inner circle the death eater should have to murder torture and rape someone made his temper to another level.

Snape was tossed into the Azkaban. After returning to his manor he began to train far harder than before. Using as much as time training his mind, magic, and body he became more powerful than before. Like his former headmaster and Voldemort, he became more proficient in silent and motionless casting. He studied Battle magick battle transfiguration etc... He became a master in both occlumency and legilimency. He could also do passive legilimency like both Voldemort and dumbledore.

After about six months of his self-isolation and training, he became very powerful and was confident that he could even take the likes of Moody and Kingsley together. It was at that time death eaters started to attack again. This gorilla warfare continued for four months. Most of the time when he and others come, the death eaters start to retreat. He was frustrated. After one year of Voldemort's retreat, he came back with another body more powerful than before. After two of his direct attacks, he attacked Hogsmeade at Hogwarts weekend.

When he arrived he saw about thirty children that belonged to all houses except Slytherin were killed and placed like a trophy with a spear in their abdomen. It was when he fought Voldemort again. Even with his new knowledge and the power of his training past year, he was almost defeated. It was only luck that he was not killed.

Many of the dark curses were not one he recognized even with Voldemort's memory. At the arrival of order members, Voldemort ran away. At the scene of the dead students, something in Harry explodes. He killed all the captured death eaters in front of order members and the ministry.

Many of Dumbledore's supporters started to oppose him for not giving Death eaters a second chance. He wanted to curse them for their argument but didn't. He just told Kingsley he will be back when he is ready and went back to his manor and called for Morgana and pleaded with her to make him her apprentice. When he was accepted he was in total isolation from the world for four years.

He studied wandless magic from Morgana, which was a lot different than expected. He thought that he would be studying hexes and curses but for about three months Morgana taught him to feel and control magic using his hand. He had levitated about 27 huge rocks in different directions at each time for about four hours with the right hand while controlling 73 feathers like the rocks with the left hand and vice versa for three times for Morgana to approve his control attunement and power in magic.

He also learned rituals which he was truly apprehensive about after witnessing the resurrection of Voldemort. Using phoenix tears and a Hebridian Golden dragon heartstring in a ritual, he gained his full health, which was stunned due to malnutrition of Dursleys and perfect eyesight was gained using this ritual. He did some rituals which helped in increasing his controls and attunement of magic.

By the end of his training, he was a master in almost all types of battle magick, mind arts, dark arts, elemental magick, rituals, wards, soul magic, blood magic, illusion magic, etc… one thing that surprised him was that at the ending of his training his magick was so in control that for spells even colors were not present. He could cast without motion by just pointing to an object; he could raise it by thinking and the same applied to his wandless magic.

Using wandless magic, if he wanted to stun someone he would be stunned. No red-colored spell would travel from his wand to the target. Some of his tricks with magic were not even explainable. He just wields his magic and tries to use it as he wants, not spell, not a motion, no arithmancy, just devastating results.

After his training of four years he looked into the mirror, the scrawny and small-looking boy was replaced by a 6'1 feet tall man with packs of muscles and scars he gained during his training. He was also trained in knife and sword fights during his training. While not skillful as a knight, he was not a slouch either. He was also trained in politics, able to turn a man's word against him and using half-truths as answers. Unfortunately, his holy wand started to feel disconnected to him. So he decided to buy a new one. The first thing he did was go to Hogwarts.

When he reached it, the castle was abandoned and the wards were broken not useful. He went straight to the chamber of secrets and took all of the basilisk remains and went straight to Gringotts, which was surprisingly still working. The alley was almost destroyed and abandoned.

He gave them most of the basilisk skin and meat and poison while took a small amount of skin to make battle robes and poison to use on his knives. For the meat and skin, goblins agreed to make him three knives and two swords of high quality. He used the remaining skin and built himself a basilisk battle robe. He also crafted a new wand with a core of powdered basilisk tooth and Ebony wood. The wand was perfect for him.

For the next few weeks, he tried to find information about war after his disappearance. Voldemort was fighting the ministry for one year then took a break from war. Students were returned to their homes. The Hogwarts castle was abandoned due to the breaking of wards. Voldemort attacked the castle two more times and no casualties happened. The ministry abandoned their prisoner policy after the death of Molly Weasley at the hands of Snape, who escaped Azkaban.

After one year of the war, for almost two months no battle happened. But after these two months, the next hit was done in Portugal then later Italy, France, and the war spread to the continent. He was later then faced by a group of the most powerful wizards on the continent; he was defeated then retreated. The war took a turn after he opened the portal of demons in a battle when he was sure he would die. The demons killed many wizards of both sides without mercy.

Order of Phoenix became a worldwide organization under Kingsley, Ronald, and Minerva McGonagall. They became leaders of the resistance against Voldemort's forces. Hermione Weasley, the wife of Ronald Weasley, became the researcher among the order.

For two weeks in his family manor, he didn't leave training for all his worth when a Patronus of Kingsley came and asked him for help in Hogwarts. He just tried to apparate then encountered an anti-apparition ward. He dug a hole in the ward and apparated there. He saw a lot of people with the order of Phoenix and other people standoff with about 25 death eaters and 17 demons. He apparated straight in front of the order.

Kingsley was against meeting at Hogwarts against Voldemort's war. With him were several members of the order and people from other countries. Emmanuel Beurox, a French duelist, was the most powerful wizard at their side right now. He was not powerful like Voldemort but powerful enough to stop his inner circle. The meeting was ambushed by death eaters and demons. He fired a Patronus to Potter. He could feel others disbelievingly looking at him.

Potter was not seen for four years. The blame was on several order members who agreed with Dumbledore's policy of second chances. They rallied against Potter, their most powerful wizard at wartime. After his disappearance, he has sent several Patronus to Potter at the time of battles. After a couple of times when he failed to make an appearance, the order began to lose hope of his assistance. But every time before a battle he will always send a Patronus message to Potter.

For the first time in the war, Kingsley felt frightened. He didn't know how Voldemort gained the intel about the meeting. They all veiled their wands to fight to their death. But before they could fire a figure of six-foot completely covered in black battle robes stood in front of them. Then it was a bloodbath, the figure moved his wand gracefully before demons and death eaters died by getting impaled in a non-existent spear and magic never heard before. After six-minute of one-sided battle, the figure looked straight at them, when he caught the familiar shade of green eyes with a much darker shade of color.

After four years they saw Harry potter but he was not the boy they remembered. It was a man, a ruthless and very powerful man. His gaze itself held power that even Dumbledore didn't have. For another year the war continued like this.

Harry faced Tom 7 times between this time. In every battle he defeated Tom. At last, Voldemort was even afraid of him. People looked up to him. The most powerful wizard since Merlin himself. He used magic unheard of. He could use magic in his imagination. It was one month ago when Voldemort used his ace. He summoned the daemon king. The king slaughtered all the opposition. Even Voldemort looked at the King in fear. He could not control the king. The daemon killed most of his and his enemy army.

When Tom fled, Harry appeared and started fighting him; he was on the brink of his magical exhaustion when he was able to kill the King. he used all of his tick to kill the daemon, at last, he conjured 7 dragons of iron and enchanted it to fight the Daemon. Only Merlin before him could do the Battle enchanting. Even the dragons could only hold off the King for some time.

When all the dragon was destroyed he used a spell of light and dark arts that was not used before. It used most of his magic before it tore a hole in the heart of the king. First time in five years he used the elder wand which worked in its own accord.

After it, Voldemort was sure he couldn't rule this world when he tried to flee to another dimension. Harry, who woke up after his exhaustion, interfered in his ritual to the travel and dueled the demons and death eaters, at last Voldemort himself in a duel that made the village destroy.

The spectators who watched the duel at a great distance could only watch in awe as the darkest wizard since Morgana LeFay duel, the most powerful wizard since merlin. Only some members in resistance to light were alive since the arrival of the King. They watched as their leader beheaded his enemy after he was defeated with a curse.

Harry, who was injured in the duel could only look around; the ritual was a horrific one. Sacrificial rituals were one he hated. He was a master in ritual dome many on himself to help to control his mind, magic, and body. 7 women were beheaded in the shape of a star and several runes could be seen in the star. He was in the center of the star. Before he could stop blood from his chest, which had a long gash, dropped in the center and the star began to glow in white.

He could feel the wand thrum in power. When he looked at the elder wand it was also glowing. He could feel the resurrection stone with him glowing and his father's cloak, he wore as a second robe body glowing. He felt a short pain in his chest when he looked at it. The wound was healed and at the position of the heart was the symbol of deathly hallows.

Before he could move, the bright light that made his eyes ache surrounded himself, and he could feel himself moving before he looked in complete darkness… After a moment a grey room appeared in front of him. When he went inside the room it was empty. Then he heard a beautiful feminine voice from behind.

"Master…"

This is my first time writing. I hope you will like this story. This story will not be a fan of Snape. Who wants to read the Snape praising story should not read this one. I will try to decrease the Bashing of Dumbledore, Weasleys, and Granger. There are a lot of grammar and spelling mistakes. I hope you will forgive me for that.
