"Think about this: what is the most exciting thing that can happen on TV, or in movies, or in real life? Somebody has a gun. That's why I always start with a gun, because you can't stop it, you just can't." Michael Scott, The Office 02x09.
Every time I do a random writing I think of this quote. Why? Well, because, for me, the most exciting thing to ever happen in a TV show or movie, or even a book (not in real life, oh no), is someone kidnapped or taken hostage, or even being pursued by an enemy. I love TV series like Bone, Person of Interest, Psych, Flashpoint, etc; movies like Along Came a Spider, Die Hard, Stolen, The Mummy (Brendan Fraser) and so much more. It really gets my heart racing and I just get generally excited, I don't know why. Every time I do wonder why, however, I recall this quote and know that Michael Scott probably feels the same way when a gun pops into the picture.
Yeah, I'm connecting to a fictional character on a weird level...
Anyways, the point is, when I'm in a downward emotional spiral, bored, or am obsessed with certain TV shows/Movie and/or characters, I write out these little stories to keep myself occupied and motivated. These are all bits of stories I have daydreamed out with characters I have created and just never written the story for. I wanted to post them here, for anyone else who might enjoy something like this, and it helps me get my writing out there and build up my writing confidence. Even if no one reads this, I'm just happy that I can get it out there.
I'll include details of what the story is, who the characters are, and what the plot is about before the story bit starts. This is all just for fun, and I hope that you enjoy these little bits I hope to expand on and finish one day. Please Read and Review. Hopefully I can one day finish the story properly.
