A/N: Okay, so...I never know how to start these, lol

Hi! My name is Rocket; you may recognize me, but you may not. Depends on how long you've been active in the fandom, tbh. I've made several attempts at a Total Drama SYOC in the past (all of them fails), but I'd like to take one final, final stab at it. I reliably get the itch to try another one every six months or so, and that itch has been growing a lot recently so...why not, right?

Before we get to the app though, there's one thing you should keep in mind. Namely, this is a side project. My main focus writing-wise is and always will be my Power Rangers fic, and this is just a side story I'll work on whenever I want/need a break from that story. I am determined to finish this fic as well, but I won't be holding to any sort of an update schedule so if you're expecting weekly or even monthly uploads, probably don't submit an OC. I don't want to disappoint or potentially mislead you.

Anyway, that's all I've really got to say. I'm gonna lay down a few quick ground rules, and then I'll let you guys get to that app!

1.) I'll only be accepting one character per person. No buts, no exceptions. If your first submission gets rejected, you are more than welcome to submit another character and try again, but once I accept an OC from you, that's it. There are only going to be twelve slots available (the final cast will be comprised of fourteen characters, two of which will be my own), and I want everyone to have a fair chance of getting in.

2.) I will only be accepting characters submitted via the PM function; any characters submitted through reviews will be ignored. When you do submit your character, make the subject of the PM "Total Drama Sleepover – (Insert Character Name Here)", that way I can easily sort through them all when trying to select characters.

3.) Characters submitted to this SYOC must use the application provided below. Any characters using an older app from another story will not be considered.

4.) Be original. You're allowed to submit an OC that's been used in previous stories, but I'd prefer if they haven't been used a million times and I flatout will not accept them if they're super generic or if they're an obvious clone of an existing Total Drama character.

5.) Please do not complain if your character is not accepted. If I reject your character, it's nothing personal, I just don't have any interest in writing them or don't think they'll gel well with the rest of the cast. Remember, they're not the only character in the story, and the OCs chosen will be chosen with the rest of the cast in mind. If I don't think they'll play off the other characters very well, I'll most likely not accept them. Again though, it's nothing personal, and as stated in an earlier rule you are more than welcome to submit more characters if I tell you your first character won't be used.

6.) Do not constantly PM me demanding new chapters and ESPECIALLY do not review my other fics that have nothing to do with this one demanding to know why I'm updating those projects and not this one. I've had really bad experiences in the past with people reviewing totally unrelated projects of mine to try and guilt me into updating my SYOCs instead, and it's very off-putting. I've already made it pretty clear that this is a side project and won't adhere to any sort of schedule, so you should really be keeping that in mind if/when you submit a character anyway.

7.) Please do not complain if/when your OC is eliminated. Again, it's nothing personal, it's just how it goes. Not every character can make it far and there can only be one winner. (Oh, and to ease any potential worries, I'm just gonna go on record now and assure you that neither of my two OCs will win or be finalists. At the most, they'll make it post-merge. It's just not fair for them to win or be finalists since they're mine.)

8.) Above all else, just have fun. This is supposed to be a fun little side project to help me blow off some steam and also just take a break from my other, more action-oriented stories, and I'm really hoping it'll be a fun distraction for you as well. Please do not take this too seriously, it'll defeat the entire purpose and I'd hate that because I'm writing this so that you can be entertained. That's the entire goal here.

No partial cast lists here, that makes the chapter list look really sloppy imo and also bites me in the ass in the event that I decide to make changes.
