2 months after the 2nd giant wars in mount Olympus award ceremony (Greek to be easy for me) (trials of Apollo never happened)

3rd person

"Jason, you will be the first to be rewarded" Zeus said "We offer you minor godhood with domains of air, temples*, and heroes.*"

Jason accepted with a look at Piper. He was struck by a beam of sky blue light. He walked to his fathers throne and sat at the foot of the throne.

"Piper!" Aphrodite called " We offer you minor godhood with domains of romantic love, charm-speak, and heroes.

She accepted, was hit with a beam of pink light and sat at the foot of her mothers throne.

"Percy" Poseidon said "We offer you minor godhood with domai-"

"No" Percy said

"You dare refuse our offer again?"Zeus said angrily but after seeing the look on his brothers face he paled and said "Okay, I suppose you have something else to ask of us?

"I do" said Percy "I want Hades and Hestia to have their thrones on the counsel back and for the Peaceful titans and half titans and giants and other peaceful entities to be let free from whatever prison or service they are in."

His aunt and uncle both looked at him with grateful looks as two thrones rose on either side of the room. One was made of obsidian, skulls, and souls. The other was made of lightly glowing embers. They sat on their thrones shooting him another grateful look. Then he sat at the foot of his fathers throne

"Annabeth" Athena said "We offer you minor godhood with domains of architecture, cleverness, and heroes"

She looked at Percy with a conflicted look on her face "... Sorry Percy, I accept" she said before she was hit with a gray beam of light. Percy looked devastated after she accepted but halfway understood why. It was her lifelong dream but he was still completely blindsided.

Frank and Hazel had their curses lifted. Leo became a minor god with domains of engineering and heroes. Reyna became a minor goddess with domains of leadership, the legion and heroes. Nico became a minor god of ghosts and heroes.

1st person (Percy)

After my Wise Girl accepted godhood I didn't understand much else after that, my head was buzzing. I don't understand why she did that, I mean it was her dream, but still, I thought she loved me more than that. I heard my friends rewards and smiled for them but I was sure that they could tell that it pained me.

3rd person

After the awards ceremony Zeus said "We're done. Let's party!" After he said that the thrones all slid into the floor, the doors opened and minor gods began streaming in.

1st person (Percy)

After Zeus started the party, 4 of the Olympians approached me. Artemis, Athena, Hestia, and Posidon approached me. My dad spoke first. "Son, I am sorry about what happened with Annabeth."

"As am I, after you declined godhood, I fully expected her to decline as well" Athena said. The rest of the gods around me agreed with her and shook their heads disappointed in her. Through my pain, I jokingly said "Wait a second... did Athena just admit she was wrong?!" and pretended to be surprised.

I heard someone calling me from across the room, I looked and saw Her, Annabeth was standing there waving me over. I made to walk over to her, but Artemis of all people stopped me. She said "Why do you think me, Athena, and Hestia came over here?"

Those lines stopped me just as much as her hand "I don't know, maybe to say sorry about Annabeth?"

"No Percy, we came to bless you" Athena said "But Annabeth doing that didn't hurt."

They each gave me their blessing, Athena's made me smarter (who woulda guessed?), Artemis gave me immortality like her hunters and the ability to be able to hit a target from 10 feet with a bow, Hestia made me her champion and gave me fire powers just as strong as my water powers were and also the power to summon homemade food,* and Posidon made my water powers stronger. "Now you can go talk to her my" dad said sarcastically while I was still shocked from the fact that multiple gods were blessing me, but that snapped me out of it. I turned around and started walking over to Annabeth.

*the domain of heroes lets them interfere more than the other gods.

*Fire: control, traveling, and summoning.

so how should the Annabeth conversation be? Angry and betrayed? Forgiving? I will take votes on 2nd chapter.
