It was a nice sunny day somewhere in the Pacific Ocean when the camera turned on, with the titular host made infamous by Total Drama standing on a sandy beach with a pair of sunglasses on. "Yo! What's up television audiences! You're probably paying 15 bucks a month just to watch this, and we're spreading these episodes out, so thanks for the dough! I'm your host, Chris McLean, and you may be wondering where we are at! Fear not, all will soon be explained!" Chris introduced himself, starting to walk inland from the beach.
The camera panned out a bit, showing more of the island which already looked well populated. Chris walked down a dirt path once he left the beach, still looking at the camera. "So here's the deal, we're trying to gather up some new fresh faces on a new location that isn't totally in the wild. Our producers booked this island here, a tropical resort island known for all the various sports and activities to take part in. Most come here for a sweet vacation, but our contestants will stay be coming here to compete full time!" Chris stopped in front of a street, letting a car pass by before he kept walking.
Chris continued to walk down the dirt path, with a cycler riding past him. "It'll be a suntastic, funtastic, and paintastic summer for these teens as they duke it out for one, million, dollars! Three teams, one massive vacation island, this is gonna be a thrilling season for sure! But just how are we going to get our contestants? That's where you come in!" Chris pointed at the camera, representing the viewer.
"If you think you'll be entertaining enough to net us some good ratings, sign up at our official website, with your parents' permission of course. On top of our newcomers, we'll also be bringing back six veterans to capitalize on that sweet nostalgia! Who are they? Well you saw the preview when you were browsing the show, so you already have your answer there. No use hiding that. So what are you waiting for? Sign up today, and we'll see you on Total, Drama, Wuhu Island!" the camera panned further out with the last few words, showing off more of the island before finally giving a full view of Wuhu Island, from the lighthouse all the way to the edge of the beach.
Hello all people of Fanfiction! This is my first SYOC, or rather just my first fic in general! The announcement of Total Drama returning has gotten me super hyped, so I wanted to write a fic to put that hype to good use! I'm sure if you've been a part of this community for long enough, you know how SYOCs go. Just fill in the application on my profile, send it to me in a PM, and we'll go from there! If you don't know what Wuhu Island is, go play Wii Sports Resort or just look it up. I think it's a cool location, and I'm looking forward to using it this season! Hopefully I get some great contestants to work with, so I'll see you all when I've got my cast!

2. Please don't get mad if your OC leaves early. Someone has to go early, just part of TD.
3. Try to include all the information on the application, since it's all really important for me to know.
4. This won't be a first come first serve case, so feel free to take more time to ensure that your character is as good as they can be.
5. Be creative! I'm really looking for some unique contestants that aren't directly comparable to canon contestants (and especially the returnees)
