Hello everybody!

This is the first time that I write something about Marvel, this is an idea that I have been thinking about for a long time.

My first language is not English, so any comment you want to comment on is helpful.

Everyone was staring at nothing while flying in the quinjet, since the Ultron fiasco had started it seemed that everything was going from bad to worse. And when things seemed that they could not get worse now they were adrift having to keep a low profile so that Ultron does not find them and thus be able to create a plan to save the planet.

Steve raised his head and looked at Nat, he realized that she was lost somewhere in his mind, then he looked to the side and saw Clint driving the quinjet, he was turning his back on them so there was no way of knowing what was happening by his head. Steve watched as Tony sighed and got up from the seat with a determined look on his face, he saw how he approached Clint resting a hand on his shoulder trying to be reassuring as he spoke so softly that not even Steve's super ear could hear him. What he was saying, he saw Clint tense his whole body for whatever Tony said to him and then relax and nod his head, after looking at each other once more Tony sighed and sat on the floor next to him while looking at the floor.

Clint after a few moments cleared his throat, drawing everyone's attention.

"I have a place where we can go"

Steve saw Nat leave her mind and looked at Clint concerned, Steve could know exactly what she was going through Nat's head: "Are you sure?" She saw Clint nod his head subtly, if he hadn't been paying attention he wouldn't have noticed, and seeing him Nat relaxed his whole body and smiled slightly.

"Where?" Steve said coming out of his stupor.

"It's a safe place, once we arrive they will find out"

Bruce looked at Clint and nodded. "It's fine for me"

The rest of the trip was spent in silence, each lost in different memories, fears, or worries. After a few hours, Clint spoke again.

"We are arriving"

Steve stood up and looked out the window, saw a farm in the middle of nowhere, turned to look at his teammates, and saw Nat smile softly, so they decided to calm down.

Quinjet softly landed on the grass and the ramps opened, Tony and Clint were the first to go down as if they already knew the way by heart, Nat was supported by them while they helped her walk and last were Bruce, Thor, and Steve.

They went upstairs and Thor made up his mind to speak.

"Where we are?"

Tony looked at everything very carefully and his lips curved slightly.

"A refuge"

Clint looked at them and sighed.

"I hope so"

Once inside everyone looked inside, Steve realized that it was an ordinary house.

"Laura? I'm here!" Clint said walking into the living room. Once there, they see a pregnant woman enter, looking at everyone with concern.

"I don't come alone," Clint said as he went to hug Laura. Steve looked at everything very carefully.

"Gentlemen, this is Laura" he smiles at them kindly. "My sister"

"Yes, I know all of you"

Steve stiffens when footsteps are heard running upstairs and down the stairs, a second later two kids rush into the living room.

"Papa!" The two children are heard at the same time as Clint picks them up and hugs them.

Tony and Nat smile softly and Steve looked around confused as he was looking for any reference to Clint's wife, Tony laughed and looked at Steve.

"Those are little agents" he whispered, amused.

The children seem to have heard him as they turn and run towards him.

"Daddy!" Tony leaned down and hugged them tightly.

"Children, I missed you very much," he said in their ear.

The children moved away from a little and looked at their parents.

"Did Aunt Nat come with you?"

Nat looked up and grinned as he approached them.

"Give her a hug and you'll know" Lila runs to Nat and hugs her.

Steve looked at them confused but then turned to look at Laura.

"Sorry for arriving like this"

"Don't worry, the kids missed their parents" Laura said looking at Tony and Clint.

Tony looked at them and smiled softly. "We would have called earlier but everything happened very quickly"

Laura looked at them and smiled slightly. "At least you are taking those vacations that they have been saying for months"

Tony laughed out loud and walked over to Laura to hug her.

"Hello, sister-in-law." He placed her hand on her stomach. "How is the new member of the family?"

Nat raised his head and stared at them "He?"

Clint smirked and nodded. "A boy, Nathaniel James Barton"

Nat smiled widely "It's not Natasha but he's close"

Steve and Thor looked all confused, Laura noticed and smiled.

"Lila, Cooper let's set the table"

The children began to complain.

"Lila, Cooper listen to your aunt," Tony said looking at them seriously. Both children nodded and went to the kitchen.

Steve cleared his throat and Bruce raised an eyebrow as he pointed at Clint and Tony.

"How did this happen?"

Clint grinned and leaned closer to Tony as he put an arm around his shoulders.

"Short story or long story?"

Nat smiled and looked at everyone "I don't think there is time for a long story"

Tony sighs but is smiling "We never have time for the long story, the only one who wants to hear it is Lila"

Clint smiled and kissed Tony's cheek. "Easy, I was 20 years old and Tony was 22, I was on a mission for Shield in which I met him, at first it was just sex but we ended up falling in love, a few years after we were engaged, we were the second couple to get married as soon as the equality marriage was legalized" Clint kissed Tony and smiled softly at him.

"Along the way, we decided to have children. Laura likes being an aunt but she doesn't want to be a mother, so she helped us fulfill our dream of starting a family. We always kept it a secret for the kids and Clint's work, over time we got used to it. "Tony looked at Clint and smiled softly.

"And I don't know why we didn't say anything to you, it just didn't happen. Each of us was with our problems, and we were going to tell you once this is over but with Tony, we made the decision to resign from the Avengers, we are grown up and we want to see our children grow up, we do not want to miss anything else important "Clint looked at you all seriously" So I hope you understand all this "

Steve was opening his mouth to respond when Nat got ahead of him and hugged them both.

"It's the best decision you could have made" Nat looked at the other avengers, daring them to contradict her "The kids will be happy when they find out"

Tony grinned widely and nodded. "We want to surprise them, once we are retired"

"Yes, once we get settled in the house we are going to tell them the truth"

Nat hugged them again and then walked away from her. Bruce grinned at them.

"I'm very happy for you" He looked at Tony "Tony, you deserve to be happy"

"I am, when I am with my family I am happy"

Thor looked at them and smiled slightly.

"You have a nice family, companions. I'm glad for you".

They all looked at Steve expectantly.

"I am surprised but I am happy and I hope that once you retire you will continue talking to us"

Tony smiled at him and started to walk away towards the kitchen "Take it for granted, you're not going to get rid of us so easily"

"Papa, Daddy, it's lunch." Clint and Tony smiled widely and started to go to the kitchen, shortly after the rest of the avengers followed. When they had to leave the farm to be able to fight Ultron, everyone felt more relaxed, as if a weight had been lifted from their shoulders.
