Have I gone back to the past?

Kakashi POV:

It was all over for me...

My whole life passed before my eyes when I felt Sasuke's sword crash into me and go through my chest, feeling the horrible taste of Blood drain from my mouth right after.

(When did things get this far ?) wondered falling onto the hard concrete floor on which my other students and I were battling Sasuke Uchiha.

A tear leaked from my eye as I watched Sakura and Naruto's body stretched out on the floor, lifeless.

Slowly...I closed my eyes, just waiting to be taken away by the mistress to death.

Maybe if I had done more...

I woke up to the glare of the sun hitting my face. I opened my eyes slowly getting used to the light.

I realized I was lying in a clearing...

( Am I in heaven? ) I asked myself looking at the cloud-filled sky surrounded by the leaves of the trees above me

I heard a noise ahead, got up and started walking in the direction the sounds were guiding me.

It couldn't be,...my village...was sam and safe and whole.

I walked around, confused. When I suddenly felt something small bumping against my legs.

I looked down seeing….Sasuke?

But...now he looked no less than 9 years old!

I rubbed my eyes, that couldn't be true. I looked down again seeing Sasuke still looking at me with a guilty look on his face.

Sorry young man! He asked gently before running back.

I looked around in awe. seeing several other well-known children running around. did I go back to the past?

But how is this possible? so...it means that everything I've experienced in the last 8 years hasn't happened yet!

There's only one way to find out!! I said to myself as I ran towards the old building where I lived.

If I'm really back in the past, the key should be under the potted plant by the door.

I stopped in front of my old apartment, the key was right there. I went in seeing everything the same way I used to leave.

I passed in front of a mirror seeing my reflection, I ran my fingers over my face I looked so much younger now.

at least those wrinkles are gone too! I said fun.

I walked over to the calendar I left on the table.

My eyes widened as I realized the day the date set.

It was the same day the Uchiha clan had been exterminated long ago! So that meant that all of that would happen tonight!!

At this point, I was running towards the tower of the third Hogake.

If I told him about what Itachi would do to the clan, maybe he would find a way to stop the massacre.

I stopped at the door, I was shaking a little from adrenaline. The entire future of a clan was now in my hands, And I could stop it.

I was about to open the door when I heard the voice of the third Hogake talking to someone.

Understand Itachi...if you don't do this...the ambu ninjas will do this job. I understand Hokage-Sama! Said Itachi kneeling. In front of the man. But I have a condition! The 13 year old boy said, daring to stand up and look the man in the eye.

I won't take Sasuke's life... I won't kill my little brother! Itachi said seriously looking the man in the eye.

Right! Hiruzen replied simply.

Kakashi POV

I was shocked.

So that was all orders from the third Hokage? But what did the Uchiha do for the Hokage-Sama to have to reach such a drastic point as having to decimate an entire clan?

I heard footsteps towards the door and hurried out of there soon.

There was nothing I could do to change the fate of that poor family...
