The last thing he expected to see was Daisuke standing at his front door on a stormy night.

"I'm heading home for the day. You guys take care." Haru stretched in his chair and stood up from his desk. Saeki called after him as he walked towards the door.

"Haru, don't forget to hunker down for the storm tonight! I hear it's gonna be bad." she chimed.

"I heard. Storms don't really bother me," he put his coat on, "I'm sure it'll all be fine. See you guys Monday." he waved and headed out the door.

First stop was for groceries. He needed something to cook tonight. He thought about going simple, but he didn't want to make another trip later for more groceries. He decided to get everything he needed in case the storm really did get bad. He grabbed some raw salmon and seasoning. Teriyaki Salmon was the chosen dish for tonight.

It was getting windy outside as he walked down the sidewalk with his few grocery bags. He glanced at a black car that passed by and was instantly reminded of a certain detective.

Daisuke hadn't been seen for about a week due to an injury he'd received on an earlier assignment when he was with Haru. He had been shot in the shoulder twice after a reckless attempt at apprehending someone who he didn't realize had a weapon up their sleeve. Clearly.

Haru hadn't seen that much blood in a long time. And the look of pain and distress in Daisuke's eyes was enough to make him keel over with him. They may not have gotten along very much in the beginning, but Haru did end up taking a liking to him. He felt the first few raindrops hit the top of his head and took that as his cue to speed up before the rain got worse.

He hurried into his house and wiped his shoes on the mat. He slid his coat off and hung it on the coat hanger. It was almost 7 in the evening, so he got started on dinner immediately. While leaving the salmon to thaw in the sink, he changed into some comfortable sweatpants and a t-shirt. The wind was audibly starting to pick up, and the rain started coming down harder. He began to chop some vegetables when he heard a knock at his door. He set his knife down, wondering who would come knocking during a storm. He left the kitchen and unlocked his front door, opening it somewhat hesitantly.

The last thing he expected to see was Daisuke standing at his front door on a stormy night.

"Daisuke? What are you doing here?" he asked with pure surprise. He realized the man in front of him was dripping wet, so he quickly stepped aside to let him in. "Come on, before the rain gets any worse." Daisuke entered, shrugging his coat off and handing it to Haru. Some strands of hair hung in his face, dripping water down his cheek and on his shirt. Haru noticed his arm wasn't in a cast. It was most likely healed over completely thanks to all the technology he has access to.

"I'm going to stay here for tonight." said Daisuke, appearing expressionless as usual.

"Mind telling me why? I wasn't exactly expecting visitors tonight.'' He hung Daisuke's coat on the coat hanger with his own.

"Doesn't matter." he took his shoes off and headed for the shower. Haru rolled his eyes in annoyance, now knowing he had to cook for two. However, a part of him was concerned ever so slightly for Daisuke's sudden appearance. He hoped nothing bad had happened.

He put his thoughts aside as he went into the kitchen to finish cutting up the vegetables and washing more for Daisuke's portion. After about fifteen minutes, Daisuke entered the kitchen wearing a pair of Haru's sweatpants and a random shirt that he pulled from a drawer. Haru glanced up from the stove and raised a brow.

"Nice clothes," he said sarcastically. Daisuke said nothing and wandered over to the stove and peered into the pan. Haru smiled proudly. "Smells good, doesn't it? It's salmon teriyaki."

"It smells decent. I don't think I've tried it this way before. Is it another 'Kato House Special'?" he asked. A large thunderclap erupted outside, causing the lights to flicker momentarily. Both of them looked up at the lights as they did so.

"Wow, it really is getting bad. I hope I don't lose power." said Haru, turning his stove on low and covering the pot to simmer. He glanced at Daisuke, who was quiet as usual. "Oi, does Suzue know you're here?"

"No, and she doesn't need to," he said.

"What about the rest of your household?"

"They don't know."

"I'm sure they're all very worried," said Haru. Daisuke said nothing and went into the living room. Haru heard the TV turn on a few moments later. This was probably the third time Daisuke had ever been in his home, and the second time he'd ever stayed the night. Haru got some bowls down from the cabinet and turned the stove off, serving each one from the pan. He brought the two bowls into the living room with a pair of chopsticks for both of them.

Daisuke accepted the bowl from him as Haru joined him in watching TV. After a minute, Haru perked up.

"This reminds me," he set his bowl down and disappeared into the kitchen. He came back a minute later with a half empty bottle of wine, some cups and a grin on his face. "remember this?"

"Is it good?" asked Daisuke. Haru set it down in front of him.

"It's the same wine from the first time you were here." He opened the bottle and poured some in their cups.

After no longer than twenty minutes, Haru was rambling on about his pet peeves and things he wished he could change. Daisuke was quiet, and appeared to be falling asleep. Haru eventually calmed down after a few more minutes and felt himself growing tired as well.

Haru awoke to a loud thunder crash that jolted his body out of sleep. He rubbed his eyes and sat up, realizing he had fallen asleep in his living room. The lights were out, and he could barely see Daisuke dozing on the floor a few feet away from him. He stood up and reached around for the empty bowls and cups to go place in the sink. He made his way through the dark room, hoping his power would be back on in the morning. The rain crashed loudly against his windows, and he was surprised he managed to sleep through any of it. After making his way back into the living room, he felt his foot accidentally kick Daisuke softly in the back. Daisuke mumbled quietly in his sleep and shifted a little.

"Hey, get up. You can sleep in my bed. It's big enough for two." he nudged him again with his foot. It took a few tries, but eventually he woke up. He sleepily followed Haru into his room as the lightning flashed, offering temporary light. Haru yawned and crawled into his bed, trying to make himself sleep with all the loud noise from outside. Daisuke paused for a moment, standing over his bed. He finally got in, keeping to his side and pulling the covers to warm his body. Haru closed his eyes and relaxed. "Better than sleeping in a tub, right?"

"Not really." replied Daisuke, getting comfortable. The thunder made an especially loud crash, causing them both to open their eyes and glance towards the window.

"I'm never gonna sleep through this. It's impossible." groaned Haru.

-1:00 AM

About an hour later Haru was jolted awake by yet another fierce crash. His eyebrow twitched, and he buried his face deeper into the warmth in front of him. He squeezed his pillow tighter, pulling it closer to his chest. Until he felt his pillow breathing.

His eyes shot open, and it was then that he realized he had been spooning Daisuke for who knows how long, and that his face was currently buried in his neck. He felt his entire body go stiff, and as badly as he felt he should move away, he didn't.

He told his body to move, but for some reason he just..didn't want to. And he had no idea why. Maybe it was because he was already so warm and comfortable with Daisuke in his arms.

His heart skipped a beat when Daisuke let out a quiet groan. Haru could feel the younger man's stomach rising and falling softly with each breath he took, and was praying he wouldn't wake up. He eventually calmed down a bit, deciding it would be best to slowly pull away to avoid any awkward interactions. As he began pulling out his hand that rested against Daisuke's stomach and under his arm, he felt Daisuke grab it.

"Why are you moving?" he asked.

Haru froze at Daisuke's sudden question.

"Y-You're awake?"

"I pushed your arm away several times, but you kept forcing it back, so I left it. Either keep it there or move it, I'm trying to sleep."

"...S-Sorry." he spoke quietly, unsure of how to react. He decided to keep it there and slowly relaxed his arm, still hesitant and somewhat stiff. Daisuke didn't say anything, he just kept his back to him. The rain poured hard against the roof, drowning out the sound of Haru's racing heart.

"You're right." spoke Daisuke after a moment.

"About what?" asked Haru, still feeling a bit awkward.

"It's impossible to sleep through this rain." Daisuke started to shift over onto his back, so Haru hesitantly pulled his arm away and rested on his back as well. Lying side by side, he could feel his body tingling everywhere that Daisuke was pressed against, and his face was hot.

"Yeah. We're gonna be tired in the morning." said Haru quietly. He let out a soft, shaky breath and closed his eyes momentarily. After a minute, he rolled back onto his side where he was more comfortable only to find himself face to face with Daisuke. Haru's cheeks went red again from how close they were. Daisuke slowly opened his eyes and seemed a tad surprised himself. If they were any closer they'd be able to feel each other's breaths.

Neither of them moved. Haru couldn't say anything-or maybe he just didn't know what to say. His gaze dropped from Daisuke's eyes to look at his lips, then his chin, and then back at his lips. He found himself losing touch with reality as his mind wandered. He had to admit, while the younger man looked dashing with his hair back, having it down definitely suited him.

Haru slowly reached his hand up and placed it against Daisuke's cheek, surprising the both of them. Daisuke's eyes grew a bit wider, but he didn't move. Haru just searched his eyes and again, studied the details of his face.

He could suddenly feel a slight tickle on his upper lip. They had grown closer, and Daisuke's breath was gently gracing his lips.

Haru's thumb lightly stroked against his cheek, moving a few hairs behind his ear. At this point, they were only inches away from each other's faces, both gazing at the other's lips.

"Haru.." Daisuke spoke softly.

"Hm.." Haru hummed, his nose just about touching Daisuke's.

"What..are you.." his quiet voice trailed off as he felt his own lips begin to ache for contact. They closed their eyes just as their lips touched.

Haru slid his hand to the back of Daisuke's head and finally pulled him into a full kiss. They were both a little hesitant at first, but after a few seconds it all came naturally.

The stiffness faded away as their soft kisses turned into passionate ones. Haru's hand left the back of Daisuke's head and traveled down to his waist, pulling him closer. They shared an intense kiss until Haru moved over on top of Daisuke, pulling away to look down at him.

They both studied each other's faces, processing what they had just done and if it was okay. Neither of them said anything; they really didn't need to. After an intimate moment of eye contact, Haru could see that Daisuke was just as hooked as he was. He gently leaned down and placed his lips against Daisuke's neck, tenderly sucking.

Daisuke's breath hitched when Haru found the sweet spot on his neck, lightly biting and caressing it with his tongue. The contact became more intense, and Daisuke felt a burning sensation all over his neck and lower area. After a minute Haru pulled away, lightly panting from the small bit of exhilaration he'd just felt. He stared down hazily at Daisuke's face, unable to make out too much of his expression. He could see from the frequent lightning flashes that his face was red and his eyes somewhat dizzy with arousal. Daisuke reached his hand up and pulled Haru back down for another kiss, but after a second it was broken again by Haru.

"Daisuke," breathed Haru, hovering over him. "You're still drunk, I think."

"I'm not," said Daisuke in between breaths. Haru didn't anticipate any of this, so he didn't know whether or not to believe him. Daisuke could see his doubt. "I didn't drink as much as you." he said. Haru wavered, still unsure. After a few seconds, Daisuke reached his arm up again, this time gently pulling Haru back down. He parted his legs so Haru could have easier access to him, and their lips brushed together for a moment before connecting for a deeper and more intimate kiss. Daisuke placed his hands on Haru's back while Haru swirled his tongue around his.

Haru felt himself growing hard, unable to hide the intense throbbing that begged for contact. He grinded his hips against Daisuke's, which caused him to break the kiss as a quivering moan escaped his lips. He could feel Daisuke's erection through his sweatpants, and it turned him on even more. Haru caught his breath and planted his lips along Daisuke's jaw while his hand slid under the younger male's shirt. Daisuke turned his head to give Haru more room as he covered the entire side of his neck with hickies and lovebites.

Daisuke moved Haru's hand down from his side to the lining of his sweatpants, where Haru's fingers began to run playfully along his lower stomach. Daisuke squirmed against his touch, wanting much more than he was being given. Haru's lips left his neck as pulled away to look Daisuke in the eyes. His lips formed into a slight grin as he gazed down at the flushed male beneath him.

"Do you want more?" he asked. Daisuke's brow twitched, and he averted his gaze.

"What do you think?" his face reddened. Haru chuckled to himself and leaned down to give him a soft kiss. He sat up and started to take his shirt off. Daisuke sat up after him, his eyes trailing all over the toned man in front of him. He took his shirt off as well, tossing it off the side of the bed. He grabbed Haru by his chin and pulled him in for a kiss as thunder crashed and lightning lit up the bedroom.

Once again, Haru was back on top of Daisuke while his hand roamed freely along his body. He finally slid his hand under his sweatpants and began to stroke his erection, his lips curling into a grin as Daisuke's expression melted into a dazed, pleasured one.

He shakily let out a breath when Haru thumbed over his tip, causing his erection to twitch. Haru pulled his hand away and moved further down so he was face level with Daisuke's hips.

He pulled his pants down to reveal the younger male's erection. Daisuke blushed hard, his length twitching in arousal. Haru didn't hesitate to take all of him in his mouth, flicking his tongue up and down to wetten his dick. Daisuke bit back a moan as what felt like shocks traveled throughout his body. Haru swirled his tongue around the base of his dick and started to suck at a steady pace.

The wind outside howled, yet neither of them could hear it. Daisuke felt like he was going to cum any second if Haru kept this up. Haru started paying attention to the tip, occasionally dipping his tongue in the slit while his hand stroked up and down the shaft. Daisuke started to arch his back without realizing it until Haru grabbed him by his hips and forced him down so he could engulf his entire shaft in the wet heat of his mouth.

Daisuke let out a heated moan, feeling himself begin to dissolve in pleasure. He was finding it harder to hold it in.

"H-Haru..!" he whimpered. Haru understood right away that Daisuke was about to reach his limit, so he slowed down and pulled away, sitting up straight and wiping the saliva off his lips. Daisuke panted, slightly trembling from what he'd just experienced. Haru caught his breath and took in the sight of the man below him. The moon shone on his face, revealing his pink nose and cheeks. The look in his eyes was the look of someone overwhelmed with lust. Haru could see that he wanted more, and Daisuke didn't want to wait any longer.

Haru got off the bed and made his way into his bathroom through the barely lit room. Daisuke looked after him, wondering what he was doing. The clouds outside rumbled in the storm, and after a minute or two Haru came back with a small container.

"What's that?" asked Daisuke. Haru climbed back in the bed with it.

"Coconut oil," he said. Daisuke didn't say anything. Haru averted his shy gaze. "I don't have any lube, okay?" he mumbled.

"Why not?"

"How interesting do you think my life is?" asked Haru in annoyance. Daisuke gave a small, amused smirk.

"That's fair. I'm guessing you don't have condoms, then?"

Haru looked even more embarrassed, his brow furrowing as he looked away.

"I've been tested, if that helps. Have you?" he finally asked.

"Of course," said Daisuke. Haru's gaze softened. After another moment, he spoke up.

"I trust you. Do you trust me?" he questioned. Daisuke studied the man above him and nodded.

"Yes."

Haru leaned down and kissed Daisuke softly. He pulled away, slipping his finger into Daisuke's mouth.

"Suck on it." he told him. Daisuke seemed a bit confused at first, but did as he was told. Haru removed his finger and placed it on Daisuke's entrance, massaging his hole until it felt ready to have a finger slipped in.

Daisuke felt a bit uncomfortable at first, but soon enough he was overcome with the sensation of Haru's finger toying with him. Haru started to slip his finger in after Daisuke got used to the feeling. Any noises that were being made were overshadowed by the sound of the storm. Haru connected with him for a rough kiss, sliding his finger deeper inside. He could feel the vibration of Daisuke slightly groaning into the kiss.

After his entire finger was in, Haru started to slip in a second. He stayed aware of any indication of objection from his partner, but Daisuke was too busy swirling his tongue against his to refuse anything in the moment.

Daisuke's breath hitched and he pulled away from the kiss once Haru was two fingers deep. Haru thrusted his fingers in and out gently, having to use some of the coconut oil to keep from hurting him. Daisuke inhaled short, quick breaths and let out an occasional moan.

After a few minutes of this, Daisuke was just about writhing under Haru, his eyes begging him for more. The way his sweat glistened in the moonlight and how his breath trembled slightly was enough to make Haru even harder than before. After a few more minutes of fingering, Haru removed them.

"Are you ready?" he asked. Daisuke only nodded, his face heated with desire. Haru slid his pants off and applied the coconut oil to his erection, rubbing it down to make sure it was fully covered. He removed Daisuke's pants completely and lifted his legs up. He slowly started to push in, grunting with each breath. Daisuke groaned tensely, trying to keep from being overly vocal. Once Haru was about 2 inches deep, he started stroking in and out gently to work Daisuke into the feeling.

Daisuke gripped the sheets as Haru gradually penetrated him with his entire length, unable to hold in his gasps of ecstasy. Haru slowly sped up, but still kept a rather average pace. All the while he was admiring the beautiful man before him, whose moonlit face was a mixture of pleasure and need while his body moved to and from the headboard with every stroke.

He felt sweat forming on his forehead and wanted to speed up, but he was worried that he'd reach his climax too soon. He pulled out and caught his breath, catching Daisuke's eyes with a sinful gaze.

"Turn over." he husked. Daisuke obeyed and turned over on his stomach, his face now pressing against the pillow. Haru got some more coconut oil and slathered his dick with it before slowly entering Daisuke again.

Daisuke moaned into the pillow as Haru filled him with his length. He leaned over Daisuke and placed his hands on either side of his partner's head, quickening his pace.

The rain beating against the window drowned out the sounds of their soft moans. As they continued, Daisuke bit down onto the pillow to control his loud gasps and moans while Haru was now pounding into him and trying to last as long as he could.

Daisuke felt like he would tear up from holding in his orgasm for so long. The need to release was growing too much for him to handle.

"H-Haru..!" he desperately choked out. Haru didn't say anything and continued thrusting into him faster and faster, sweat forming all over his body. He groaned in pleasure as he felt himself about to cum within the next 4 or 5 strokes.

One more, and it was over for Daisuke. He buried his face deeper into the pillow and let out an intense, passionate moan as he came all over the sheets. Haru followed seconds later, slamming his hips into Daisuke a few more times before pulling out and cumming all over his back with a loud, heated moan. They collapsed next to each other, out of breath and covered in sweat. Haru turned over and pulled Daisuke in by his cheek for one more steamy kiss. When they broke the kiss, they locked eyes. Haru smiled.

"Funny how it started and ended the same way." he teased softly.

"What do you mean?" asked Daisuke.

"Nothing. Nevermind." Haru chuckled and planted a kiss on his partner's forehead.

After a short moment, Daisuke slowly sat up while Haru got up in the dark to grab a few towels from the bathroom and to put his clothes back on. Daisuke looked out the window, seeing nothing but the moon and the harsh rain that consumed it. He pushed his bangs aside so he could see the view better. He had never really cared for the rain.

Haru sat on the edge of the bed and wiped Daisuke's back off with a damp towel. They were both quiet for a short while while they cleaned off, listening to the harsh winds and thunder.

"How do you feel?" asked Haru, pulling his sheets off the bed. Daisuke put his shirt back on once he was completely cleaned off.

"A bit sore, honestly," he answered, tugging at the string on his sweatpants. Haru tossed his sheets and towels into the laundry basket and felt around for his closet door that wasn't visible from the moonlight. He found and opened it, pulling two large blankets out. He covered the mattress with one and laid the other one out for them to use. They both crawled back in, and Daisuke made sure to move slowly to avoid exerting his lower body and causing pain.

They lay next to each other for a moment, listening to the rain. Haru looked over at Daisuke, who was looking up at the ceiling. Daisuke spoke after a few seconds.

"That first sleeping position was comfortable," he said. Haru pondered on his words.

"Which sleeping position?" he asked. After a few seconds, it occurred to him. He smiled to himself and gently reached over, pulling Daisuke to his chest. "You mean this one." he stated, holding him close.

Daisuke said nothing, and slowly closed his eyes to listen to the rain. It almost felt comforting now.

For some reason.
