Chapter 1
October 4th
An average-sized man in a cloak enters an abandoned cave lit by lanterns hundreds of feet away. The man follows the lit path towards his destination. His destination is a large room that is the source of the light. The room is a large chapel with multiple floors carved out of the rock. In the center stands an older man in a dark cloak. Eager to sit down and hear the older man speak, the average-sized man heads towards a large flock of cloaked figures. One comes up to him.
"Welcome back brother. Are you ready for today's sermon? Father Kyōjin claims that this will be the service that will inspire us all to finally slay that terrible beast." the cloaked figure says.
"I'm excited as well. It's time for that beast to finally pay its penance." the average-sized man responds.
Today would be a call to action. A call to action to kill a beast that has terrorized the inhabitants of Inazuma Village. A beast that has the speed of a lightning bolt itself and the strength of the strongest tailed beasts. This beast would finally be put down and the humans would once again reign supreme over the powerful beasts. Father Kyōjin would lead followers to the promised land. A promised land deprived of beasts. The beast's name is Raitoninguhōku and Father Kyōjin's sermon will cement Raitoninguhōku's fate.
Father Kyōjin turns around to welcome his loyal followers to today's sermon. He can sense the excitement emanating from them before he begins his glorious speech. He looks up to the carved roof and smiles. He smiles knowing the next night, the mere art on the ceiling will become reality. Raitoninguhōku will be killed and he will complete his path of revenge.
"Hello, my loyal followers! It is me, your leader and savior Kyodaina Kirai! Today I come to you not as your friend, but a motivational speaker! A motivational speaker that will inspire you to stand up and destroy the beast that has been harassing us for too many years! Raitoninguhōku returns to his home in the Zeusu mountains every night after his daily village raid! Arriving and leaving as fast as he arrived! Leaving a long path of destruction in his wake! Why is it fair for that beast to get a good night's sleep after massacring a village of innocent men, women, and children? I say we end its peaceful nights of slumber! I say that we band together and kill this beast to avenge our fallen loved ones and prevent any future victims! Who's with me?" exclaimed Kyodaina.
The crowd erupts with chants of joy and appreciation. Kyodaina bathes in the cheers like they were soap and water. He moves away from the center of the room and heads into the direction of his chambers.
"That sermon was surely one of his greatest. It has me pumped to kill that godforsaken beast." said a cloaked figure.
"We agree then brother." said the average-sized man.
Thirty minutes pass and the cave is nearly empty. It's only occupied by a few stragglers. The average-sized man begins to walk towards the door until Kyodaina walks up to him.
"Hello, Brother Heikin. Did you enjoy the sermon?" said Kyodaina.
"I very sure did Father. You are really good at giving inspirational speeches," said Heikin.
"Brother, I come to you because we have a problem. We all want to slay that foul beast but that fool of a leader, Anze"Brother, I come to you because we have a problem. We all want to slay that foul beast but that fool of a leader, Anzeru Washinton, made it illegal to lay a finger on it," said Kyodaina.
"What do you want me to do about it Father?" says Heikin.
"I want you to convince that "friend" of yours to legalize hunting for Raitoninguhōku," said Kyodaina.
"That will be impossible! You know that he is friends with that foul beast," said Heikin.
"I know that, but you're his best friend. No matter a man's morals, his best buddy can change them," said Kyodaina
"Once he makes up his mind, he stands by that choice," said Heikin.
"Changing his mind can prove your loyalty. You helped this church gain so many new members. I know that you are very persuasive." said Kyodaina.
"Why would you need it legalized? Can we just hunt it incognito? said Heikin.
"I respect the law. I never want to break it or make others believe I'm above it. Legalizing it can inspire others to hunt and destroy these beasts and those sinful jinchuriki. This can help bring upon the new world order that we've all worked hard to achieve." said Kyodaina
"Fine. I'll try my best," said Heikin.
"I knew you would come around. Your skills will help us kill this monster. Have a good rest of your night. You have less than a day." said Kyodaina.
Heikin walks out of the dark hallway in silence. His new job is to convince his best friend to betray his beast friend. This job would definitely be harder because of the birth of Anzeru's son nearing. Heikin knows that this visit will be a waste of time, but he knows that he can't disappoint the savior and father of the new world.
Heikin stands outside of the Washinton residence. He contemplates different ways that this conversation can go. He is fighting with his conscience. Should he betray his best friend so the new world can begin or should he put a friendship over the savior? This question lingers in his head and disappears once he knocks on the door. A clean-shaven man opens the door and greets his friend.
"Hello, Heikin. Why are you coming to visit me at such a late hour?" said Anzeru.
"I came here to discuss with you an important matter," said Heikin.
"What is it?" said Anzeru.
"I want you to allow me and the members of my church to travel through the Zeusu mountains on a trip towards the Land of Lightning for a prayer festival," said Heikin.
"I didn't know you were a believer in faith, Heikin. I'm ok with you taking a trip, but why go through the Zeusu Mountains? You do know that Raitoninguhōku lives there and if he gets enraged, you're all dead." said Anzeru.
"I know the risks, old friend. I'm stronger than I look. I know that, but I should be powerful enough to tame the beast if it gets enraged" said Heikin.
"Fine, but send me a letter every day to ensure your safety. I don't want my friend to die too early," said Anzeru.
"Thank you Anzeru. I will make sure to bring back a gift from the festival. Good night friend." said Heikin.
"Have a great trip Heikin," said Anzeru.
Heikin leaves Anzeru's house. He can't believe that his plan actually worked.
"Tomorrow will be the last day that that beast terrorizes this land and we will be able to do it without opposition," said Heikin
Heikin meets up with the rest of the church members at the meetup spot outside of the village the next night. Thirty people at the meetup spot. 29 of these people are unknown to him.
"With all that support you got, I would assume more brothers and sisters would join us to witness the death of that beast," said Heikin.
Heikin steps in front of the crowd. He observes the teenager standing next to Heikin.
"The mission is a little too dangerous for the rest of them," said Kyodaina.
"Good job Heikin. I knew that I could trust you. Now guys, let's move! Tonight will be the last night that that monster exists in this world.
The plan is negotiated on their trip towards the Zeusu Mountains. The 29 other ninja aren't new church members, they're sealing ninja. They will suck away Raitoninguhōku's chakra while Heikei and Kyodaina fight the weakened beast. They will kill the beast and celebrate on the way back if they succeed. After four hours of traveling, they arrive at the Zeusu mountains.
"We're here my friends. Everyone gets to their positions. Phase 1 of the plan starts now."
The sealing team moves into the cave. Inside the cave, the majestic beast sleeps. The beast is a giant blue hawk. Its skin is coated with lightning. The sealing team circles the beast. They prepare the sealing technique and use it on the sleeping beast.
"Chakra Stealer Technique!" exclaimed the sealing ninja.
Long tubes pop out of the urns and attach to the beast. They start to suck the chakra out of the beast. The beast wakes up and roars.
"Heikei, phase 2 starts now!" exclaimed Kyodaina.
The beast flaps his wings, causing the sealing technique to stop stealing his chakra. Raitoninguhōku goes after Kyodaina. He blasts a lightning beam from his mouth. The old man easily dodges it.
"Lightning Style: Piercing Arrows!" exclaimed Kyodaina.
Two large arrows launch out of his hands and hit the beast stabbing it and causing it to bleed. Heikin moves into position. He does the hand signs for a jutsu.
"Water Style: Water Vortex Jutsu!" exclaimed Heikei.
Raitoninguhōku is engulfed in a massive water vortex. Kyodaina leaps in the air and prepares another jutsu. Kyodaina will combine his jutsu with Heikei's to kill the beast.
"Lightning Style: Chain Lightning Jutsu!" exclaimed Kyodania.
The chain of lightning hits the water and electrocutes the beast until it is knocked unconscious. Kyodaina and Heikei carefully walk closer to the downed beast. Heikei pokes it with a stick to see if it is alive. The beast doesn't react to the poking and the team starts to celebrate until it opens its eyes. The wind from the excessive flapping breaks the urns and the entire cave. The stolen chakra from the urns returns to their owner. The team flies out of the cave and is briefly knocked unconscious when they hit the ground. Heikei wakes up a few minutes later and sees a dying Kyodania lying a few feet in front of him.
"Kyodania are you okay?" asked Heikei.
"I'm dying Heikei. I won't be able to save the world. I won't be able to eradicate that beast. I'm sorry for being a false prophet Heikei." said Kyodania
"You can't give up yet Father. We can still beat it," said Heikei.
"Raitoninguhōku is too strong. He massacred us. You are the only one left. You have to save Inazuma Village." said Kyodania.
"Why do I have to save Inazuma Village?" asked Heikei.
"It's because he's heading there to continue his rampage," said Kyodania
Kyodania dies in Heikei's arms. Heikei holds Kyodania's lifeless body while he finally comes to terms with the current situation. He lays his friend on the ground and starts to head back to the village. He's determined to destroy the beast once and for all.
The young morning arrives. Anzeru wakes up and goes to the bathroom trying his hardest to not wake up his sleeping wife, Sutefanī. He heads towards the kitchen after he showers and prepares his daily cup of tea. He puts on his village leader cloak and is about to head to his office until he hears his wife scream. He barges into his room.
"What's wrong!" exclaimed Anzeru.
"My water broke," said Sutefanī.
Anzeru's face turns from fear to happiness. He's finally going to be a father. He picks up his wife and rushes her to the hospital. This will be the happiest day of his life. His family will be brought into the next generation.
Hours pass while Anzeru patiently waits for his child. After reading nearly every book, he hears another scream. The doctors and Anzeru rush into the hospital room. After ten minutes of pushing and motivational words, a baby pops out. The doctors pick up the baby and hand them to Sutefanī.
"It's a baby boy. What do you want to name him?" said a doctor.
"I'll name him Joshu Washinton," said Sutefanī
.
"I second that name. Welcome to the world little man," said Anzeru
After signing a little paperwork, they're allowed to leave. The Washinton family leaves the hospital as new people. They are no longer just adults, they're now parents.
Raitoninguhōku flies through the skies at top speed. He is enraged more than he has ever been. The humans tried to steal his chakra and tried to kill him. He will have his revenge. He will have his revenge on the village coming up. That unlucky village is Inazuma Village.
The Washintons approach their house with their newborn but are stopped by a jounin.
"What's going on?" asks Anzeru.
"It's Raitoninguhōku sir. He's coming this way and he will be here any minute. There's no way that we will be able to prevent him from attacking the village." said the jounin.
"Assemble all of the shinobi in the village. Don't attack Raitoninguhōku until I give the order," said Anzeru.
"Yes sir." said the jounin.
Anzeru rushes his wife and newborn into the basement of his house. He plants them on a bed. He then is about to run to the door until his wife asks him a question.
"Where are you going?" asked Sutefanī.
"I'm going to protect my village," said Anzeru.
Anzeru runs out of his house. Raitoninguhōku arrives in the air above Inazuma Village. Raitoninguhōku is about to make a lightning bomb until Anzeru arrives.
" Raitoninguhōku! Why are you trying to attack my village!" exclaimed Anzeru.
"Your kind tried to kill me!" exclaimed Raitoninguhōku.
"What do you mean? Heikei was trying to pass through your mountain, not kill you!" exclaimed Anzeru.
"Then why did he attack me!" exclaimed Raitoninguhōku.
"He did? Even if he did, it gives you no right to attack us! Leave immediately! You will not take your anger out on my people!" exclaimed Anzeru.
"I won't leave until you bring him here!" exclaimed Raitoninguhōku.
"He isn't here! Even if he was here, I wouldn't just betray him and give him over to you!" exclaimed Anzeru.
"So you side with him? Then, I guess I must take my anger out on you!" exclaimed Raitoninguhōku.
"Bring it! Shinobi, let's protect our village!" exclaimed Anzeru.
Raitoninguhōku launches a lightning bomb towards Anzeru. Anzeru starts doing hand signs to prepare a jutsu to counter the bomb.
"Lightning Style: Heaven's Judgement!" exclaimed Anzeru.
A spinning tube of lightning shoots out of his hands and splits the bomb in half causing it to blow up mid-air. The jounin line up and are about to launch a powerful attack. They start weaving hand signs for a team jutsu.
"Lightning Style: Four Pillar Bind!" exclaimed the Jonin.
Nearly two thousand pillars appear around the beast. Lightning comes from the sky and strikes him.
"Do these fools believe that lightning can kill me? I'm the taka of lightning!" thought Raitoninguhōku.
Raitoninguhōku starts to absorb the lightning, but this is the plan. The jounin want the beast to absorb all the lightning so it can overload and blow up. Anzeru notices this and raises his arm in the air.
"I'm sorry my friend, but I have to take you out. Kirin."
A large lightning dragon comes from the sky and strikes the beast. It yells while it overloads then it vanishes. Anzeru and the jounin are confused about its sudden disappearance. Then it reappears with a lightning beast bomb the size of the entire village. Raitoninguhōku launches the bomb. Anzeru makes clones of himself and sends them out to save all the villagers they can. He's low on chakra and has to use a transformation that can possibly kill him. He requests chakra from the beast that was sealed inside him years ago. Anzeru transforms quickly. Blue chakra forms around him covered in lightning. He grabs his sword and speed blitzes through the bomb, slicing it in half. The bomb explodes and takes many buildings and lives in the process.
Anzeru clears the rubble off of him. He observes his village in shambles. He sees the carcass of a dead child lying under rubble right next to him. He nearly breaks down in tears, but he has a mission to complete.
"The only way that I can defeat him is by sealing the rest of his chakra. I'm almost out of chakra, but I have to choose a worthy candidate to receive this monster's chakra. There's no time to be scared of death. It's time to step up and defeat this demon!" exclaimed Anzeru.
He runs until he finds Raitoninguhōku. He prepares the sealing jutsu that could cost his life.
"Lightning Strike Sealing Technique!" exclaimed Raitoninguhōku.
A lightning bolt hits the beast's head and creates a hole. Chakra starts to leave through that hole and attaches to Anzeru.
"He's sucking me in! Don't tell me he's going to trap me into one of them," exclaimed Raitoninguhōku.
Anzeru runs at top speed towards his house. He runs into the basement to check on his wife and child. He knows what he has to do, but he knows that his wife will disagree.
"Sutefanī, we have to seal Raitoninguhōku into Joshu," said Anzeru.
"No way! I know you're smart, but I won't let you seal that monster into our son!" said Sutefanī.
"I understand your reasoning, but I can't seal it into you because you were born with a small amount of chakra and I don't know how to seal him into me. I'm sorry, but I have no choice. When I complete this sealing, I'm going to die so I'll need you to take care of our son for me to the best of your ability." said Anzeru.
"Don't speak like that! I need you. I can't take care of our son without you!" exclaimed Sutefanī.
"I know you're going to miss me, but after I've sealed it in him, you have to run and get help from Minato and the Hidden Leaf. I know you don't have a lot of chakra, but I need you to transport him there no matter what. He needs a mother in his life. Goodbye Sutefanī. Tell Joshu about me." said Anzeru.
Anzeru starts to seal Raitoninguhōku into Joshu. His hand is covered in lightning and places it on Joshu's stomach. Raitoninguhōku's chakra is placed into Joshu and sealed. Anzeru is barely able to talk because he's so low on chakra.
"R-u-n h-o-n-e-y." said Anzeru.
Anzeru falls to the floor and dies with a smile on his face. Sutefanī cries her heart out to the sight of her dead husband's body. After around twenty minutes of crying she picks up her son and her husband's blade and runs for hours straight, ignoring the pain and weather until she reaches the Village Hidden in the Leaves where she finally falls down with her child in her arms.
"Goodbye Joshu," said Sutefanī.
She dies right in front of the big green door with her baby in her arms. Onlookers start to stare at her. Then, a teenager with white hair and a headband over his left eye picks up the woman and her child and takes them to his village's leader.
