Earth, morning
Cliffjumper was cruising down a road after a long session of doing nothing. When suddenly, a hole opens in the sky.
The energy pouring out of it jammed his comms, preventing him from calling for help.
So, like the imbecile he was, he decided to check out the hole. The rift in the sky ejected a teenage boy wearing a red jacket and black pants. "Where did I end up this time?" he asked himself before he spotted Cliffjumper in his Vehicle Mode. "No point in hiding. I know you're alive." he said to the Autobot.
Seeing his cover blown, Cliffjumper shifted into Default Mode and addressed the teen. "Who are you?" the Cybertronian asked.
"Ever heard of the Skylanders?" the teen asked with a smile as a small green plane with a clown face popped out of the portal.
1 year later
Cliffjumper was currently driving on a country road with Dominic in the driver's seat. Turned out the two had a lot in common.
They were both freeloaders, they both loved the color red, and finally, they both enjoyed racing. Much to the chagrin of those in charge (mainly Arcee).
"So there I am on lookout when out of nowhere, these highbeams light up my rearview. And then it hits me, i'm illegally parked!" Cliffjumper said to the motorcycle.
"Another parking ticket?"
"Try the boot." Dominic chimed in.
"Big metal tire clamp, impossible to remove."
"Bingo! The local police do their thing and I let them get all the way down the block. That's when I kick off my new shiny shoe and BANG!"
"New York's finest crap their pants at the sight of a giant robot." Dominic said, giving a glare to Cliffjumper.
"You know me, Dom. You mess with Cliffjumper,-."
"You get the horns." "You get the horns." Arcee and Dominic said in unison.
"And you wonder why Optimus assigned me to you." Dominic said. "You always forget to keep a low profile. What do you think would happen if people found out about the Base?"
"It's not my fault! There's only so many times a Bot can play I Spy before going insane."
"Like Jasper, Nevada's a party? Face it, with Autobots having to hide and Dominic staying quiet about his powers, we're alone no matter where we go."
"Unfortunately, she's right. The only things in this world that actually put up a fight to me are the Cons, and even then it'd be one-sided." Dominic lamented.
Cliffjumper's radar started to ping, alerting the three to the massive Energon mine. "That. Is a lot of Energon." Dominic said, starstruck. He'd never seen the substance before in any of his other adventures. But then he saw the battleship in the distance. "Cliff, look."
From the ship came five Vehicons, grunts that had about as much military training as a Goomba. Not seeing Dominic as a threat, they focused their attacks on the Cybertronian.
Big mistake.
Dominic took shards of rock from the desert ground and drove it through one of the Vehicon's heads. The others stared at him in fear for what he did. Dominic took the chance to blast streams of fire from his palms, melting the Cons alive. Seeing the ship in the distance gave him an idea.
He shot a fire blast at it.
Granted, it did nothing. But it wasn't to damage the ship. It was to make a point.
The Autobots had the Mountain King on their side.
Soon, the rest of the team came through the Ground-Bridge with their weapons ready. "Took ya long enough." Dominic said.
"Yeah. You completely missed the party!" Cliffjumper said with a wave.
The Bots turned their weapons off and walked into the pit. "How are you two?" Optimus asked.
"Perfectly fine. Dominic did all the work anyways." he said, gesturing to the pyromancer.
"Turns out I have a big advantage over Cons." Dominic said with a shrug.
"Yeah. I'm sure nobody would've guessed that fire was bad for giant robots." Arcee said sarcastically.
Autobot Base, the next day
"Let me make sure I got this right." Dominic said, staring at Bumblebee and Arcee. "You two brawled with Cons and got yourselves exposed to children!"
Unlike Dominic, Optimus kept his composure. "If the Decepticons are actively targeting us, then anyone perceived as an ally will be at grave risk. Bring them in."
"Tomorrow's Friday, you can pick them up then." Dominic said before going to his room. He needed a nap after all this craziness.
Autobot Base, the NEXT next day
"Really? A third one?" Dominic asked once he saw Miko.
"Haven't you heard? Humans multiply." Arcee joked.
"Not that quickly." Dominic shot back.
"I'm Raf."
"I'm Miko. Who are you?" the transfer student asked the Wrecker.
"Bulkhead." he replied. That opened the floodgates for questioning from a hyperactive teenager.
"Are you a car? I bet you're a truck, a monster truck! Do you like heavy metal? How much do you weigh? Have you ever used a wrecking ball as a punching bag?" At this point, Bulkhead lost the point.
"If you guys are robots, then who made you?" Raf asked.
"Robot God obviously." Dominic semi-joked.
"We are autonomous robotic organisms from the planet Cybertron, also known as Autobots." Optimus said to the teens.
"Why are you here?" Jack asked.
"To protect your planet from the Decepticons."
"Okay. Why are THEY here?"
"A fair question, Jack." Optimus said, kneeling down. "In part, they are here because our planet in uninhabitable, ravaged by centuries of civil war."
"Why were you fighting a war?" Raf asked.
"For most, over control of our world's supply of Energon, the fuel and lifeblood of Autobots and Decepticons alike. The combat was fierce, and endured for centuries. In the beginning, I fought alongside one I considered a brother. But in war, ideals can be corrupted. And it was thus that Megatron lost his way."
"Is there going to be a quiz?" Miko asked.
"So what does this Megatron, or any of this have to do with us?" Jack asked.
"Megatron has not been seen for some time. But I fear his return is imminent, and if i'm right, it will be catastrophic."
Dominic had a bad feeling that something just happened.
Something dark.
