"Hey, Koizumi!"
Itsuki stopped in his tracks at the sound of Haruhi Suzumiya's voice in the distance behind him.
"You left this in the club room!" she told him, holding up his blazer. "I was surprised to see that you left it there. You don't seem like the forgetful type."
"I'm quite surprised myself to be honest, I'm usually not that absent minded." Itsuki replied, putting the blazer back on. "Nevertheless, thank you very much for bringing it back to me."
Haruhi grinned, feeling super proud of herself. "Of course! I can't have one of my subordinates possibly catch a cold on the way back home!"
It really wasn't that cold, and the blazer's thin material wouldn't do much to protect against that, but Itsuki smiled anyway at the gesture. "You have my thanks, Miss Suzumiya."
"Hehe~ Oh... Kyon!" Haruhi spotted Kyon nearby, tackling him.
"Hey, get off me!"
"Nuh-uh! I need you to do something first."
"Can't you ask like a normal person?!"
As Kyon struggled to get the crazy girl off his back, Itsuki stood there in observation. Haruhi always seemed so lively and happy around Kyon.
Itsuki's eyes met his. You don't know how lucky you are.
