11:43 A.M. – Somewhere in Beverly Hills
Sortiliena was still shocked at how she'd acted back in Tachikawa.
Even a couple weeks after that mission, it still bothered her, mostly because...
She didn't even want to think about Terrence was possibly doing to Ronye at the moment. Did he think that the way she'd acted was in violation of their agreement?
And speak of the devil, her 'other' communicator began to ring, indicating that Terrence was calling her. Steeling herself for the worst, Sortiliena answered the call.
"...what do you want, Terrence?" Sortiliena asked, her tone indicating she just wanted Terrence to get to the point. "Is Ronye still in one piece?"
"I haven't touched her yet, as per our agreement," Terrence answered on the other line. "But, I'm sure you know why I'm calling you now. It's time for you to play your part."
"...and if I do this for you, you'll let Ronye go?" Sortiliena asked again. "You promised, after all."
"Do I sound like someone who would break my promises?" Terrence chuckled.
Sortiliena wanted to say "yes, you would", considering who she was dealing with, but she refrained, not wanting to say anything that would get Ronye hurt.
"In fact, I'll make it easy for you," Terrence cackled. "I've got someone from the spies' rogues' gallery here with me, and I'm gonna let him loose so you can do your thing. You know exactly what to do."
A loud click signaled the end of the call, leaving Sortiliena to ponder how she'd gotten herself into this mess.
"...will they ever be able to forgive me?" Sortiliena wondered.

Story Rated: T for Teen
Story Created: October 6th, 2021
Story Summary: The fifty-ninth co-op project between Mat49324 and The Blue Time Ranger, and episode forty-five of our mission-based series Totally Spies: The New Adventures. The spies are after Willard once again, since he's got yet another hare-brained plan to slow the world down, but just when the gang thinks they've got Willard cornered, their conquest is interrupted by... Sortiliena?! It seems like Terrence is finally ready to cash in on his plan to use Sortiliena to take down the spies from the inside. Can the spies save a distraught Sortiliena and her student Ronye, and can they take down Terrence before all of Sortiliena's hard work comes undone?
Author's Note from Mat49324: It's now episode 6 of season 4 of Totally Spies The New Adventures. We hope you enjoyed the last project, Starting a Snit Storm. Just as a heads up, in our next project, we're having the spies leave Mali-U for the summer and go back to their beach house. This will likely be the case for the rest of this season. For now, we've got this one – Come Undone – and then it's summertime for the spies. For now, here's The Blue Time Ranger if there's anything he'd like to say.
Author's Note from The Blue Time Ranger: And so we've reached the midway point of season four, and the climax of Sortiliena's arc. But this doesn't mean she'll be taking her final bow here, since she is W.O.O.H.P.'s combat instructor, she may still pop in every now and then if things go well. But for now, let's see if the spies can unravel Terrence's sinister scheme! ROLL IT!

Act 1: Shattered Dreams
12:16 P.M. – Beverly Hills
The Groove
"And, sweet victory has been achieved once again!" Bridget laughed as she emerged from the shoe store with her prize in hand, with Nick not too far behind her.
"Did they actually have it in stock for more than five minutes this time?" Nick teased.
"Oh, they had dozens of them there, Nick," Bridget replied. "They ordered tons of them because they knew they were gonna be the hot ticket for the summer."
"And once again, I must say rest in peace to your old track shoes," Nick dramatically stated. Bridget's old track shoes that she'd had since her middle school days had finally seen their last day on the track, so Bridget had made sure to head to The Groove today so she could snatch up a new pair of these really fancy, supposedly super-durable shoes.
"They served me well these past seven years," Bridget sighed. "You shall never be forgotten. Okay, now that we have what we came here for, let's bolt back to Mali-U before this place turns into a warzone."
With that, Nick and Bridget left The Groove with their quarry, unaware that someone was watching them from afar.
"Well, Nick, just one more week to go and then classes are all done for the summer!" Bridget giggled as she placed her shoes into her Jetpack Backpack. "Isn't that something else?"
"Sometimes it's hard to believe that we've made it through two whole years at Mali-U," Nick admitted.
"Yeah, you add classes, clubs, and spy work, and it's quite the recipe for yikes at times, huh?" Bridget quipped. "But hey, we've survived far worse than school, right?"
"Oh, tell me about it," Nick laughed. "I'm definitely looking forward to relaxing at the beach house again. That place holds a lot of memories for me, after all..."
Nick suddenly stopped in his spot, turning around towards something strange he'd sensed in the distance.
"What's up, Nick?" Bridget asked. "Something wicked this way comes?"
"Yeah, and it's coming fast," Nick proclaimed, spinning around and raising his hand to project a psychic barrier, thus causing Willard to slam headlong into it as he tried to attack Nick.
"H-How did you see me coming?!" Willard gasped.
"Um, psychic, remember?" Nick taunted. "Now how about you answer my question and tell me how you escaped containment?!"
"Let's just say I had a friend on the inside during that big prison transfer," Willard laughed. "That's all you're getting from me. Now try and catch me if you can!"
"Oh, buddy, did you honestly forget I was here?" Bridget taunted as she flipped open her X-Powder. "Sonic Mode, online!"
Green rings of light surrounded Bridget's body as her hair braids came undone, letting her hair flow down to about her waist. Bridget reached out to tap a new symbol that had appeared on her shirt, the symbol flashing brightly and changing her outfit into a more cyberpunk-esque version of her normal spy catsuit with glowing neon lines running in patterns all across the suit.
"Now let's dance, slow boy," Bridget challenged. "Nick, call the others and let them know what's going on, 'kay? I'll chase this lug nut."
"Roger that," Nick responded, opening his own X-Powder to contact the rest of the spies as Bridget sped off like lightning to chase down Willard.
12:23 P.M. – Malibu University
The Spies' Penthouse
Back at the penthouse, the spies were all doing their own things. Haruka, Dawn, and May were tanning poolside; Sam, Mat, Britney, and Melissa were finishing lunch inside; simultaneously, Mat was putting the finishing touches on his Journalism story packages and other assignments. Alex, Clover, and Nozomi were watching some TV; Blaine had just went on his way to practice beach volleyball.
"Melissa, how do you like this?" Mat asked as he showed her the quote she got for his volleyball story.
Melissa got a look and she seemed to like his decision.
"How do you know that's good enough for you?" Britney asked Mat.
"Usually, if I hear some random word that's not used in everyday conversations, that'll get me thinking at least," Mat answered.
Melissa gave him a pat on the back.
"Hopefully Nick and Bridget are coming back from the Groove soon," Alex remarked.
That was when Sam heard her X-Powder.
"Already?" Sam wondered as she answered and saw Nick's visage.
"Nick? What's going on?"
"Sam, we've got a big problem at the Groove," Nick answered.
"Problem?" Melissa asked as she got the other three spies' attention.
Clover, Nozomi, and Alex came from their spots to hear Nick out.
"You bet there's a problem!" Nick chastised. "Our slow-moving, fast-pace hating idiot is at it again!"
"Willard?!" Britney exclaimed, putting two and two together.
Haruka, Dawn, and May were just coming in after hearing Britney's excited utterance.
"What's going on?" Haruka wondered.
"Trouble, that's what," Alex emphasized.
"Then lucky we got a swim in," May quipped.
"Hold on, Nick, we're coming!" Nozomi emphasized.
"Wait, what about Bridget?" Mat wondered.
"She already sped off after Willard," Nick answered.
"All right, at least someone's got a head start," Haruka quipped.
"We better get Blaine, too," Sam replied as she closed her X-Powder.
"Leave that to me," another male voice remarked as Jerry and RiCO appeared on the spies' TV.
"We'll send a notice to Blaine," RiCO told them. "Let's just hope he's done with practice at least."
"Well, let's go then," Sam quipped after everyone did wardrobe changes to their spy suits.
12:59 P.M. – The Groove
The spies had high-tailed things, even using their Jetpack Backpacks to save some time.
"I'm getting a reading on Nick and Bridget's X-Powders nearby," Haruka told the others.
"Wonder what Willard's up to this time..." Britney stated.
"Knowing him, it can't be anything good," Alex quipped. "Let's just get down to The Groove before he can wreck anything up."
"Hey, I think I see him!" Melissa exclaimed, pointing downwards towards where Willard was trying to escape, only to be cut off at every pass by Bridget. "Let's render our assistance!"
Willard continued to dart in many different directions, only to be stopped by Bridget each time.
"All right, screw this," Willard cackled as he instead dashed towards Bridget, but she was ready for him, meeting his strike and pushing him back in the process.
"Try again for a nickel?" Bridget laughed.
Willard responded by flipping over Bridget and snapping his left foot down to kick her, sending her sliding back a few feet.
"Huh, not bad," Bridget admitted. "It seems like you've gotten better since the last time I stomped your slow face. But so did I!"
Bridget didn't give Willard any time to react, lunging forward as fast as she could to blindside him with multiple back and forth attacks.
By this point, the rest of the spies had landed to confront Willard as well.
"You might as well give it up, Willard," Sam proclaimed. "We've got you surrounded and outnumbered."
"Yeah, don't think you're getting away!" May exclaimed, summoning her anchor to her hands. "So you might as well get ready for an anchor smackdown!"
Willard rather quickly realized that he was in a pickle, as the last time he'd faced the spies together, it had only been Sam, Alex, Clover, and Britney. But he also knew that he just needed to stall for a little bit longer. He made sure not to think those words in his mind, as he was pretty sure that Nick could read those thoughts easily.
"Yeah, well, we'll see who has the last laugh!" Willard exclaimed as he dashed through Sam and Mat, sending them stumbling in separate directions before turning back around and charging towards Britney.
However, Bridget was already all over him, running around and around Willard as fast as she could, the sheer speed of her dashing creating a small whirlwind effect that lifted Willard into the air and allowed Bridget to jump into the air and sock Willard in the chest with a double fist strike, sending him crumpling to the ground.
"And that's why you fear the awesomeness of Sonic Whirlwind," Bridget giggled. "So glad I practiced that."
Just as Willard was trying to get up and possibly make an escape to draw out the battle even further, Nick took a step forward and raised his right hand to encase Willard in a psychic bubble.
"There, now you can't possibly use your ironic speed to make an escape," Nick proclaimed. "I don't know why I didn't think of this sooner, but that's game over, Willard."
Willard just scowled as Nick flicked his hand upwards to send the bubbled Willard off to containment, though Nick just missed the smirk on Willard's face as he was sent off.
"Wow, that was unbelievably quick, huh?" Clover quipped. "Didn't take us long at all to send him back to the slammer!"
"Yeah, that's gotta be a record for fastest caper completion!" Alex giggled.
"Wanna compare with my record for the last time I faced Willard?" Bridget laughed.
As the spies all turned to head back to Mali-U, Nick looked up at the sky.
Something didn't feel right here.
Yeah, sure, they'd taken down Willard and captured him in record time, but there was something about this that didn't add up.
Was Willard really up to any devious schemes, and they'd gotten lucky by capturing him so quickly?
Or... was he stalling for something, possibly for the scheme of another baddie?
Before Nick could tell the spies about that strange feeling he'd had, he felt something pressing up against the back of his head, forcing him to stay completely still.
"Just stay still," the voice behind him whispered. "Don't make this harder than it needs to be."
"Sortiliena, what's going on?" Nick asked softly, hoping to not provoke her. "Why are you pointing an electric ray gun to my head?"
From what Nick could read of Sortiliena's mind, her thoughts were a chaotic, jumbled mess.
Sortiliena seemed to hesitate for a couple seconds before screwing her eyes shut.
"I'm sorry," Sortiliena cried before pulling the trigger and electrocuting Nick with her weapon. The flash of the electricity caught the rest of the spies' attention and they turned around just in time to see Nick fall unconscious and into Sortiliena's arms.
"Um, excuse me?!" Alex gasped.
"Sortiliena, what the hell?!" May shouted.
Not even bothering to look the spies in the eye, Sortiliena just turned around and flew off with the unconscious Nick before anyone could wrangle any answers from her.
All the spies could do was make their way back to W.O.O.H.P. and hope they could figure things out.
1:21 P.M. – Terrence's Secret Hideout
"I must say, Sortiliena, that was a stroke of genius, going right for possibly their best fighter," Terrence laughed as he observed the unconscious Nick, now in an electronically-locked jail cell lined with dampening devices that could keep him from using his psychic powers. "The electric shock to the head was quite the nice touch."
"All right, Terrence, I did what you wanted," Sortiliena responded, still visibly shaking from what she'd had to do. "Now give Ronye back this instant."
"Ah-ah, not just yet, my dear," Terrence replied. "We want this case to be special, after all. Despite the fact that we have this annoying psychic brat as our captive, we need this one to be decisive, so that W.O.O.H.P. knows I'm the one holding all the cards here."
Sortiliena couldn't believe he was backing down on their deal now of all times.
"We had a deal, Terrence!" Sortiliena shouted.
"My dear Liena, I thought you, of all people who work for that wretched organization, would know that I'm not one for keeping my word," Terrence cackled.
Before Sortiliena could respond to that, Nick shook his head, slowly shaking off the headache that being electrocuted had given him.
"Huh," Nick quipped. "I'm the one in the cage this time. That's extremely rare."
"Consider yourself the lucky one, boy," Terrence laughed. "She could have done so much worse to you."
"All right, Terrence, what's your game?!" Nick growled. "Were you the one who sprung Willard just to stall for time?!"
"It's such a shame that all of this insight comes far too late to save you," Terrence responded. "And don't even think of trying to blast your way out. This cage is lined with neural dampeners that can block your psychic hooey. And, if you'll both excuse me, I must be taking my leave. I have other things to take care of, like planning for either W.O.O.H.P.'s destruction... or its new management."
With that, Terrence stepped into a nearby teleporter to warp out of the hideout, leaving a grief-stricken Sortiliena and a very confused Nick.
Despite Sortiliena having been the one who attacked him, Nick could see in her eyes that she was very torn up over having to do it. Nick didn't need to use his powers to understand that Terrence had most likely coerced Sortiliena into being his patsy.
But why, though? That was the one question Nick still didn't understand. What did Terrence have on her?
"Sortiliena?" Nick asked. Not too surprisingly, Sortiliena didn't want to look him in the eye. He really couldn't blame her. "Come on, Sortiliena, you're better than this, I know it."
"...I really am sorry, Nick," Sortiliena replied, trying her hardest not to cry. "But Terrence said that unless I took you hostage, he'd... he was going to kill Ronye..."
"Is Ronye a friend of yours?" Nick asked. "I can't read your thoughts until I get out of this cage, so you have to be the one to tell me. I know you're not a bad person. You've done so much to help us out since we got you out of the Datascape, and I'm damn sure that you weren't faking any of that. But you've gotta talk to me, Sortiliena. It's the only way I can help you."
Despite trying her hardest to hold her emotions in check, the way Nick was talking to her, like he still considered her a friend, finally broke her walls down, and she started crying. She reached into her pocket to pull out her X-Powder and show Nick a picture of herself and a petite girl about Nick's age with short brown hair, blue eyes, and wearing a stormy grey-colored spy catsuit.
"Ronye Arabel is one of my students at W.O.O.H.P.'s combat classes, the ones I'm the instructor for," Sortiliena explained. "She's my star pupil, and she's the one Terrence kidnapped. He wants to bring down W.O.O.H.P. from the inside, and he decided he wanted to use me as his stooge..."
"And he forced you into complying by kidnapping and threatening Ronye, right?" Nick asked, to which Sortiliena just nodded. "That's how it usually goes."
"T-Terrence said that if I captured you and took you hostage, he'd let Ronye go," Sortiliena cried.
"Obviously, he lied until the last possible moment," Nick quipped. "Scumbags like him are really good at lying."
"Now that he went back on his word, I don't know what to do!" Sortiliena exclaimed, her sobs getting louder. "If I don't hurry, he might actually kill her! He's got what he wants, so..."
"Whoa, Sortiliena, calm down," Nick responded. "As long as I'm around, Terrence won't lay a finger on Ronye, I promise. And you know that I never break my promises. Just let me out of this cage and I'll help you find her, then we'll kick Terrence's ass together."
One look into Nick's eyes was all the convincing that Sortiliena needed, and she walked over to a nearby console and typed a few commands into it. (She'd secretly watched Terrence when he'd put Nick into the cage to know how to open it if necessary.)
Sure enough, the cell door opened wide so that Nick could walk out, finally feeling his psychic powers return to their full potency.
Before Nick could take a single step out of the hideout, though, Sortiliena came lunging at him with a flying hug. Nick quickly realized that Sortiliena was obviously very upset about this whole ordeal, but Nick wasn't angry or upset with her in the slightest, especially when he knew who was really to blame.
"I'm sorry, Nick, I'm so sorry..." Sortiliena cried.
"Hey, hey, it's okay," Nick replied, hugging Sortiliena back. "Let's go find Ronye, 'kay?"
Sortiliena just nodded and smiled as Nick moved to retrieve his X-Powder so he could call the rest of the spies, only to find that his signal was being jammed, most likely by Terrence.
Sortiliena double-checked her own X-Powder, and sure enough, her signal was being jammed as well.
"Crapbaskets, he thought of that," Nick quipped. "That means whenever we get out of here, we're probably gonna have to explain everything to the others so they won't go off on you."
Nick used his psychic radar to spread his senses out as far as he could, hoping to find Ronye somewhere in this hideout.
"I think I can sense her thoughts," Nick proclaimed. "Follow me, Sortiliena... or am I allowed to call you 'Liena' or not?"
"It's a nickname Ronye came up with," Sortiliena answered. "...and yes, you can call me Liena if you want."
Nick nodded in assent as he and Sortiliena exited the lab so they could explore the hideout and hopefully find Ronye.
"Nick, I'm sorry again for doing what I did," Sortiliena told him again.
"It's fine," Nick told her. "If the shoe was on the other foot, I don't think the circumstances would've changed."
"But yours would've been much worse than mine," Sortiliena added.
"Remember, I've got psychic powers, so I can tell that this whole mess wasn't something you wanted any part of," Nick answered.
"Anyway, I know I need to make this up," Sortiliena replied.
Nick was blocked from responding back saying she didn't need to, but Sortiliena didn't have any of it.
"I hope the others are able to come to our rescue," Nick stated to himself.
2:02 P.M. – W.O.O.H.P. Headquarters
Jerry's Office
"Good Heavens!" Jerry exclaimed when he was told of the new circumstances.
"And Sortiliena's behind all this?!" RiCO chastised. "It CAN'T BE! I know her so well, she would never resort to THIS!"
"I'm afraid she did resort to what she did with Nick," May coldly admitted.
"And the worst part is, none of us even saw it coming!" Alex chastised, knowing this was déjà vu from when Psykos took command of Nick's body.
Everybody shook their heads in agreement with Alex's statement.
"You gotta be able to do something, Jer!" Haruka begged , especially since she and Nick are childhood friends.
"I've traced Nick's X-Powder and am going to try to contact him now..." Jerry told them.
It seemed like a stressful hour, but it was really ten whole seconds before Nick finally DID answer.
"Hello?" Nick answered. "Did you guys actually manage to get through the signal jammer?"
"Nick, I... WHAT IS THAT TRAITOR DOING WITH YOU?!" Alex screamed when she saw Nick was still with Sortiliena.
"Traitor's a little harsh, Alex," RiCO groaned.
"What would YOU use, RiCO?" Bridget retorted.
"Spies, this is not the time!" Jerry insisted.
"Dude, you care to explain what's going on here?" Mat emphasized.
"Long story short, Sortiliena wasn't doing this of her own free will," Nick explained. "Terrence is the one behind this, because he kidnapped a friend of hers and was... well, basically, Terrence was going to kill her unless Sortiliena did what he said."
"Oh my!" Jerry chastised.
"WHAT?!" May shouted. "I never thought Terrence would stoop that low!"
"Sortiliena and I are skulking through his hideout right now so we can find Ronye, but he left to do 'other things', so in case you run into him before you get here, that's probably why," Nick stated.
"Talk about a wacky turn of events," Blaine commented.
"You can say that again," Britney groaned.
"We can help get Ronye back," Mat emphasized to Nick and Sortiliena.
"Even though we find these circumstances totally odious," Sam added.
"We won't turn our backs," Clover added.
"Any idea where they are, Jerry?" Melissa wondered.
"Or would Willard be in cahoots with Terrence in this case?" Dawn added.
"Terrence admitted that he only sprang Willard to stall for time so he could make Sortiliena... well, 'zap' me," Nick responded.
"And, once again, I'm really sorry for what I did," Sortiliena admitted. "Ronye means a lot to me, and..."
"Hey, Terrence was threatening one of your friends," May quipped. "I'm sure I'd be extremely worried about their safety if I was in your shoes, Sortiliena. And... hey, I'm sorry that I called you 'Liena' back in Tachikawa. I didn't think that nickname was gonna upset you so much..."
"It's a nickname that Ronye came up with for me, and, well, the reason I got so defensive was because I was worried about her," Sortiliena answered.
Just then, the video feed started getting more static-y.
"We're on our way, Nick!" Alex exclaimed. "You two just stay safe until we can find you!"
Nick and Sortiliena both nodded just as the video feed cut out.
"All right, then, how are we going to handle this?" Sam wondered. "If Terrence is skulking around Beverly Hills, we might need to split up if we're going to tackle this problem at both ends."
"Sam, you should take Mat, Britney, Haruka, Bridget, and Nozomi with you and go find Terrence," Jerry proclaimed. "The rest of your team should head to Terrence's hideout and lend assistance to Nick and Sortiliena if possible."
"I was able to download the coordinates before the video feed cut off," RiCO stated. "I knew there was more to this than what we saw."
"And besides, when has Nick ever given us reason not to trust him?" Alex quipped.
"And it definitely helps that Nick can read people's minds," May giggled. "But enough stalling, you guys, let's go, go, GO!"
The twelve spies split into their respective teams and headed out to complete their objectives, hoping they could stop Terrence before worse came to worse.
2:17 P.M. – Terrence's Secret Hideout
"Man, this place would probably be hell for people who have no real sense of direction," Nick quipped as he and Sortiliena made their way through Terrence's hideout.
"I'll sadly admit that was me as a kid," Sortiliena admitted.
"But I'm still picking up someone's thoughts," Nick stated. "And since Terrence isn't here at the moment, then it could only be one person."
Sortiliena just nodded, hoping that Ronye was all right.
Thankfully, it only took a few more rooms to find what they were looking for, inside a large, arena-style room. It appeared to resemble a laboratory or control room of sorts, but what Nick and Sortiliena were searching for was resting in a reinforced glass bubble at the top-left of the room.
And she looked exactly like the girl in Sortiliena's picture.
"Ronye..." Sortiliena gasped.
That utterance seemed to rouse Ronye Arabel from her slumber, and she looked up to see who was calling her name, only to gasp in surprise when she noticed that it was her teacher.
"L-Liena?! How did you get here?!" Ronye gasped.
"Long story short, Ronye, we're here to bust you out of this dank place," Nick proclaimed, his aura flaring to life around him. "You might want to stand back just a bit."
Ronye did so, backing up to the opposite end of her cell as Nick floated into the air and rushed to attack the glass bubble with a psychic blade on his hand, rapidly slashing at the outer shell until the reinforced glass could take no more. Nick kicked the spot he'd attacked so that the battered glass cracked and shattered into small shards, leaving enough of a hole for Ronye to jump out and land on the floor.
Sortiliena wasted no time in running over and hugging Ronye tightly.
"Ronye, I was so scared..." Sortiliena cried. "I didn't want to know what he might have done to you while I couldn't do anything about it..."
"I was more worried about you, Liena," Ronye answered. "I was worried about what that jerk was making you do just because he had me hostage..."
"Well, that's all ancient history now," Nick quipped. "Because we're breaking outta here. Oh, by the way, my name's Nick Kelly, agent under Jerry Lewis, and Sortiliena's told me a lot about you, really. I'll ask for the full shtick once we're not in a place that's most likely trying to kill us."
Almost as if something had been waiting for Nick to say that, a small platoon of security robots came marching out of the shadows and directly towards them.
"Advice for heroes, number two," Nick groaned. "Sometimes, it's a good idea to keep your mouth shut!"
Three of the security robots tried to advance on Sortiliena, but Ronye jumped over to kick one of them in the head, which sent it crashing into another, then moving to the third, grabbing it by the waist, and suplexing it into another couple of robots, scattering them easily.
"Damn, Ronye, you've got some moves," Nick quipped.
"I was trained by one of W.O.O.H.P.'s best combat instructors, after all," Ronye giggled. "Wanna show Nick what I've learned, Liena?"
"Oh, you know it!" Sortiliena proclaimed as she and Ronye leaped to kick another two robots away from them, followed by snapping their legs down to kick more backwards.
Nick couldn't help but be impressed by how easily Ronye and Sortiliena were taking down the security robots, teacher and student working together gracefully to leave piles of busted robots at their feet.
However, still more robots emerged from the shadows.
"Guess Terrence got his bots on sale, huh?" Nick quipped.
"HERE COMES THE CAVALRY!"
Ronye ducked just in time as a giant metal ship anchor came spinning through the air and bounced off of one of the security robots, swiftly reducing it to scrap. May leaped up to catch her anchor and swipe at another robot, easily dispatching it.
"Rules for villains, number eighty-six," May giggled. "When using security robots, make sure they have sturdy armor."
With Alex, Clover, Blaine, Melissa, and Dawn showing up quickly after that, it wasn't much longer before the rest of the security robots laid in pieces on the floor.
"Oh, yeah, we bad!" Clover laughed as she high-fived Blaine.
"Guess we got here just in time, huh, big bro?" Melissa asked.
"You two should have seen Ronye stomping these things, too," Nick laughed. "She's got the moves."
Sortiliena looked over at Alex, who had initially been the most, well, irked about seeing her boyfriend with a possible traitor.
"Alex, if I can apologize again?" Sortiliena asked, shuffling her feet nervously, only to be surprised when Alex walked up to her, smiled, and flicked her on the forehead. "Ow! W-what was that for?"
"There. Now we're even," Alex giggled. "In case you're worried, Sortiliena, you don't have to be, since now we know who forced you to do what you did. And trust me, Terrence is gonna pay for what he's done, preferably with my boot heel all the way up his keester!"
"Let's actually save the heel-shoving for when we find Terrence," Sortiliena quipped. "Is that where everyone else is?"
"Yeah, we split the team in half so we could look for Terrence and possibly save your butts at the same time," Blaine responded. "We should probably join them, huh?"
"Actually, let's stick around this place for a bit first," Nick proclaimed. "I kinda want to see if Terrence left anything about his secret plan lying around here."
"Then let's go dig up info on the scheme!" May giggled.
And as the spies continued to explore the hideout, Sortiliena couldn't help but be thankful that the spies had forgiven her so quickly, especially considering they knew that Terrence was behind all of this.
And Sortiliena hoped the spies would let her personally shove her own foot up Terrence's keester for what he'd done to Ronye.
To be continued...
On the next episode...
Alex: Wow, this place is actually pretty elaborate for a psychopath.
May: Makes you wonder what exactly he's up to.
RiCO: Hey, Nick, are you guys still at the hideout?
Nick: What's the matter, RiCO?
RiCO: Remember how I said we're still transferring baddies from the old containment facility to the new one?
Melissa: That sound extremely ominous.
RiCO: Because Terrence didn't just free Willard for his plans! He also sprung all of the members of the LAMOS!
Sortiliena: Well, that's quite the pickle we found ourselves in, huh, readers? It looks like it's gonna be another unwanted posse that we have to beat down on, next time on Totally Spies: Come Undone, "The LAMOS Reunion"!
May: I swear, Terrence wasn't thinking correctly when he came up with that name.
