Cha 1

Her hurried steps were followed by two others that struggled to keep up.

"Shouldn't you slow down Bella? What if you were to fall?"

Bella placed a gentle hand to her large swollen stomach that held a baby girl inside. Her dark eyes narrowed before she turned swiftly to the two men that followed her, earning a flinch from each. "We were given specific instructions to track down the Longbottom's from the Dark Lord. We will not slow down."

Continuing on, Bellatrix searched and searched for the Longbottom's hidden home with a baby boy inside, one that could change Voldemort's future for worse. Her hand instinctively went to her stomach at the mere thought of it. She wanted nothing more than to rid of the monstrosity that gave the Dark Lord worry over his life, to see him smile warmly down at her as she tells him of her victory in ridding of the Longbottom's infant son. She needed this.

Not what came next.

Rodolphus' gasp is not what made Bella stop her tracks, it was the mere whisper that left his lips. "The Dark Lord."

Turning to her husband, she sees his sleeve pushed up to his elbow, exposing the Dark Mark that is now fading fast. Rabastan was next to follow suit and to see his mark also fading. Bella could feel the world spin around her as she pushed her sleeve up, hoping to see differently, anything else than what she was already seeing.

But as the mark lost it's color, Bella let out a howl of pain. "NO!"

Voldemort was dying.

Her sobs of anguish filled the night, her knees buckling and meeting the ground. Rodolphus and Rabastan immediately went to her side in concern of the baby. "We need to be at his side now!" She begged, trying to stand but was held still by her husband.

"Bella, wait. You are in need of a bed now."

Water pooled around her knees, understanding her water broke caused her panic. "No! Not now!"

Before she could register what was happening, Rodolphus apparated the two into their house and quickly lay her on her bed as she screamed. Everything seemed to blur and shine brightly around her as she was tended to, birthing a baby girl. A baby girl named Cassandra Lestrange.
