So... here we go again with a new story. Now this doesn't mean im stopping Sins of the Dead. I wrote this for two reasons:
1. Whenever im in a bad mood, my imagination tends to go dark and i use that imagination to write a bit. I have been in a mad mood for the past week, so i wrote a freaking new story.
2. As you probably know me by now, my interest changes as much as the freaking weather in Autumn/Spring, so recently i got interested in Dark Synchro Summoning. So my brain went 'Hey remember that story you wrote about the Earthbounds but never updated it again?' and then my brain added 'There is no story with a Dark Synchro Dimension!'. So here we are. Hopefully you will enjoy.
P.S: Im still debating over M or T rated. I might change it soon based on the response this story gets
In a dark forest, a person was running. From the pants, the person has been running for a long time and was getting tired. As it passed through a small clearing, the moonlight revealed the person.
You couldn't see their face due to a cloak covering upper half, but by body alone, it was clearly male, wearing a red shirt with a brown vest and grey pants. The cloak was dark with blue edges. He was carring a small sack that was filled to the brim.
The cloaked man looked around in panic, before sighing. "Looks like i lost him." He said before settling on the ground, opening the sack, revealing tons of gold coins, along with jewerly. The cloaked man chuckled. "With this, im set for life!"
"Yeah, too bad its a short one."
The cloaked man jumped as he looked around. "W-Whos there!?" He said, panicked. Suddendly, he heard footsteps behind him. Turning around, the cloaked man saw someone slwoly approaching him from the forest.
"Do you honestly think you could have gotten away from me, Grady?" The other person asked, coming out of the shadows of the forest. This one was also male, judging by the voice, and was wearing a similar cloak to the first man, but this one had brown edges instead. He was wearin underneath the cloak a black short sleeve jacket with brown edges, a dark brown shirt along with black pants and brown boots. He was also wearing gloves that went up to his elbows that followed the same color pattern. The only visible part of his face was the bottom part of his face, revealing his mouth.
"Damn it, i thought i lost you!" Grady said.
"Oh please, even if you somehow managed to evade me, i know these woods like the back of my hand. Finding you was as easy as taking candy from a baby." He said. "So you want to do this the hard way or easy way?"
"Grr…" Grady gritted his teeth, before he come up with something. "I-if you let me go, i'll let you have half of the gold!"
"Really? A bribe?" The cloaked person chuckled, a smirk on their face. "You do realize who im dating right?"
"Yeah, that whore of a princess…" Grady muttered under his breath.
Unfortunately, the cloaked person heard that as his smirk disappeared. "Congratulations…" He said as he removed his right arm from the cloak and raised it upwards. Suddendly, a mark shined on his arm. It was purple, having the shape of a dragon head. Purple flames came out of the ground and surrounded the two cloaked persons. "…you just chose the hard way."
"Fine, i'll just have to beat you and then im free!" Grady said, taking out his Duel Disk and activating it. It was completely black and it looked like the head of a dragon, the deck placed where its mouth would be. As he activated it, a blue blade appeared, resembling wings.
"Neither of those things are happening. By the way my name is Yuza" The cloaked person activated his Duel Disk as well. It was the same as Grady's, but his blade was red. " I just wanted to make sure you remembered the name of the one that sends you to hell"
DARK DUEL!
Yuza: 4000 LP
Grady: 4000 LP
"I'll go first! My turn!" Grady said. "I summon Blizzard Lizard." A blue lizzard appeared.
(LV 3 Water/Beast/Effect 600 ATK 1800 DEF)
"I set one card face-down and end my turn." Grady said
"My turn. Draw. I summon Searthvant Boulder Bull." Yuza said as a bull with horns made out of rocks appeared.
(LV 4 Earth/Rock/Effect 1800 ATK 800 DEF)
"Battle! Boulder Bull attacks your Blizzard Lizard!" Yuza said as his monster rushed to the monster, destroying it.
Grady: 4000 – 1200 = 2800 LP
Suddendly, a gust of cold win hit Yuza. However, he was unfazed. "What happened?" He asked, curious.
Yuza: 4000 - 300 = 3700 LP
"You destroyed my Blizzard Lizard. When he is destroyed, you receive 300 points of damage." Grady explained. "It was stupid of you to attack recklessly."
"Says the one that left it in Attack Position." Yuza murmured. "I set one card face-down and end my turn."
"My turn! Draw!" Grady said. He smirked darkly at the card he drew. "Looks like this duel is over. First i activate my face-down, Call of the Haunted to bring back my Blizzard Lizard! Then i activate the Spell Card Ice Mirror. With this, i target one Level 3 or lower Water-Attribute monster and Special Summon a copy from my deck!" A second Blizzard Lizard appeared. "I activate another Ice Mirror and target my Blizzard Lizard with it to Special Summon a third one!" Grady said as a third copy of monster appeared.
"I then tribute two of my Blizzard Lizard to Tribute Summon the Dark Tuner, Catastrophe!"
A devil with one eye appeared. It had wings and a horn. Strangely, he was ripped in half anda round his torso there was a dark orb. (LV 8 Dark/Fiend/Dark Tuner/Effect 0 ATK 0 DEF)
Grady began to laugh. "I Dark tune my Level 8 Catastrophe with my Level 3 Blizzard Lizard!" He said as Catastrophe turned into 8 stars of light and went inside Blizzard Lizard, turning him transparent. 3 of the stars were destroyed and with a howl of pain, Blizzard Lizard was destroyed, the stars coming out, now turned dark, circling around.
"When darkness overlaps with darkness, the doors of the underworld will open to a world without light! Dark Synchro! Come forth! Frozen Fitzgerald!"
(LV -5 Water/Fiend/Dark Synchro/Effect 2500 ATK 2500 DEF)
"When Catastrophe is used for a Dark Synchro Summon, i can destroy one card my opponent controls! I destroy your Boulder Bull!" Grady said as Catastrophe appeared and flew towards Boulder Bull, destroying both.
"Is that all?" Yuza said, bored.
"Nope! I activate Megamorph to double my monster ATK points!" Grady said as his monster grew double in size.
(Frozen Fitzgerald: 2500 X 2 = 5000 ATK)
"Battle! Frozen Fitzgerald attacks directly and i activate his effect! When he attacks, you can't activate Spell or Traps!" Grady said as Fitzgerald fired icicles at Yuza, hitting him and exploding on contact, creating a cloud of smoke.
"Hahahahaha! Guess the number one Duelist was just all talk!" Grady gloated as he laughed.
"Said the pot to the kettle."
Grady stopped laughing as he saw from the cloud of Smoke, Yuza emerge without his hoodie on, revealing his brown spiky hair, along with two black tatoos running down on both sides of his face. The strangest thing was his eyes. They were yellow, but instead of the rest being white, it was black.
Yuza: 200 LP
"What!? How are you…!?"
"Still alive? I activated the effect of Searthvant Gardna in my hand. When i receive a direct attack, i can Special Summon this card in ATK Position and halve the damage. When he is Special Summoned by this Effect, he isn't destroyed by battle until the end of the turn." He said as he gestured to a knight in rock armor holding a shield made out of rock as well. (LV 4 Earth/Rock/Effect 1000 ATK 1000 DEF)
"And since my LP dropped lower than yours, Megamorph Effect now halves Frozen Fitzgerald original ATK points!"
Frozen Fitzgerald went from being double in size to its original size, to then shrinking, being half its original size.
(Frozen Fitzgerald: 5000 / 2 = 2500 / 2 = 1250 ATK)
"I end my turn." Grady said.
"I activate the Trap Card, Damage Pebble. This card can only be activated at the End Phase of my opponent turn. If i received damagethis turn, i can Special Summon one Pebble Token and if in one of the battles i received more than 2000 points of damage, i can Special Summon another one." Yuza said as two rocks appeared.
"My turn. Draw!" Yuza glanced at the card he drew and smirked darkly. "Looks like this duel is over, but its for real this time. I release my two Pebble Tokens to Tribute Summon Dark Tuner, Searthvant Desynchron!"
A small floating rock with two purple eyes that were on fire appeared. There were three orbs of purple fire surrounding, connected with chains. It had a open mouth, its lower jaw floating, a dark orb floating inside of him.
(LV 8 Earth/Rock/Dark Tuner/Effect 0 ATK 0 DEF)
"I Dark Tune my Level 4 Searthvant Gardna with my Level 8 Searthvant Desynchron!" Yuza said as the same thing happened on the previous turn. Searthvant Desynchron turned into eight stars, going inside of Searthvant Gardna, destroying and 4 black stars coming out of it.
"Dragon of the underworld! Awaken from your deep slumber and plunge this world of light into darkness! Dark Synchro! Appear, Level – 4! Geo Abyss Dark Synchro Dragon!"
A dragon came out of the dark portal as It stood on four legs, its scales being replaced by volcanic rocks. On its back were two volcanoes. The rest of the lava travelled its body. It had two red eyes as it roared
(LV -4 Earth/Dragon/Dark Synchro/Effect 2500 ATK 2000 DEF)
"Battle! Geo Abyss Dark Synchro Dragon attacks Frozen Fitzgerald! Volcanic Burst!" Yuza said as Geo Abyss volcanos began erupting from the bottom to the top, before shooting a lava attack from its mouth, destroying the monster.
Grady: 2800 - 1250 = 1550 LP
"Gah!" Grady gasped in pain. "But at this moment, Frozen Fitzgerald Effect activates! When he is destroyed, after the battle ends, if there are no monsters on my side of the field, i can Special Summon him in Defense Mode!" Frozen Fitzgerald returned to the field. "And when the Battle Phase ends, all of the monsters that attacked him are destroyed! With this, you're finished!"
Yuza merely smirked in response. "Are you sure about that?" He said.
"Eh?" Grady said in response.
Yuza raised his arm. "Geo Abyss Dark Synchro Dragon effect activates! Once per turn, when a monster is Normal or Special Summoned, i can negate that summon and destroy it! Volcanic Meteor!" He explained as Geo Abyss volcanoes on its back erupted, but this time more fiercely, creating a meteor shower that rained down upon Frozen Fitzgerald, destroying it. "Then you receive damage equal to that monster original ATK!" The rest of the meteor shower hit Grady as he screamed in pain.
Grady: 1550 – 2500 = 0 LP
Winner: Yuza
Grady was on the ground, struggling to get up. Yuza merely grabbed the sack, which was probably blasted away in that final attack. "You lost. You know what that means." He said.
"Please, spare me!" Grady begged for his life. "I promise i won't rob again!"
"Even if you were honest, which i can easily tell you are not, i wasn't planning on letting you live anyway." Yuza said before he snapped his fingers. "Judgement!"
"Nooooooo!" Grady screamed as the circle of fire around the two duelists began getting smaller and smaller, passing through Yuza with him not even flinching before stopping around Grady. The circle turned into a tower of fire, completely engulfing Grady, his screams of pain slowly being turned silent. When the fire cleared, a pile of ash was all that was left of Grady, along with Frozen Fitzgerald laying at the top.
Yuza walked forward and picked the card up, cleaning it a bit before pocketing it. "Mission accomplished. Now i can go home and-" He said as he began to walk away before his mark started to blink. "Oh for the love-" He raised his arm to his chest and looked at it. "What?"
The mark began to glow, a projection of a silver haired girl appearing. "Hey Yuza."
"What is it, Yami?" He asked, a bit more softly once he realized who it was.
"I was just calling to see when are you going to arrive. Its about to start." She answered.
"Arrive… where?" Yuza asked, raising an eyebrow in confusion.
"Uh, to my duel, Yuza. You know, the one that we have been talking about for the past month?" The girl said before sighed. "Please tell me you didn't forget."
Oh crap baskets… Yuza thought. "N-No, as a matter of fact im almost there! See you soon!" He said as he began to run.
"Okay, see you soon!" Yami said cheerfully, before the projection faded.
"Crap." Yuza said before sighing. "Im pretty sure its going to take me an hour to take this to the castle and go back to the colliseum in time to see the duel." He groaned. "I am SO dead…"
Yuza heard the sound of chuckling. He frowned as he took his ace monster out. "Not helping, Geo." He said, pocketing the card once again and beginning to run as fast as he could.
