Hey guys, Berserker1003 here, this is a rewrite of my old story Demon Naruto from my old account; TheBattleMaster1003. Hope that you guys enjoy this prologue and I will try to release the next chapter soon.

~Naruto's POV~

Naruto looks up and sees the Hokage Mountain above the huge building in front of him. He sighs and walks into the building to find his classroom. He purposely arrived earlier than when he was supposed to as he didn't want to be late on the first day. He takes a look around the room and notices a girl around his age, sitting in the front, and thinking about something before noticing his presence.

~Girl's POV~

I snap out of thinking about what the academy will be like, due to a boy coming into the room. I sigh at this as I hope he doesn't try to make friends with me because of my family name. He starts walking towards me, and as I start to raise my mask for dealing with these kinds of people, he smiles and offers his hand while saying, "Do you want to be my friend?"

~Naruto's POV~

I see the girl snap back in shock for some reason and waits until she responds. "Do you know who I am?" I look at her confusedly as I respond with a simple, "Should I?"

~Girl's POV~

"He doesn't know who I am. SCORE! I can finally be friends with someone who doesn't know about me." "No, it's nothing important, my name's Satsuki, and what's yours."

~Naruto's POV~

"My name's Naruto Uzumaki, now back to my question, will you be my friend," I ask Satsuki, finding it weird that she didn't mention her last name, but just pushed down my curiosity for now.

~Satsuki's POV~

"Yes, Naruto-kun, I will be your friend." I see Naruto's eyes widen before he starts jumping in the air in celebration. "Why would he be celebrating as if he made friends with someone with high standing if he didn't know who I was. It's like he's celebrating having a friend for the fir..." "Naruto-kun, am I you're first friend?"

~Naruto's POV~

I freeze when I hear what Satsuki says to me. I turn to face her and slowly nods. She gasps, gets up, and starts walking to me. "Satsuki-chan, did...did I do something?" She doesn't say anything and simply walks up to me with her hair covering her eyes. Satsuki grabs my hand, drags me over to where she was sitting, and forces me to sit down. "Naruto," she says coldly. I flinch quickly at the sound of her voice and then her voice softens as she asks, "Do you live with your parents?" I instantly flinch again when she says parents and apparently that was all that she needed.

~Satsuki's POV~

"That makes so much sense, his reaction to being my friend, flinching when I went all cold on him." "Naruto... do you... know who your parents are." He flinches again and looks down as he quietly says, "No, I don't. I don't even know if they were traitors or if they were loyal shinobi's." I gasp in shock from this and simply scoot closer to Naruto before grabbing his head and pulling him in, before hugging him. At first, Naruto gasps and tries to scoot away, but I keep holding on, and eventually, he accepts the kindness that he should have received long before this.

~Naruto's POV~

"So this is what it's like to have someone actually care for you. Thank you Satsuki-chan for giving me this." I sense that someone is coming and quickly backs away from Satsuki. She looks confused for a minute before realizing where they were and what time it was.

~Satsuki's POV~

"Don't talk to me during class, I'll tell you why later." Naruto just nods at this before rushing to the opposite side of the classroom. He makes it just in time before a chunnin walks into the room, takes a look around the classroom, and goes to sit on the desk.

I watch as kids start flowing into class and start sitting with whoever their friends were. "Hey do you want to be my friend," a kid with red marks on his face says towards me. I give him a glare telling him to fuck off. He backs away and goes to sit with a pink-haired girl in the middle row. I sigh at this reminder of reality, that not everyone is like Naruto, who doesn't care where you came from or what your family name is.

The teacher starts roll call and I listen closely, mostly to gain information about my classmates that might be of some use.

~After the Academy~

Satsuki stands outside the classroom door waiting for Naruto. As she had expected, the class was a complete waste and consisted of introducing themselves. She sees Naruto come out of the classroom and gestures for him to follow her. Luckily, Naruto picks up on this and proceeds to follow Satsuki into a secluded alley.

"Naruto," Satsuki starts, "the reason why I told you to sit away from me was that my clan is very popular and people usually try to be friends with me so that they can have as a share of that glory. If you show that you are my friend, people are going to spite you and prevent you from interacting with anyone else so.." Naruto cuts her off there and simply says, "Its fine Satsu-chan, I'm already used to it if people decide to hate me, if they hate and despise me for that simple reason, then they weren't going to be good friends anyways."

Satsuki's eyes widen at this and sighs, "There really isn't going to be any way for me to dissuade you is there?" Naruto shakes his head and smiles. Satsuki smiles at this too and offers for him to come train with her. He agrees and they start to head to the nearest training grounds. They didn't know this, but this was the start of something that would change the entire Elemental Nation.
