Confusion formed in Supergirl's eyes as soon as Amos appeared near trees. They were on the latter's sudden scowl.
''I had to drop everything so that I could prevent a creature from injuring you. There were sermon papers I had to sort.''
''Fun,'' Supergirl muttered while she frowned. After Supergirl heard footsteps, she looked ahead. Her body tensed the minute one animal appeared. When it crouched and snarled near them. ''I'll be fine. I'll protect you,'' she said to Amos.
Supergirl brought her fists down on the creature's back after she flew to it. She kneed one side of its form and kicked its tail.
One smile replaced her frown when it fled. Her eyes were on Amos another time.
Supergirl and Amos eventually went to one kitchen.
After Supergirl approached one fridge, she opened the door. She located one chocolate cake and held the plate. Eyes were wide the minute the cake was dropped. When it contacted the floor and caused Amos to scowl again.
''I dropped everything. You dropped everything,'' Amos said to Supergirl.
