Hermione Granger was in a bar called "Granny" in Crime Alley, in Gotham. It was a seedy bar, one that a long time ago, being the spoiled, creepy little girl that she was, she wouldn't have even thought of going in. Pig's head was much better! But the responsible and rule-abiding girl was a thing of the past.
She was not ashamed to say that at thirty-three she was single, unrelated and still living with her parents, because sometimes she felt too lonely and the loneliness and the effects of the war still lingered on her. She sometimes traveled, mostly to remind herself that she could still fend for herself. A few months ago Malfoy had found her in a bar in New York, just after being discharged after an operation to tie her fallopian tubes. Voluntarily, she had decided that she did not want children, choosing herself above what society dictated to her and the possible wishes of her possible partner. She wanted to enjoy herself for the rest of her life, without worrying about the issue of motherhood. And if her partner didn't like it, she was fine too, it was her decision and her body after all!
After much thought, She had decided to decline Malfoy's offer. She did not want to associate with any of her former companions. Gone are the school days! She did not want to relive any moment. The past is past. Now she had her life. But sometimes her stress and anxiety took their toll on her, that's when she traveled to rest her mind and relax.
She had stayed longer than usual in Gotham. It was all the fault of a vigilante named Red Hood! An idiot had tried to rob her, but he hadn't counted on her knowing how to defend herself against it. Typical. They see a girl walking alone down a dark alley in Gotham and automatically think that she is helpless. The guy was already on the ground, clutching her parts, when Red Hood shot him.
"It's better this way," said Red Hood when she looked at him. "It's not that I think syou can't defend yourself, miss, but the next woman he attacks might not give as good beatings as you do. Although I had a hard time making up my mind, I didn't know who the victim was."
"Then why didn't you shoot me?" Hermione asked. Red Hood laughed, clearly amused. Hermione smiled.
"It would be a loss for this world to lose so much beauty." Red Hood replied, turning around. Hermione had a feeling that if he hadn't had the hood on, he would have winked at her. "Besides, you're talking to a vigilante, armed and you don't even blink. The world needs more women like you."
Chivalrous, gentle, flirtatious and good with weapons! He was definitely her type. That night had been the first time she had gone to "Granny", a bar that was just around the corner. There she found a man her age, dark hair with a streak of white. She was watching him from a distance. Maybe she was projecting her Red Hood fantasies onto him, but every time she saw him she was ogling him. Most of the time, the man read a book. In different languages! Among them, Old Persian and Latin. Sometimes Hermione wanted to come up and ask him anything. His name, what he was reading, if She could buy him a drink. She had already been in Gotham for a month. This man had managed to diminish her Gryffindor's courage from her! Something that not even Voldemort himself had achieved.
"Are you ever going to ask me out or are you still going to stare at me from your table?" The man asked. Hermione blinked, not sure how to respond. She had been looking at him and thinking about all the things she wanted to do to him and she hadn't realized that he had approached her. "I have frequented the place more often than usual because a beautiful woman kept looking at me and her eyes promise to do unimaginable things to me that, without a doubt, I will enjoy."
Hermione laughed, blushing. Flirtatious! The man smiled and sat down next to her. He offered his hand and when she shook it, he kissed her palm. Hermione was wet. This man turned her on like no one had ever turned her on before.
"My name is Jason."
"Hermione Granger." She answered.
They started talking about books. The sun was rising and the waiter asked them to leave. They had been talking all night! Jason was intelligent, with fluent vocabulary and intelligent conversation, he had managed to keep her interest without falling into pedantry and without belittling her. He valued her opinions and it was easy to carry on a conversation with him. Hermione spoke to him in Latin, Persian, Ancient Greek and he answered her in the same language and she could easily follow her conversation! By the end of the night, Hermione had increased her heart rate, she felt valued.
"I had a great time, Hermione." Jason said. "If I had known how you are, I would have sat with you earlier, instead of wasting time looking at you from a distance, wondering who the poor idiot would be who left you alone or hasn't the guts to get close.
Hermione stopped in the middle of the street, grabbing Jason's arm. Without giving him time to react, she kissed him, something she had wanted to do all night. It seemed that Jason liked women with courage and that was something that she did not lack, although in his presence it had disappeared. But here, with the rays of the sun lighting his face as he told her how much he had enjoyed her presence, she needed to kiss him and quench her thirst. But her kissing him only made her love him more and when Jason moved his hands to grasp her waist as he kissed her like there was no tomorrow, Hermione rubbed against her crotch and was very tempted to get carried away in that same alley. But Jason withdrew, not letting go, smiling.
"It's not that I'm complaining about the situation." Jason said. "But I don't want passersby to see me walking around with an erection, although I'm sure men would understand when they saw you. I do not care! If the wait weren't so painful, I wouldn't have any complaints.
"We can go to my house." Hermione said. "No one will see us there and we have time."
"And then we can plan the next date." Jason said offering his arm. "There is no sane man who looks at you and does not want to possess you. Your beauty and intelligence make me want you and I will not waste your time with me!"
"What if I want to tie you to the bed and ride you dry?" Hermione asked, half joking. It was one of her fantasies, but she first had to find out his limits. She wanted Jason to enjoy about it too.
"Don't worry, precious." Jason replied. "We don't have to look for any safe words. You can do whatever you want to me for as long as you want. Afterwards, I'll take my time to thank you. The world needs more women like you."
That phrase…
Jason winked at her, Hermione understood instantly and smiled. Playfully, she slapped his arm. She was not wrong in choosing him, and she rightly felt safe with him! She would be staying in Gotham for the time being, there would be time to go home.
