Anzu prided herself in being the top producer of the Producer Association. Of course, she had had a head start when she transferred into Yumenosaki as the first and only female student in the trial producer course, but that didn't discredit any of the hard work she put into the past two years. In this time, she'd been able to see the idols she knew and loved, her friends, grow into promising individuals, truly letting their dreams bloom. And even if she didn't notice, she herself had been growing and improving as a producer, which was why, despite having an entire class of students in the Producer Association, she was still called on for many jobs. Even now, she was juggling designing costumes and writing proposals and scheduling jobs for her clients and on top of all that, Eichi had asked her to lead an important procedure, one that he said would "break change throughout all of ES".

"Thank you for coming, Anzu-chan," Eichi said when she entered his office, "I'm sure you're busy, so I'll keep this quick. I want you to host an international transfer student."

Another transfer student, one apparently not from Japan? Eichi sure was expanding.

"I'll be arranging things so that both you and the new transfer student can dorm at ES. The building I have planned for both of you to stay is close to the train station, so you'll easily be able to go visit your family during the day and she'll be able to attend the university nearby."

"Is she not a producer?" Anzu asked.

"That is confidential," Eichi responded, "and I will be able to inform you more as time goes on. But first, I need to know if you'll accept the job."

Anzu stayed silent for a moment, considering her options.

"Your face looks perplexed, Anzu, but I assure you this won't be a terrible job. The transfer student is still a beginner at speaking Japanese, but she is determined to learn. I've told her about you, and she seems excited to meet you. Besides, it must be lonely being the only girl in your social circle."

"There are lots of girls in the Producer Association, Eichi-senpai."

"There are, but they either look at your accomplishments with jealousy or look up to you as if you were an untouchable idol. At any rate, you seem to busy yourself with work so much that you do not have time to make friends with the other producers."

This was true. Anzu had turned herself into a workaholic in the past years, and didn't really have time for leisure. It wasn't that she opposed taking breaks, but more that she felt useless and empty if she were not working. Dorming with a roommate might mean that she'd actually have to sleep at night, unless her roommate was also obsessed with work. But she didn't want to disappoint Eichi or the new transfer student, who would be all alone in a foreign country.

"All right, Eichi-senpai, I'll take the role to foster the international transfer student."

"Perfect," Eichi said, "She will be coming in about a month. I'll take care of all other arrangements, but I'd like you to be there at the airport to pick her up on that day."

"I'll be there."

Anzu left Eichi's office, not really knowing the adventure she was about to embark on. But if it was anything else like what she had been through after she had been a transfer student herself, things were about to get busy, maybe even chaotic. It was quite nostalgic, really.
