"Jesus Christ! Stop!" Nick yelled to no avail, his voiced was overshadowed by the anguished yells of Kenny; as Carlos and Mike held him back. The group could merely watch in pure shock and horror as Carver continued to viciously beat the child.

The girl only lasted two hits before she succumbed to complete darkness. You'd think the man would stop maybe after a few hits but he didn't. He continued, he didn't stop; it didn't even seem like he was going to. Blood fully shadowed the child's face, the bottom of the walkie-talkie had shattered; all cords, the motherboard, completely covered in chunks of flesh.

One after the other, the punches just kept coming.

"Bill!" Bonnie ran into the pen, ak in hands. "That's enough, Bill! Please!" A full grimace was etched onto the redhead's features when she saw the child. "Bill, there's a breach," She pleaded.

The madman threw her a glance, his furious expression shook her. He punched the child one last time, making her temple collide onto the ground. She laid there, motionless, unconscious; all of her energy, completely drained from her. She knew punishment was due, she knew Carver wasn't going to let her off scot-free; she merely expected a strong backhand, not getting her face bashed in. She wanted to hold out during the savage beating, appear strong in front of the people she loved - the only family she had left.

Vulnerability was something the girl hated. Showing her pain in front of everyone to see, witness. Her determination to appear strong was instantly taken away as the punches kept coming, the pain was too much for her to bare and eventually she fell unconscious.

"All right, everyone come with me." Carver tossed, the destroyed walkie-talkie to the side. His eyes met Kenny's, still being held back by the two men. "Bonnie, you stick around, make sure these folks don't get into anymore trouble."

The redhead couldn't find it in herself to speak. stunned by the scene that had just took place in front of her - something she stopped, but she didn't realize it.

"No supper for y'all t'night!" The madman turned back, standing by the gate and his fists clenched. "Maybe an empty stomach would give you some perspective and we'll try this again tomorrow!" Carver's lapdog, Troy closed the gate and the pen was now filled with a deafening silence; even Kenny had stopped struggling.

When Carlos had finally registered that he'd stopped, he walked over to the child and he gently picked her up. When the girl was brought back to the cabin for bite on her arm, he was distrustful of her. He did not believe that a child like her, was wondering around the woods on her own and for that he considered her a threat.

But when the group had gotten to know her, they realized that she wasn't as much of a threat as they originally thought. They grew close to her and she became a trusted member of the group. He recalled locking her in the shed and he couldn't help but feel regret.

He was going to bring her over to the one and only bed in the pen when Kenny stopped him, "You better fuckin' fix her!" He snapped.

The hispanic man didn't feel threatened, despite the severe injury plaguing the child's face. "I will do my best," He simply said.

"You're gonna have to, Carlos because we're leavin'... to night." Surprised, all aside from Jane, everyone looked at the redhead. "We're leavin' to night," she sternly said.

Carlos's stare remained on her for a few moments before he looked back down at the unconscious child. This will be difficult.

Hang in there, Clementine.
