It was an astonishing sunny day for a tiny village in Brazil, right in the middle of the monsoon season. It had been raining for a month neigh non-stop until that day, and it was really in need for the people living there. Only did the heavy rains keep their most devastating enemy, the Hydra, away. The tribe, the Luazul, had been in war against that malicious organization for centuries. The indigenous people continuously sabotaged and exterminated their plans, ruined their altars and equipment and saved many people secretively from them. No reward did the Luazul people receive for their actions, but they did not bother, knowing that they were on the right trail.

Yumirah, the wife of the chieftain, opened the door of her hut, ready for the work on the field of reeds, which was not more than 2 km-s far from the village. She saw the children running in circles on the open assembly area. She smiled for that her daughter joined them in the game.

- So precious they are. – said Gergo, the chieftain, as he put one hand onto her left shoulder behind – I am just getting reminded for the moments, when we played in the jungle nearby as kids.

- Yes. – nodded Yumirah, and closed her eyes in her joy and looked up the sky after that – Everybody grows up once, and a child is a blessing. Our neighbor can breastfeed my baby son, while I am away in the field.

- Sure, she can. – replied Gergo.

(Somewhere else)

In a military base belonging to the capital of Brazil, a general, named José, stood in front of a pulpit, presumably for the action of making speech in front of 2000 soldiers at least. He took a deep breath and began his speech in a volume of proudness like never before.

- Soldiers! – he shouted into the microphones – General José is standing in front of you and speaking up to you! You are the safety and hope for this country! A fire with smoke trembling the skies, a teeth sharper than crocodile teeth! We have been performing with excellence in defending this world, still, there are jobs to be done, only by you! I am familiar with enemies living in our country, and nothing has been done yet against this issue! Until this day! Today, I hereby start the operation: glorious salvation of the homeland! Follow me, and make Brazil a better place!

The entire audience shouted a hooray as a form of total submission to the words of the general. Little did they know that they got just deceived. No idea did they have about the consequences of this so "glorious" action.

The hype was so real that the base became like a buzzy anthill. Queues of soldiers passing equipment from one vehicle to another. Among the soldiers, there were foreigners too. One of them was Janos, who didn't mention his last name, so he was signed in as Janos Void. He was a 27 years old man with brown hair and eyes, white skin and enthusiasm for being the technician.

- General mentioned cease strike, so carpet bombs will do it. – said Janos to the pilots with deep and confident voice – I have made the calculations about the target place, and the iteration for the aerial strike. I am not allowed to drive a plane or package in the bombs, but my mind helped the intellectual part.

Engines started with a high volume that the small animals lurking on the trees nearby fled away. Five massive heavy bomber planes set off. Janos was sitting in one of them with a cameraman, who was given the task of filming the entire operation. General José, that old man with wrinkles and black glass, was in the first one in the convoy.

(Back in the village of Luazul)

Yumirah just freshly came back from the reeds field, when she noticed the masses of parrots flying away from the palm trees at the village's border. That was unusual for her, because these little feathered fellows of the Luazul people feared nothing and nobody, as they were supposed to. The some seconds long silence after it was broken with a massive explosion, which hit the eastern wall of the village.

Soon that one was followed by other explosions. The carpet bombs hit every possible area of the village. The huts were literally torn into shreds. The villagers screamed in horror, had not even a chance of running to safety. They could not understand the meaning of this. Gergo froze for the sight. His village of 1314 people was in the situation of getting obliterated and he could do nothing against it. He flew to the ground by the last explosion.

(One hour later)

General José entered into the now destructed village with his soldiers. The filming was still on. An order was given out to seek survivors. Janos could not believe his eyes. When he assigned for being in the party under the command of General José, he thought he would end up in a good place for a job. His parents nagged him for not being in a job position, they wanted him to be, but being a soldier for a while and getting unemployed. He had a knowledge about that indigenous people are not bad at all, so this sight hit his heart. The operation's target was a village of indigenous people. That was hard to bear.

The cameraman was struggling with holding back his tears too, for the reason that he also realized that he was a tool in a hand of an outrageous man. The soldiers walked around the dirt and ruins, tossing all the bodies they could find. It seemed that nobody have survived the destruction, until the moment Janos screamed a massive no into the air by the sight of the severely injured Yumirah.

He could see the tears in her green eyes. Her black hair was full of dirt, her clothes were torn, wounds on all her limbs, face and abdomen. She tried to rise up one hand towards to him, trembling.

- What happened? – she said in a meek and weak voice.

Janos shook his head in his anger. This was not him. Having realized that General José used his knowledge for this madness, he let out a roar in pain.

- GENERAL JOSÉ! – yelled Janos – WHAT DID WE DO?

- What is the matter PJ94? – asked General José sarcastically.

- DON'T CALL ME BY MY NUMBER! – roared Janos – WE JUST KILLED A VILLAGE OF INDIGENOUS PEOPLE! THEY WERE NOT OUR ENEMIES!

- My ones they were! – whispered General José in a shifty way.

- Your ones? – trembled Janos in his state of filled with stimulations – There is only one man or…group of men, that turns humans against each other in a country such a way…the Hydra!

- You found it out. – gnashed General José his teeth.

- How…HOW COULD YOU USE ME AND THOSE MEN? – raged Janos as he pointed at him.

- What did you think son? – asked General José trying to show himself correct – You supposed that this country's system is for the people? You thought that these jungle people are for us? No! They caused trouble for us!

- No! – replied some soldiers from the company – The Luazul people meant no harm to Brazil!

- Still, they did for me! – growled General José – I read a book from Hydra, and after that did I understand, that their ways of reshaping the world were not evil at all. It is everybody else, who is not Hydra and says no to Hydra are evil! These Indians had been stopping our methods from coming true for centuries, so they deserved death!

- Mad man! – shouted Janos with other soldiers, who instantly disagreed with José.

- Saying no to me, aren't you? – said General José sarcastically, as the deserter soldiers started to wrestle with the ones, who sticked to him.

- Why did I assign for being a Brazilian soldier? – held Janos his hands into fists and shook them madly – Why didn't I know sooner what you were about? Why did you play with us like ragdolls? Why did ensure that…

Before Janos could finish speaking, he was shot with a serum onto the back of his neck. It was supposed to be an instant tranquilizer, but somehow it was mixed with another kind of serum. Instead of slowing down and knocking him out, it made Janos shake uncontrollably. Then his muscles began to grow, just as Popeye's when he eats spinach, or should it be said: like the Hulk's.

Janos grew into a 2.4 meters tall, massive, Hulk-like creature, with the only difference of not having green skin color. He roared in his sorrow, the ear waxes fell out of the ear canals of everybody, who was there. Nobody could withstand what they saw without trembling. Janos began to beat the remaining soldiers loyal to General José unconscious.

Yumirah, who witnessed all this ordeal from its beginning, understood that Janos was mainly fighting for her. Her heart was letting in a little relief, knowing that she may not die. A little hope, something to hope for.

Janos kept fighting hard against the soldiers and smashing the equipment, that General José took the chance and ran away into the deep woods. Some soldiers noticed that and went after him with web and rifles.

Janos stopped fighting and looked at the remaining soldiers with teary eyes and heavy breathes.

- No more indigenous lives shall be taken away! – he whispered with meek voice as he picked up Yumirah and left the area with her.
