"Flushing Street. Last Stop, please exit the subway car if this is your stop", the robotic voice of the intercom crackled overhead.
May Parker looked up to see she had reached the end of the line. She cursed herself and realized she missed her stop, that was another fifteen minutes gone that she'll never get back. "Time..", the word echoed in her mind and left a bad taste in her mouth. How much time had she ridden this subway, how many times had she lived in New York, how many years had she been married. All of these insignificant things in her life she never really counted had become money she spent and now it seemed that she was going to be cashed out pretty soon.
