Dragon Ball GT Meets Dragon Ball Super
Part IV: Super Shadow Threat Saga
Previously on Dragon Ball GT Meets Dragon Ball Super, Goku (Super) and Vegeta (Super) landed back to the present timeline after defeating the Shadow Dragons! Goku and Vegeta trained in their respective ways and achieved new levels of unheard-of power! After going to Trunks' future, they managed to seal Future Zamasu and eradicate Goku Black! Once they returned to the present timeline, they were met by Lord Beerus! He challenged the GT Duo to a sparring match, after noting how strong they seemed! After ending in a draw, the GT Duo challenged the Super Duo the day later! Despite their grit and Super Saiyan 4 God Power, they weren't able to overcome Super Saiyan 4 Blue's power stacked with Kaioken x10! Once the GT Duo left to go to their timeline, what lies ahead for the Super timeline and what new threats will arise?!
Chapter I: Come Forth Shenron! Grant My Wish!
Once the GT Duo left to go back to their timeline, Goku, Vegeta, and Trunks decided it was time to relax before Trunks must go back to his time. However, something clicked in Goku's head and the threat that is hidden can't be ignored! It must be resolved now! However, what is this threat?
"Hehe! They were really strong Vegeta!" Goku remarked
"Hmph. Remember not to slack in your training Kakarot! We don't know if they will reach a new form!"
"Right! Now that I think about it, before coming back to this timeline, we had to face these Shadow Dragons right?"
"What about it?"
"Shadow Dragons? What's that about Father?" Trunks asks
"They are Dragons born from negative energy from these Earth Dragon Balls. Chances are that they are near the limit at the moment. We actually don't know when these evil dragons will come out, but we can't let our guard down!" Vegeta explains "You are wrong Vegeta!" Goku remarks
"In what regard Kakarot?!"
"We don't have to wait for them to appear if we know they exist." "What are you planning Kakarot?"
"Isn't it obvious? We are going to find the Dragon Balls and ask Shenron to release those Shadow Dragons! Granted they are going to be weaker than what we encountered, but it is better to take care of it now than wait until Shenron is at its limit and flies off into the unknown, as it almost happened in that timeline."
"I hate your idea Kakarot, but it just might work. You going to come with us Trunks?"
"Uh- sure Father."
"Good. This will be some extra training for you before we get you another time machine."
"Alright, that settles that. Now, grab on to me. We are going to pay Dende a visit!"
Goku then uses Instant Transmission to go to The Lookout, where they intend to ask Dende if he could reactivate the Dragon Balls early. If he is able to, Goku should be able to track down the Dragon Balls and summon Shenron!
*pops in* "Yo!"
"Oh hey Goku, what can I do for you?"
"Is it possible for you to reactivate the Dragon Balls right now?"
"What seems to be the issue?"
"We need to expel the negative energy from the Dragon Balls. They are hidden, but it is there. If left unchecked, it will ravage earth in 13 years." "How do you know?"
"Let's just say we accidentally went to a timeline where we had to face those Dragons. If we release them now, they are going to be weaker than what we actually encountered."
"I see… Well, since this is a pressing matter that you are sure of, I can reactivate them. Just be sure to do it in the next 24 hours." Dende remarked "Not a problem!"
"Very well. Let me get started."
Dende went ahead and grabbed the Shenron model left in the depths of the Lookout. At the same time, he noticed a pedestal with something covered by a blanket. As a precaution, he took it with him to the outside of the Lookout. Dende first put down the Shenron model and reactivated the Dragon Balls. In a flash of light, Shenron went to where the Dragon Balls were around the world, and thus reactivating them! "Alright! Thanks Dende! But, what is that in your other hand?"
"I am not sure. Let me check…"
As Dende took off the cloth surrounding the mysterious pedestal, Mr. Popo was left in utter shock and fell back.
"Are you alright Mr. Popo?!" Dende asked
"That isn't good!" Mr. Popo declared
"What is it?" Goku asked
"Those are the Black Star Dragon Balls. Originally, before the previous Kami split with into two separate beings, he created these Dragon Balls. However, because he survived with his offspring, that being the current Piccolo you know, these Dragon Balls are still active. These Dragon Balls stronger than present Dragon Balls, however, if a wish is made on these balls, these get scattered across the whole universe."
"Why did the previous Kami leave them there unattended though?" Dende asked
"He didn't think anyone would find them as easily."
"Interesting… Wait a second Popo, I'll be back." Goku said
In a flash, Goku disappeared and re-appeared with Piccolo at his side.
"What the hell Goku?!" Piccolo yelled
"Sorry Piccolo, but you needed to see this." Goku said as he pointed towards the Black Star Dragon Balls
"Heh, I haven't seen those in a long time. I can tell you are in a rush Goku. Go do what you need to do, I'll resolve this matter with Dende and Popo, since it was me who created these" Piccolo said
"Alright. Come on Vegeta and Trunks! Thanks again Dende!"
Goku instant transmissioned back to Capsule Corp to search for the newly activated Dragon Balls. The search for the Dragon Balls was pretty quick. As a result, Shenron was summoned in no time at all
"State your wishes, I shall grant you any 2!" Shenron stated
"Shenron, we know you have negative energy accumulated inside you! Please, release it so we can purify you!" Goku shouted
"That is a difficult wish to fufill, but I will try!"
Shenron struggled to expel the negative energy accumulated inside the Dragon Balls, however, the sky turned into a Northern Lights type of sky and out comes Black Smoke Shenron in place of normal Shenron!
"Hahaha! You fools really have done it now!" Black Smoke Shenron proclaimed.
"You got it wrong you reject! It will be your group that will meet its end!" Vegeta states.
"You sure have guts, no matter! You will feel our wrath! Hahahaha!" Black Smoke Shenron says as he disperses with the other Shadow Dragons in tow. The sky clears up just a bit, but now 7 Shadow Dragons are roaming Earth!
"Alright guys! Hang on to me, I'll use Instant Transmission to get to each of the Dragons!" Goku says
As quickly as they came back from Trunks' Future, they find themselves in a conflict with Shenron's inner demons: The Shadow Dragons! With knowledge of each of the Shadow Dragon's powers and personalities, will Goku, Vegeta, and Trunks be able to dispatch of the threats quicker than before, or will they fall in defeat?!
Chapter 2: Shadow Dragon Massacre Spree
Previously, Goku, Vegeta, and Trunks were able to get the Dragon Balls, summon Shenron, and expel all the negative energy out from the Dragon Balls, thus giving birth to the Shadow Dragons! Given that Goku and Vegeta have already fought the Shadow Dragons before, will they be able to eradicate this threat faster than previously?
In an instant, Goku, Vegeta, and Trunks arrive to the first Shadow Dragon: Yi Xing Long! Yi Xing Long appears from the shadows to encounter the trio. "Well well, this is unexpected. I didn't expect to see you this early!" Yi Xing Long said
"Yeah… Why are we here so early Kakarot?" Vegeta states
"Easy Vegeta: We can take care of him while he's in this form and afterwards, for training, Trunks can take on the other 6 Dragons. Since we know what happened last time, we want to make sure we want to avoid that and take care of this as fast as possible." Goku explains
"So this is a Shadow Dragon huh? Freaky looking." Trunks states "Trunks, pay attention! After he's done with, it will be your turn to finish the rest of the Dragons! Consider this as training!" Vegeta states
"You all seem cocky for Saiyans about to die by the might of the strongest Shadow Dragon!" Yi Xing Long said in confidence
"You got it wrong Dragon! We will beat you in no time flat!" Goku and Vegeta said in unison, as they turn Super Saiyan 4 and ambush Yi Xing Long! The deadly dual force of Super Saiyan 4 Goku and Vegeta is making Yi Xing Long struggle! Goku and Vegeta are not giving up on the assault, slamming Yi Xing Long through buildings, throwing him up in the sky, and slamming him to the ground, making the entire Earth shake!
"YOU'RE DONE DRAGON!" Vegeta screams
"THAT'S WHAT YOU THINK!" Yi Xing Long replies, as he calls forth the rest of the Shadow Dragons!
In an instant, Si Xing Long, San Xing Long, Qi Xing Long, Liu Xing Long, Wu Xing Long, and Liu Xing Long appear to help out Yi Xing Long!
"Great, just what we needed! Trunks, come and take out these 6 Dragons!" Vegeta shouted
"Right!" Trunks says as he goes Super Saiyan Rage
"No more holding back! HAAAGH!" Goku said as he goes Super Saiyan 4 God! Vegeta follows suit as he also goes Super Saiyan 4 God! Yi Xing Long and the rest of the Shadow Dragons can't move because of the immense pressure that Goku and Vegeta are radiating, which gives Trunks the edge, dispatching the 6 Shadow Dragons with ease! All that remains is Yi Xing Long…
"Well, that was quick, let's finish it Vegeta!" Goku states
"Right!"
"This… This cant be possible! You shouldn't be this strong…" Yi Xing Long states before being obliterated by a Galick Gun Kamehameha by Goku and Vegeta. As a result, all 7 Dragon Balls have been purified from the negative energy and Shenron is back to normal.
"That was… surprisingly quick." Trunks states
"You know what, you're right. I actually didn't expect all the Dragons to show up all at once like that." Goku states as he goes down to base
"Saved us from searching for them" Vegeta states as he also goes back to base "Right. Now, let's get the Dragon Balls back to Dende"
Using Instant Transmission, Goku, Vegeta, and Trunks go back to The Lookout and give the purified Dragon Balls to Dende.
"Thanks Goku! That was awfully quick though." Dende states
"Not a problem Dende. And yeah, the Shadow Dragons literally came to us in an instant." Goku explains
"I imagine. Also, Piccolo found a way to seal away those Black Star Dragon Balls from earlier. Good thing as well, because apparently, those Dragon Balls would of caused a major problem for Earth!"
"Really?"
"Yeah, according to Piccolo, before Kami split into for the first time, he made these Dragon Balls, which are supposed to be stronger than these Dragon Balls. However, if a wish is made with the Black Star Balls, they get scattered across the Universe, not just Earth!"
"Really? That sounds fun!" Goku states
"Kakarot you idiot!" Vegeta states
"Well, at least these Dragon Balls are up here. If you need them in the future, let me know and you can use them."
"Thank you Dende."
"No, Thank you Goku, I learned a lot through the past 30 minutes." "See ya!"
Goku, Vegeta, and Trunks leave The Lookout and go back to Capsule Corp. Now, Trunks has the chance to train with Vegeta even more and attain even more power! Will he take advantage of this pristine opportunity, or will he wish to go back to the

Hey guys! Sorry for the long break in between parts, work and school got the best of me recently, but I will try and be more consistent with these what if parts. However, I have a feeling you guys will have questions regarding to the power scale of the Shadow Dragons. I will explain it the best I can here.
So, the Shadow Dragons in the GT Timeline had more power because of how long their energy has accumulated and as a result, the Dragon Balls cracked and their power was enough to give Super Saiyan 4 Goku and Pan trouble in official DBGT. However, because Goku wished to release the energy now, these Shadow Dragons were significantly weaker than what they would have been if they were unleased 10 years in the future. As a result, Super Saiyan Rage was overkill for the 6 Shadow Dragons, thanks to the overwhelming power of Super Saiyan 4 God.
"How Strong is Super Saiyan 4 God and Super Saiyan 4 Blue?" This one will involve a little bit of theorizing, but stick with me. In Official GT, SSJ3 Goku was not able to contend with Super Baby 2 in both encounters. However, once Goku turned Golden Ape, he was able to frighten Baby and damage him more than what he was as a Super
Saiyan 3. Keep in mind that in the GT Perfect Files, Super Baby 2 resembles Super Saiyan 3, thus it can be assumed that Baby was in his own form of Super Saiyan 3. After regaining consciousness, Goku underwent Super Saiyan 4 and trashed on Baby. It could be assumed that Super Saiyan 4 is either a Limit Breaking Transformation (a non-defined multiplier (User Keeps Getting Stronger)) or Super Saiyan 4 could be 1000xs of times stronger than Super Saiyan 3. If we apply that to Super Saiyan God, which could also be a non-defined multiplier (Goku kept getting stronger against Beerus in Dragon Ball Super and absorbed the God power and put it into his normal form), Super Saiyan 4 God would be as strong as a fusion level amp. Or, it could be as strong as Ultra Instinct Omen, without the drawbacks that Omen has on a mortal's body.
"How are Goku and Vegeta able to go Super Saiyan 4 God so quickly?" It is safe to assume that because they were Gogeta earlier, they remember how they tapped into the form while fighting their counterparts. As a result, Goku and Vegeta were able to tap into both transformations at the same time, thus Super Saiyan 4 God is easily achievable for the Saiyans.
