No time left for you

On my way to better things

(No time left for you)

I'll find myself some wings

(No time left for you)

Distant roads are calling me

(No time left for you)

Mm-da, mm-da, mm-da, mm-da, mm-da

No time for a summer friend

No time for the love you send

Seasons change and so did I

You need not wonder why

You need not wonder why

There's no time left for you

No time left for you

No time left for you

On my way to better things

(No time left for you)

I'll find myself some wings (No time left for you)

Distant roads are calling me

(No time left for you)

Mm-da, mm-ga, mm-da, mm-ga, mm-da

Christmas was going to be great. Lincoln thought as he walked the hallway in his green suit.
he had a big surprise for the fam. he was talking to luan about how her show at the old folks' home was canceled due to a sickness going around. hell, it seemed fate was in his favor.

if things were different he would have created some fucked up plan to keep the family together. lynn's game was canned due to snow coming, Lola's pageant was canceled as well. it seemed that everything was going wrong. even the trip to Miami was canceled due to the snowstorm coming, and the flight delays.

so with a pip in his step he walked into luan and luna's room to greet her. it was no secret that he loved her. more than just a sister. but he kept his distance since she and sam were dating.

shit, lincoln, and his sisters were pretty tight together in a most sinful way. but they kept things hush-hushed. for lincoln and luna? yeah, they had a thing going for a while. but when luna told lincoln about sam about two years ago he basically respected her choice and didn't pursue her or go any further.

what his ears picked up was her sobbing.

"no presents tucked under the tree" he heard her gasp.

"Luna?"

he asked, concerned. his throat dropped to his stomach.

"oh, hey little bro."

she sat up, sniffling, wiping his nose with the sleeve of her sweater. holding her guitar close. her lips quivering as she looked at him with glassy eyes.

"are you crying?"

her frown deepened and began to babble.

"sam broke up with me because picked mick swagger instead of going skiing with her-"

"what?!"

Now Lincoln was no fool. he had heard of luna mentioning mick swagger calling her phone and wanting to have a jam session. which was, a rare occasion. and sure, luna could be impulsive. she lived for the moment. hell, she was rearing to go become famous in America's next hitmaker. even went for a chance to join a band to become something leaving sam and the band behind but...

okay...maybe luna wasn't perfect. she was a real sweetheart, at least with her family. and him. and he always supported her no matter what. and yeah, he did realize a while back that she was kinda shitty to sam. not that she did it on purpose. she was just spontaneous and wild and ready to move in fast. she was an opportunist.

but it looked like it came and bit her on the cunt.

"oh boy..."

he could ask if they talked it out. but let's face it. ditching your chick on a trip? yeah. that's one fire way to make a loving foundation crumble to dust. it seemed that her relationship was done. lincoln knew this wouldn't last. sam and luna barely had anything in common. and the only thing was rock n roll.

if it were a cartoon show, it is different. they'd stay together even if his sister was kinda toxic... still though, when it came to lincoln and luna, she always talked things out and he always understood the situation. and yeah, he supported her in whatever.

with sam? Nah. she wouldn't understand how luna's brain works. he knew if sam had a problem and argued with her, luna would break up with her because sam to her was being a cunt.

this situation was heavy. and lincoln did what he could what needed to be done.
he climb the latter and onto the bed and sat with her. the moment he came close
luna set aside her guitar and wrapped his arms around him and squeezed him.
she sobbed against his shoulder and all he could do was comfort her in her darkest hour.

after a while, she calmed down and looked at her blinking away tears. she breathed deeply and pressed her head against his. their eyes met and luna calmed down. that was the thing about lincoln. he got her. no one else understood her but him. she sniffled again and noticed the snot on his suit.

"Sorry." she whispered. "i got boogers on your coat."

"it's fine."

silence.

luna's fingers played with his. he watched her expression. sadness in her eyes.

"I really fucked things up didn't I bro?"

she swallowed. looking up, eyes batting away tears. gulping.

"she didn't have to break up with me."

she reasoned.

"All she had to do was talk to me. I can't help it if I got excited"

her head dropped down and shook side to side.

"i just don't know what went wrong."

lincoln could point it out. but he wasn't going to add fuel to the fire.

"Mazzy's right. if I didn't watch what I do, sam break things off."

she shuddered.

"am I selfish?"

oh boy, this wasn't something he was ready to answer. he gave a nervous smile. but luna picked up on it. and closed her eyes and clenched her teeth and let out a long whine.

"Ohhh shiiiiiit."

lincoln hugged her, but she pushed him away.

"fuck! fuck! FUCK!"

luna screeched, tugging her hair.

"I'm so fucking retarded! how could i not see it?!"

lincoln gulped.

"I don't deserve her!"
she fell back on the bed and stared at the ceiling. lincoln laid with her. and placed a hand over her stomach. she slowly turned her head and stared at her baby brother.

"We all make mistakes, luna."

she turned her body and scooted closer, nuzzling his nose with her own. he could smell the mint in her breath. which made him realize his breath might smell like shit cause of the sauerkraut and peanut butter sandwich he had earlier.

"it's mistakes like this that won't get her back."

she croaked.

"at least you have me..."

he hinted at.

"I mean if you wanted to go again."

he paused.

"Sorry, it's too soon, forget I said that."

he felt cold on his cheek and his blue eyes focused on her hazel browns.

"like the old days? before sam..."

"when it was just us."

he completed.

"I mean if you want...I mean...well...you know what I mean."

she chuckled and kissed his nose. then his right cheek. she paused and kissed his lips. and it lingered. and lincoln's eyes closed and embrace with the coolness of her lips, her scented perfume. the softness of her hand. and for a moment the world stood still. and if there was a watcher watching, he would watch with great interest.

their lips parted slowly. and luna's eyes open. a spark in them. and she felt a wave of familiarity. a nostalgic feeling. lincoln's cheeks burn and he smiled as she smiled. and luna sighed and laid back. she held his hand as she pondered the situation.

"if it were you, bro, you wouldn't have a problem with it right?"

she looked at him with knowing eyes.

"with me and mick jamming?"

lincoln had his signature boyish smile.

"of course not. I know how important it is to you."

she smiled widely. but then became soured.

"wish sam acted better than this."

lincoln knew that luna would put the blame on her. he should point out her own faults. but he knew that she knew. she just decided to go the other direction. luna snorted and grunted.

"stupid fat bitch."

she sat up.

"after all i did for her, after all the things we been through, tossing it away over something petty!"

she shook her head and hopped off the bed and landed with a heavy thud.

"fuck her bro! i don't need her!"

she turned and smirked.

"All aboard the lunacoln train"

she wiggled her fingers as she air guitar, throwing up the goats her tongue sticking out.

lincoln laughed and shook his head. he hadn't heard that stupid phrase in so long. the fact that his sister created that name when she was shit-faced drunk was one of the funniest memories. he climbed down and joined her. and shrugged.

"so what now?"

she grinned and held his hand.

"let's get some eggnog and watch a Christmas story."

he smiled. happy that she was feeling better.

"Sounds like a plan."

she smoothed his cheek and they both left the room.

tomorrow was Christmas. and for luna at least she had something to look forward to.

NOTE: ya know, i think the best part of that movie was the fact sam broke up with luna.
and i am not saying this because of my ship. but as i mention on my DA that luna and sam wouldn't last.

cause lets face the facts. in both the cartoon and the live-action movie luna is a pretty selfish bitch and seemed to focus on her rock n roll dream than caring about sam's feelings.

i actually feel sad for sam. as i've been in relationships where people like luna would ditch you with no thoughts at all. if you review the film, episodes like band together, in the mick of time, undercover mom, and really loud music and the loud house movie luna doesn't give sam a second thought.

clearly, sam wouldn't put up with this shit. luna would hurt her the way she's acting. the irony is saluna fans made it out like the ship is the greatest. but nah. it ain't. but it is what it is.

shit, lori and bobby's relationship is much more healthy.

anyway, kinda makes me like luna a little less. (shocker huh?)

anyway, i might continue this movie loudest universe in fanfiction form.

until next time, keep reading true loudcesters.

LOUDCESTIOR!
