Skye, Lydia, Beetlejuice and I are sitting on the couch me on his lap they are watching a movie while I'm looking out the window watching the snow fall.
Once the movie is over we all rest and relax for a while.
"That was the best day we ever had as a family enjoying ourselves" Lydia said.
Skye, Lydia and Beetlejuice are talking about anything while I relax and keep looking out the window.
They all smile at me and go back to talking. letting me watch the snow fall.
It's my first time seeing snow cause I never knew what it looked like. I always wanted to know what it felt like to play in the snow making a snowman, snow angels, ice skating, having a snowball fight, and drinking hot chocolate with my family.
"Yeah we all love snow but, this is Kira's first time watching and playing in the snow" Skye said.
Lydia and Beetlejuice look at her.
"What do you mean this is Kira's first time watching and playing in the snow?" Beetlejuice said.
"Well Lydia and I were in college we used to have fun watching and playing in the snow Kira went to her childhood best friend Ramon's house she had to stay in and play with him cause his parents Charles and Delia wouldn't let her go out in the snow or watch it fall they started to abuse and yell at her ramon kept pinching her hard giving her bruises and pushing her down the stairs everytime she tried to leave" Skye said.
"That is bad. A Snow Day is a holiday that everyone should be outside watching and playing in the snow not stuck in the house getting abused Lydia said.
Beetlejuice looks at them.
"I remember that day she was so miserable that she called me and I ended up taking her outside with Skye and you. We played in the snow she felt safer with me" Beetlejuice said.
"Yeah I knew she was happier with him when they would refuse to let her do anything. Still not sure why they abused her they were my parents I never thought they would do that to her" Lydia said.
I have tears in my eyes hoping they don't notice cause I remember the story really well it brings back sad painful memories in that horrible house with Charles, Ramon and Delia.
I look at them.
"Yeah everytime Beej was with me I was safer and happier with him instead of being in that house they always treated me like a punching bag" I said.
They all look at me.
Beetljuice smiles at me wiping my tears away now they all see the snow fall I can't wait to play in it.
It was the best night ever. After the snow ended we all head upstairs to our rooms to get ready for bed. We all fall asleep and have amazing dreams. We sleep through the night.
The next day I wake up, have my cloak and black combat boots on, walk out of my room, down the stairs, open the door closing it.
I start building a snowman, make snow angels, and then ice skating on the frozen pond Beetlejuice made for us. After Skye, Lydia and Beetlejuice put the coffee and hot chocolate on the table they head outside.
They see the snowman and snow angels I made they spot me on the pond ice skating hoping I'm careful that I don't get injured badly and freeze to death I'm only wearing my pajamas cloak and black combat boots.
"Kira please be careful on the ice we don't want to see you get hurt" Skye said.
I look at them.
"Don't worry I promise I will be careful" I said.
I keep skating then I fall on my face scraping it making it bleed and hit my head on the ice when I try to get up.
Beetlejuice floats over to me, picking me up, carrying me inside, wrapping 2 blankets around me to keep me warm sitting on his lap he bandages my head and puts gauze on my face they notice my lips are blue. I only drink a little.
"I wonder why she didn't drink more of her hot chocolate I think she is trying to keep warm with 2 blankets around her?" Skye said.
"Maybe she's trying to heal slowly she did take a nasty fall on the frozen pond" Lydia said.
I lay on Skye, Beetlejuice and Lydia so they can eat soup and drink coffee easily. Lydia finishes her soup and lays her cup on the table so she can run her fingers through my hair to calm me down while they watch a movie.
"Babes why would Chuck and Delia treat Kira like that they are your parents I never knew they would do that to her?" Beetlejuice said.
"I don't know but they changed a lot when I went to college. When I came home to visit with Skye I saw them abuse her she was scared and hid behind Skye and me. I asked them why they treated her like that they told me that she was causing trouble and she ruined my moms art and my dads office that's why they abused her" Lydia said.
I look at them.
"I'm fine just hurt and tired and I hate your parents for abusing me I remember Beej being Mr. Beetleman and he was fixing something but stood by you and he saw them abuse me" I said.
"Yeah it was horrible she was miserable so we got her out of that house and into this one" Beetlejuice said.
We all sleep on the couch on pillows and blankets while I lay on a pillow with 2 blankets on me to keep me warm. We sleep all night and day and wake up whenever we want.
