I never expected vampires to be real. Of course you wouldn't, they were just make-believe; fantastical creatures people used to create stories with. It was my fault really that I was there in the first place, but now that I think of it I don't regret a thing.
In my other life I was a travel guide. I helped people choose what they wanted to do on their vacations; where to go, the sights to see. Even went to some of these places myself first before I could help others make a final decision. It was my job, after all, to know where all the best vacationing spots were - so why not visit everywhere? It was my dream job, and I loved every minute of it.
While in Paris I bumped into a man who seemed very normal at first. I never would have thought that one time meeting would have led to the adventure of a life-time. Going back in time, I met all the great from the past, making some amazing friends and a new family. Even finding love in an unexpected place.
My original goal was to go back to my time once the hour-glass was up, but now, because of these vampires I never wanted to go back home. I was home. I loved it here.
