Idea #1: Olivia loses her cool while interrogating a suspect, causing someone to show up at her door.

"Where were you on Friday night at 10pm" Amanda said, sitting in front of the suspect.

They have been to solve this case for weeks now. A 5-year-old boy was kidnapped, tied up, tortured for 3 days and then shot twice in the head. This case is hard for Olivia since she has a 5-year-old son. She can't imagine her sweet boy being tortured like that. How can someone have so much anger and rage towards kids? Olivia wants to find this son of bicth and makes sure that they never see the light of day. Olivia was standing outside the interrogation room next to Barba and Fin, looking through the window.

"I was walking to a bar," the suspect said.

"That's kinda early to be walking into a bar."

"It's been a rough week. So, are you going to keep asking me stupid questions or am I free to go detective?"

"I'm just trying to get to know you and why you like to torture 8-year-old boys."

"Oh, just so you know I do not like to torture boys and I know all about you and your friends, detective."

Olivia's patience was wearing thin, the longer she watched, the angrier she was getting.

"I know your Captain has a child. Let me guess, she has a son 5 years old," Olivia arched her eyebrow, "curly brown hair, blue eyes," Her breathing got shallow, Fin and Barba are looking at her, they can see the fire in eyes, "he's a cutie, real polite, has great manners," Olivia clenched her fists, her blood boiling, adrenaline running through her veins, "He let me hold his hand, walk him to school."

"Son of a bicth"

Olivia marched into the interrogation room, "I have had enough of your bullshit."

"Liv," Amanda said as she stood up.

"Oh, look you decided to show up." The suspect said, sarcastically.

"Where is the boy," Olivia said, her knuckles white against the metal table.

"This boy?" The suspect picks up the picture of the boy, "you don't have to worry about him, he's fine, he's safe with his parents."

"But what you do have to worry about?" Olivia stared at them with pure rage.

"Is that sweet boy of yours," Olivia eyes got wider, "right now he is tied up, scared for his life, hoping that his mom will save him. Saying 'mommy, mommy come save me."

Olivia snapped. She went across the table and grabbed them by the neck, knocking them to the floor.

"Get her out of there, GET HER OUT OF THERE." Barba yelled to Fin.

"You motherfucker, if you hurt my son, I swear to god, I will make your life a living hell" Olivia said in a dangerously low tone. Her grip got tighter, "and you'll be the one calling for your mommy."

The suspect started to cough and choke.

"Liv, get off," Fin said while wrapping his arms around her waist, trying to pull her off, but she wouldn't let go, her grip got tighter and tighter, causing the suspect to gasp for air.

"Liv, let go." Fin said louder. Amanda had to pry Olivia hands from them suspects neck. Fin takes Olivia out of the interrogation room.

"Get off me." Olivia said, removing herself from Fin's grip.

"What the hell were you thinking going off on him like that?" Barba said.

"Let me back in there."

"You think I'm going to let you go in there, after almost choking our suspect to death, you must out of your fucking mind. You're going to blow up this whole case."

"I'm not going to just stand here and let them threaten my son, let me in." Olivia yelled.

Barba raised his voice, "ACTING LIKE YOUR PARENTS ISN'T GOING TO HELP THIS CASE, OLIVIA."

Olivia reached her limit, "WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU SAY TO ME?!"

Fin had to grab Olivia as she was saying very hurtful things to Barba before she would attack him. She was fighting to get out of Fin's grip, but he wouldn't let go.

"Alright Olivia that is enough." Olivia stopped fighting.

Fin let go of her and watched her as she went into her office and slammed the door. She paced back and forth, anger still running through her veins, a moment later she slammed her fist into the wall, creating a big hole that she going to have to pay for later. Then she remembered.

"Noah"

She needs to find Noah. She grabs her coat and purse and runs out of her office; hearing Fin call her name, but she ignored him. She ran out of the precinct and got into her car, closed the door and sped off to her apartment. Once she got there, she ran up the stairs, refusing to take the elevator, she got to her door. She quickly unlocked the door, but she opened it slowly. She scanned her apartment, not noticing the little boy running up to her and wrapping his arms around her legs.

"Mommy your home." Noah said with joy.

Olivia looked down at her son's smile, all the anger and rage went away, replaced by relief and happiness also a little bit of sadness.

"He's okay."

"He's safe."

She picked him up and hugged him tightly, not wanting to let go. She kissed him on his cheek. She held him for a couple of minutes and closed her eyes so that her tears wouldn't fall. Lucy smiled as she watched them.

"Mommy you can put me down now." Olivia put Noah on the ground, already missing the warmth from holding him. Noah went back to playing with his Legos.

"Olivia, I have to go back to class." Lucy said as she gathered her things.

"Oh, okay it's fine, I'm taking the rest of the day off anyway." Olivia paid Lucy and she went out of the door. Olivia let out a breath, feeling horrible.

"Mommy, are you okay?" The little boy asked.

"I'm fine my love, mommy's just tired." Olivia said as she ruffled his hair.

The day went into the night, spending it with her son, she's glad that her son is alive and not hurt, but it scares her that someone will end up hurting Noah, she can't let that happen. She put Noah to bed only to come back to his room an hour later to calm him down after he had a nightmare.

"It's okay sweetheart, calm down." She said, holding him, trying to calm down his cries. It didn't take long for him to fall back asleep, as she laid him down his bed, a knock was at the door. She put the blanket over him, kissed him goodnight and went to see who was at the door. She opened it but she wasn't surprised to see who it was.

"Do you want to tell me what's going on?" Elliot said.

"Let me guess, Fin called you." Olivia said as she let him in. They both sat on the couch.

"What happened?" He asked.

"I just got a little angry."

"Well, it seems like you're get a little angry a lot."

"I mean I had every right to be, you think I'm just going to stand there and let them just threaten my son like that?" Olivia got irritated but she quickly calmed down.

"Sorry."

"I heard you almost ripped Barba's head off."

"There was one thing that he said that he is completely right about. Is that I'm acting like my parents."

"Olivia come on you know that's not true."

"Oh really? I'm snapping on everyone, including my son. I've never yelled at him before. He accidently knocked over his juice and it spilled all over my laptop. Usually, I wouldn't be mad but for some reason I was angry at him.

"Oh my god, Noah what did you do?" Olivia yelled.

"It was an accident." Noah pouted.

"Great, now all my work is gone."

"You need to watch what you're doing, Noah." She pointed her finger at him.

"I'm sorry, mommy." Noah said, on the verge of crying.

She saw the tears in her son's eyes and immediately apologized, "oh Noah don't cry I'm sorry that I yelled at you."

She held her son, "I didn't mean it, it's not your fault."

"I've found myself drinking three or more glasses of wine every night." Olivia closed her eyes to prevent her tears from falling.

"I'm afraid that I'm going to end up just like my mother, have anger issues and drink my problems away." Her voice cracked, full of emotion.

"You are nothing like your mother."

"Maybe I should...actually, I don't know what I should do."

Elliot wrapped his arm around her, "maybe take two weeks off, get your mind right, spend time with your son." Olivia nodded. They both sat there in silence before Elliot spoke again.

"By the way, you got your guy."

Olivia looked at him confused, "how?"

"Your outburst actually scared the crap out of him and told us where the boy was located." Olivia puts her head in her hands.

"You okay?"

Olivia sighed, "Yea, I'm just glad that my son is okay."

At the right moment, Noah pattered into the doorway.

"Mommy" Noah said sadly. Olivia looked over her shoulder and saw the little boy holding Eddie and his favorite blanket close to his chest, with a pout on his face. She got up and walked over to him.

"Can I sweep in your bed?" Noah asked.

"Honey, we talked about you sleeping in your own bed."

"Please momma please." He begged.

Olivia gave in, "one more night, okay."

Olivia looked over to Elliot, who was already standing up to leave.

"I have to go; my CO wants me in early tomorrow."

"Okay. Goodnight El."

"Bye Uncle Elliot."

He smiled and waved goodnight before he headed out the door. Olivia picked up her little boy, carried him to the bedroom and they both laid down on the bed, Noah snuggled close to her and fell asleep. Not long after, Olivia fell asleep knowing that her sweet boy was safe in her arms.
