Cammie POV
It was a nice summer morning in Roseville Virginia for the towns people but for Cameron Morgan that was a different story.
Cammie scanned the area being careful not to be seen, she never wanted to be seen, and by the way that she's going I personally don't think she ever will.
She passed in front of stores and quickly slipped the people's money into her pocket, well that was until she saw someone slightly familiar in the small Roseville crowds.
She gasped stepping forward.
She stopped herself before walking towards a random person pulling out their wallet from their bag, slipping it into her pocket and quickly walking from the crime scene.
That was until she heard a shout.
"Hey come back!" the guy yelled drawing attention from a group of muscly boys and a broad shouldered girl.
"Dang it," she muttered trying and failing to not look suspicious, she walked into a cafe hoping it would make her look less suspicious, pulling out the wallet and walking up to the counter where a small petite girl was taking orders.
"Um hi, can I please have a large cup of hot chocolate?" Cammie asked slapping the five dollars on the counter.
"Of course," the petite girl replied taking the five dollars and started making Cammie's order. Cammie walked over to an absent table and sat observing the people around her looking for him. The boy and his friends entered the cafe only a couple of minutes after she had ordered.
"Hey Liz, have you by any chance seen a girl? Blonde hair, blue eyes, fair skin, walking by." The guy and his friends came in speaking to the girl at the counter. She glanced over to me letting her eyes dwindle only for a second.
"Sorry Zach, not a chance." she replied acting oblivious to me sitting in the corner in the shadows.
"But Zach, you do relise that there are loads of girls with blonde hair, blue eyes and fair skin right? Why are you looking for this girl again?" Liz replied listing off Cammie's features.
"Well, I was walking along and she almost got away with my wallet without being detected, but she's like a freaking chameleon." Zach said. "If I found her I'd get Grant to take her Gallagher since Soloman needs to talk with me."
Cammie stopped herself from gasping and stood quickly taking her hot chocolate from Liz muttering a small "Thanks Liz." making her way to the door at a painfully slow pace.
"Hey you!" Zach yelled earning Cammie's attention. Cammie turned around to be faced by Zach and his group of teenagers and stopped in her tracks hoping that he wasn't just talk and no do.
Zach had his phone out in a flash speed-dialing who she hoped was Grant. He murmured some words about their location and took a few steps toward Cammie. Cammie smirked and thought about the training that her uncle Solomon taught her.
When Zach got close enough to her, she threw her leg out round housing him, making him topple onto the ground while she spun around with the graceful actions of a ballerina.
All time stopped as she grabbed the fist that almost nicked her jaw and flipped a different boy into some seats. The girl kicked Cammie in the stomach and tried to punch her in the jaw but someone opened the door to the cafe, alerting everyone to the new arrival while innocent by-standers watched wondering if this was some sort of gang fight.
"Camster?" a male voice asked stopping the fight, everyone faced Grantary Morgan as he stared in disbelief at his twin.
The group glanced between the two, confusion sneaking their way into their eyes.
Grant took a careful step forward as in some sort of trance and reached his hand towards Cammie. Cammie took a step forwards with confidence pulsing through her veins, she was close enough to feel his breath against her cheek but all she could focus on was the fact that he, along with her mother, left her.
She reached her hand out and quickly slapped him in the face while he gasped and stood shocked. Cammie ran, with all her might forgetting the now cold hot-chocolate. She heard footsteps behind her, more than one person was following her.
She did what she had wanted to do for more than half of her life but why did she feel so empty.
Cammie couldn't wrap her head around things so as always she ran from it leaving it in the dust behind her
"CAMMIE!" she heard someone scream, before a sickening crack was heard, a scream resounded in the air while Cammie's vision blacked out with pain.
