Chapter One: Kayako Saeki's resurgence.
(Konoha Months later before the Kyuubi attack)
"So how's life treating you Kushina-San?" Asked a Woman with black raven hair.
"Oh it's great Kayako-Chan. So how's your marriage with Takeo?" Kushina asked her friend.
Kayako Saeki is a civilian in Konoha, she and Kushina had been childhood friends when Kushina first came to Konoha after what went down in Uzu her home. The two bonded as friends along with Hitomi Hyuuga, Tsume Inuzuka and Mikoto Uchiha. She's now married to Takeo Saeki who is her husband, she also has a Son named Toshio Saeki.
Kayako remained silent at the mention of her husband but answered.
"We are doing fine Kushina-San. I take it that you are with child are you not?" Kayako asked with Kushina smiling putting her hand on her pregnant stomach.
"Yes. I am. In 4 more months I'll be having a boy." Kushina said with a happy smile with Kayako smiling lightly too.
"Kayako-Chan I know I haven't consulted this with Minato but I was thinking of making you godmother to my child." Kushina said surprising the woman
"Me? Godmother? You trust me with the well-being of your child?" Kayako asked with Kushina nodding.
"I trust you more with my child than any of my other friends Kayako-Chan. Should something ever happen to me or Minato you are his godparent." Kushina said with Kayako now looking taken back by all of this as she thinks of considering the idea of being godparent to Kushina's son.
"I will do it for you Kushina-San." Kayako said with a smile as her and Kushina hugged each other.
"Thank you Kayako-Chan promise me to always protect him and love him like he is your own son." Kushina said as both her and Kayako went their separate ways.
( Saeki house 2 weeks later)
Kayako would return at night from her job as a Shinobi teacher at the academy, knowing her son is probably playing with their black cat. She would walk up stairs to her room.
Once she got their she did not expect her husband Takeo Saeki to be their holding what looked like to be her diary.
Widening her eyes in lengths that her husband discovered her secretcrush.
The diary contained pictures of Minato Namikaze.
Takeo glared at his wife with rage running through him.
It was no secret that during her time with Kushina throughout their friendship that Kayako had a crush on Minato, She always spied on him, stalked him even when him and Kushina would go on dates. She knew then that Minato had loved Kushina, and that she had to accept that. Besides she didn't want to destroy her one friendship with someone who doesn't consider her a freak or outcast, Kushina was her only friend and she didn't want to steal Kushina's soon to be partner.
She looked taken back as she slowly backed away in fear of what her husband would do to her.
He stood there glaring with anger and jealousy building into him as he charged at Kayako who screamed.
He grabbed her and shook her as he gripped her neck and with a loud snap of the neck fell the lifeless body of Kayako Saeki.
His Son who witnessed it was soon grabbed and drowned in a bathtub along with their pet cat.
It was then Takeo Saeki had also killed Himself after that.
Two days went by and Kushina visited her house unprepared for what she would see.
The moment Kushina saw the corpse of her dead friend she mourned for the loss of Kayako who was going to be her son's future godson.
She found Kayako's diary and saw her friend's secret feelings for Minato as she read on and on but stopped when she read how Kayako accepted the fact that Minato truly belonged to Kushina.
Kushina respectively had buried her best friend and Toshio along with the cat behind the Saeki backyard.
As for Takeo he didn't deserved to be buried knowing he killed her best friend out of jealousy. She put him in a body bag and dumped him in the sewers.
Though Kushina still mourned and cried for Kayako who she saw as a sister.
After that. Kushina Would leave the Saeki house not looking back at it.
Had she stayed a little longer, she would have saw a pale figure looking at her retreating form as the said figure vanished into the Saeki household.
( 7 years later after the Kyuubi attack).
Yes Konoha being rebuilt after it's destruction at the hands of the Kyuubi attack.
A blonde young boy would run as fast as he could running from his attackers. And these said attackers were Konoha shinobi drunk ones at that. One Jonin and two chunins.
As they continued to toss and throw kunai and shirikens at the boy who dodged and weaves as he spots the first house he could try to hide in.
"He went inside that house let's get him!" Shouted a chunin but the jonin stopped him saying.
"Wait are you sure you want to go in that house?" Asked the Jonin as the three stared at the house that once belonged to the Saeki family.
Rumor has it that after the Saeki family incident that the house itself was haunted and cursed.
"So what! It's just a house what's the big deal! Let's kill the Kyuubi brat!" Shouted the drunk Chunin who went inside as the rest followed after him.
Naruto would try to hide somewhere in the house he thought of hiding in the closet, the three Shinobi barged in the house like they owned the place in which they didn't.
"Come here Kyuubi brat! So I can skin you alive!" Shouted the Chunin as his drinking friends searched for the boy.
Naruto flinched and was scared. He hoped and prayed they wouldn't find him.
As they searched everywhere.
Naruto remained quiet and tried not to breathe.
But unfortunately they found him and grabbed him tossing him on the floor.
"Well well well, look what we have here fellas, a fox trying to hide." Said a Jonin with malice in his voice gripping a kunai as they surrounded him.
Naruto had a terror stricken face as he pleaded.
"Please don't hurt me! Please I'm a good boy!" Naruto pleaded.
"Silence Demon! We can finally kill you and avenge the Yondaime!" Shouted a Chunin with a tanto as they prepared to hurt the boy.
Naruto closed his eyes in fear.
Before they could hurt him.
The house had a ominous aura as you could hear a death rattle that echoed throughout the house. The Shinobi who paused felt chills run down their spines as the death rattling like sound continued, then they heard bones snap, their eyes turned to the stairs and widened their eyes at seeing a mangled corpse with blood and black ominous eyes that could stare into your soul.
Kayako finally had made down the steps crawling and suddenly more bones snapped as she suddenly stood up looking at the Shinobi who are shitting themselves seeing Kayako look at them with the most chilling horrid look she gave them.
She croaked and rattled as she sent her hair to quickly strangle them and snap their necks.
After she done the deed her eyes fell on Naruto as she walked slowly to him, croaking.
Naruto opened his eyes to see what happened but he too went pale at the sight of Kayako looking down at him.
She stared at him with lifeless eyes as she looked ready to try and attack him only to pause.
She got a good look at his features, that blonde hair, she knew anywhere from her past life when she was alive, that face and eyes. Those eyes reminded her of someone she once considered as a friend.
It was as if she could see Kushina in the boy who is looking at her with fear.
Then it dawned on her. Is this Kushina's boy?
He looks so much like Minato but the eyes reminded her so much like Kushina.
Before she could grab him he instantly fainted.
She picked up the boy and took him upstairs to her Son's room for him to rest.
She walked passed her son and their pet cat who was watching with silence.
She stood there at the bed looking at the boy who resembles so much as her best friend and Crush.
