A/N- I saw this prompt on Instagram and wanted to write something on it. I never seen them singers much, but why not? The prompt was something like "Everytime 'A' sings in the shower their neighbor joins them. They've never met, but 'A' wants too."

The first time he sang with me was a complete coincidence. I had recently moved in and was slowly realizing the walls were pretty thin (courtesy of my neighbors) and I was still getting used to keeping a level volume.
I had started my shower singing softly, but as time went on I got louder and louder. I paused, trying to think of a new song to sing when a deep male voice began to sing. His voice was rich sounding, as smooth as chocolate.

I recovered from my initial shock just in time to join him for my part. We spent the whole shower singing song after song, and after that… after that we sang every time one of us took a shower.

The songs we sang in the shower last night have been stuck in my head all day. Every chance I had at work I hummed them. At one point I had started singing in the break room without realizing it until a coworker stopped me.

I secured my grip on my handbag as I reached the elevator to my apartment, looking around before pressing the button and starting a song. As the door opened I glanced at my phone and walked in, my lyrics getting louder as I got to the climax of the song, when a smooth voice joined mine.

I spun, my words dead on my lips, to meet the stare of violet eyes. I blinked, taking a step back as he finished his line before grinning at me. A gaped at him, noting his blue/black hair and his handsome complexture, "It's you!" I blurted.

He raised an eyebrow and laughed, "It's me?"

My cheeks grew warm as I looked into his star flecked eyes, "You're the one who sings with me when I'm in the shower."

He nodded slightly and scratched the back of his neck, "I looked for your apartment… but I couldn't find it."

It was my turn to laugh. "What's so funny!?

"I tried to find your apartment too!"

He broke into a half grin as the elevator stopped. We exited, "I'm Feyre," I said, extending my hand.

He looked over me before extending his own, "Rhysand. Rhys is more preferable."

I hummed a note as we walked down the hallway, "So what apartment number are you?"

He glanced down at me, "C125. You?"

"C107."

I looked up at him; he met my stare, "So, do you have shower plans tonight?" I chuckled.

He smirked, "Hmmm. I might have date plans…"

I tried to hide my face as it fell, "Oh, well that sounds fun," I gave a halfhearted smile.

"Yeah, but I'm not sure if she'll say yes."

We stopped in front of my door, "Would you say yes?" he quirked an eyebrow.

I blushed before meeting his eyes, "I think I would."

He smiled, "Great! I'll pick you up at eight."

I nodded and laughed a little as I opened my door and slipped through.

I entered the apartment, still smiling to myself, and peeled off the sparkling blue dress I had on. I entered the bathroom and started to take the various pins out of my hair before I turned on the shower.

I sighed as hot water hit me, savoring it. I would say tonight's date was a success, and I hoped he thought the same. I put some shampoo in my hair and shut my eyes. I heard his shower turn on through the wall. I bit my lip, wondering if he would start singing, but he was silent. I tried to think of a song but I came up blank, so I just showered and turned the water off.

When I grabbed my towel I said, "So how was your date? You said we couldn't sing because of it," I smirked.

"It was good, but I don't know if she enjoyed it."

I smiled and looked down, "She definitely enjoyed it, but I think she was wondering if you enjoyed it."

"I did. In fact, I was hoping we could have another next week… maybe Friday afternoon?"

I bit my lip and nodded, "Mmmhmm."

I heard him sigh in relief as I left the bathroom; I smiled to myself, thinking about the future and his place in it.
