"Will you hurry it up! The cops could show up at any minute or worse HE might show up!"

"This isn't as easy as it looks alright and you breathing down my neck doesn't help none…"

Kuoh town one of the nicest cities to live in, once you can get past the robberies, the muggings, the shootings etc. on this particular night however we have two individuals who decided to go for a joy ride in a car that…didn't belong to them.

"There! I got it…"

"Well let's get outta here, we've wasted enough time as it…"

Quickly hot wiring the car the two crooks were nearly home free all they had to do was step on the gas and their new "borrowed "sports car would be theirs for the taking. There was just one problem, the car wouldn't move forward. It had a full tank, it was in the right gear, the parking brake was off so what gives?

"Uuhh…"

"What?"

"The car won't go…

"Whaddya mean it won't go?"

"The freaking car will not move forward; I've checked everything and it just won't go…"

"Well then just give it some more gas, come on we have a deadline to meet!"

Not wanting to waste anymore time the crook decided to floor it, they tossed subtly aside hoping to just get the hell out of there. They were shocked to say the least when the vehicle still wouldn't go.

The engine roaring, the tires screeching but it still wouldn't move it's as if something was holding it in place.

Suddenly, something landed on the hood of the car the two crooks looked to see what it was. It was red and blue with big white eyes and…oh no….

"I have to say you two are probably the worst car jackers I've ever seen"

"It's the bug!" one of the crooks shouted.

"Like honestly I could've watched the entire godfather trilogy in the time it took you two to get in there!"

Having heard enough the two crooks unholstered their guns and took aim at the wall crawler. Quickly dodging the gunfire by jumping on to a nearby wall, spiderman then quickly took care of the thugs' guns by webbing them up causing them to jam.

"With bathroom breaks!"

"Ah screw this I'm outta here!"

The thugs decided that the car was no longer worth it and began hauling ass.

"Aw leaving so soon? Come on I just got here!"

Spidey took aim with his signature thwip hands and webbed up the two suspects legs causing them to both fall flat on their faces.

A few minutes later spidey had wrapped up the goons in a cocoon of his own webbing leaving them dangling from a lamp post.

"I gotta say that's a good look for you two, all that's missing is a pretty little bow. Well I gotta go so I'll see you two stooges later, stay out of trouble now ya hear?"

And just like that spidey quickly zipped away leaving the police to deal with the perps.

"LeAvE iT tO mE I CaN GeT iN tO aNy CaR nO PrOBlEm SpIdEr MaN wIlL nEvEr CaTcH uS…"

"Shut up…"

Swinging through Kuoh town late at night like this was one of Peter's enjoyable past times, all the lights from the buildings and streets gave the sense that people in this town were always busy and that there was always something going down. It had only been 2 years since he became Spiderman and he already had a pretty decent track record. Stopping the likes of Electro and Mysterio, even a few mob bosses here and there. It's a no brainer that Peter had a hand in making the streets of Kuoh safer, people were even starting to take there dogs out for walks at night.

Unfortunately, not everyone saw Pete as a blessing in disguise (quite literally), Jameson had a knack for ripping spiderman a new one every time he did…anything really, but that's not to say that Spiderman didn't have his adoring fans. Just the other day he was swarmed with kids after he landed in a park to get one of their balloons out of a tree.

There was also that time-

Peter was taken out of his thoughts when his phone started ringing.

"Huh? Oh, its Issei…Whats up man?"

"Not much, was just gonna ask if you did the chemistry homework, also did you study for that test we have tomorrow?"

"Not yet, but its easy stuff ill just cram when I get home"

Issei raised an eyebrow when he heard that

"You're gonna pull an all-nighter?"

"What? No, I'm…. wait what time is it…"

"Its 12 am dude…"

Peter eyes went wide, he couldn't believe what he was hearing. There's no way it was actually 12 am issei was just pulling his leg-

"OH CRAP"

Looking at the time and seeing that he had missed 9 of May's calls this was NOT a joke.

Aunt May was gonna let him have it this time…

"Issei you still there?!"

"Never left man…"

"Good we're going to have to pull out operation Cover Spiderman's Ass!'

"Alright figured we'd have to after the "oh crap!" I just heard"

"Thanks! I owe you one!"

And with that they both hung up, covering for Peter was something that had become regular for Issei. Whether it was explaining to his Aunt May why he would come home with bruises, or why he would come home so late, Issei could usually come up with a decent excuse for his pal. After all it was the least he could do for his longtime friend, still Issei wanted to help Pete even more. He couldn't do all the things Pete could do, he didn't have super strength or super speed, and he wasn't particularly smart.

What bugged him even more was the thought of Pete not coming home one day, the thought of his best friend lying dead in a ditch somewhere shook him to his core, but it would never come to that…right?

Although there were a few close shaves, there were times Pete would call issei for help either because his web shooters were damaged in a fight, if his suit was lost and torn up, or if he was...dying…

It was during those moments where Issei felt like he really mattered, like he really was helping, after all how often does someone get to save the spiderman?

Issei's home phone began ringing and he had to intercept it before his mom did. It was definitely Aunt May calling.

He let it ring for a few seconds before answering

"Hello?"

"Hello Issei, it's me May I didn't wake you, did I?"

"Oh, HI May and no not at all. How can I help you?"

"You see dear its Peter; he's not answering his phone and its rather late so I was wondering if he was with you"

"Oh Yeah he left a little bit ago actually, he should be home soon"

"Oh, what a relief, oh I think that's him now, thank you dear"

"Anytime May"

Meanwhile…

"Who was that?" Peter asked his aunt

"It was Issei, Peter if you're going to be coming home late you should tell me, I was worried half to death."

"Um... y-yeah sorry May…"

"Well I went through the liberty of making dinner but it's cold now, so you'll have to heat it up."

"Uh right sorry May…"

"Well now that your home I'm headed off to bed, a girl like me needs her beauty sleep you know"

"Ha-ha all right then Aunt may ill see you in the morning."

"Goodnight Peter"

"G'Night"

Finally shutting the door to her room Pete wandered over to see what it was he would've had for dinner if he showed up a little earlier.

"Meatloaf… great…welp its better than starving."

Grabbing a plate and heading into the basement he pulled out his phone to call Issei

"hey man you still awake? "Peter asked issei.

"No", Issei replied in a sarcastic tone

"Well listen thanks for covering for me again dude I really appreciate it, ill send you the chemistry homework, you should have some time to fill in the blanks before class starts."

"Thanks, what are you gonna do now?"

"I've gotta cram for the test tomorrow"

"Oh right, you want me to stay up with you?"

"Nah ill be alright"

"You're gonna be a wreck at school tomorrow"

"Naah I'll be fine, I'll only be up for a few more hours"

The next day at school Peter's snoring was the only thing that could be heard in class. With everyone waiting with anticipation as to what the teacher would do to wake him up.

"MR. PARKER!"

"AH! WHA!…uh... huh?"

As Peter was pulled out of his slumber the entire class erupted with laughter.

"You have some serious stones to sleep in my class young man, I don't suppose you would mind coming in for detention would you Mr. Parker"

"I um…no sir…"

"Good, class dismissed"

And with that the bell rung cuing the students to leave for everyone's favorite period, lunch.

"I told you you were gonna be a wreck at school. Did you even pass the test?"

"Yea I passed, the worst part was that I didn't even need to cram for it, it was all pretty easy stuff."

"Pretty easy?! For you maybe but I'm pretty sure everyone in that class was struggling."

"What about you? Did you pass?"

"Who knows, I have more important things to worry about anyway."

"Oh really? Like what?"

"Kendo club was one period ago"

"um okay?"

"Which means that they need time to change back into their school uniforms right?"

"…"

"…"

"Issei don't…"

"I HAVE TO. Opportunities like this are a dime a dozen. Think about it Pete we are in high school, a time when young men and women's hormones are EXPLODING! If we don't go have a look at all those voluptuous figures and admire them like a true man should! CAN WE REALLY CALL OURSELVES MEN!"

"…You know when you start talking like that, the fact that I'm your friend really bums me out…"

"Come on we still have time to go gaze upon those heavenly bodies, now Pete are you with me?"

Issei extended his hand out to Peter the same way you would extend your hand to go on an adventure across the galaxy with your favorite person.

"I'm gonna go eat Lunch on the roof…"

"Wha- HEY! Come on man don't flake out on us like that!"

"Us?"

"Motohama and Matsuda are already there waiting for us!"

"Ok now I'm definitely not going, those two are worse than you!"

"Oh, are we?"

Motohama and Matsuda appeared, startling Issei in the process

"Where'd you guys come from?!"Issei stammered

"We came to see what the hold up was since you guys were taking so long"

"Also, we have some unfortunate news, as it turns out...Kendo practice was...cancelled..."Motohama stated with uneasy breaths, it sounded like he was about to cry

"C-Cancelled? So, does that mean…" Issei didn't want to believe it, it couldn't be true.

"That's right, they won't be changing today…"

The Perverted trio huddled together and began sobbing, they missed their chance and the only comfort they could find was in the arms of a friend. However, despite this tragedy it wasn't over, the quest for seeing the kendo club naked was within reach, they just had to wait a little longer.

"You guys are really passionate about this aren't you?", Peter interjected.

As this was going on, one of the prettiest girls in the entire school just so happened to walk by the four boys. It was none other than Rias Gremory herself. Her long crimson hair flowing elegantly with every step she took. Her light blue eyes piercing the very soul of those she gazed at. She was like a goddess among the living. As she walked by, she spared issei a look, when Issei's eyes met with hers he became entranced. It's as if he could look at those eyes forever, and that hair it was so red, so…

"Hey Issei you alright?...", Peter was able to get Issei back to his senses

"Huh? Oh, uh yea I'm fine, but, man so that's Rias Gremory huh…she really was cute, and that hair…"

"Yea she's really pretty isn't she…" Peter said looking back at Rias who was long gone by now.

"Oh, what's this? So even the book worm has time for girls huh?" Matsuda teased.

"Uh well sure heh heh." Peter replied sheepishly, he wasn't gonna lie, Rias was a beautiful girl.

"Hmm interesting…", Matsuda said as he placed his chin in his hand

"What is?" Peter wondered

"Well, Motohama and I thought that all hope was lost for you buddy…"

"Uh what do you mean?"

"Well seeing as you and Issei spend so much time together we thought…well…"

"Thought what? What are you guys…", Issei knew all too well where this was going only, he was too late to stop it.

"Don't say it" Issei said facepalming

"Look there's nothing wrong with it if you guys are into that sort of thing…"

"Are you guys really saying what I think you're saying…", Peter said, finally catching on.

"All right all right if you guys aren't ready to come out then that's fine…" Motohama said placing a hand on Issei and Peters shoulders.

"But just so you know well support you guys all the way.", Matsuda said giving the two friends a thumbs up.

"Very funny now come on Lunch is almost over" Issei said trying to change the topic of discussion.

"I swear you guys are the worst…" Peter said not wanting to hear any more of this fuckery.

"So…Peter…does Aunt May know about you two yet?" Matsuda teased one last time.

"You guys are hilarious you know that?..." Peter said with a dry tone.

Sometime later….

It was the end of the school day and the students were on their way home. Peter told Issei to go on without him as he had to stay for detention. Finally, after being forced to stay an extra 3 hours, Peter was let free. Making his way home, Peter thought about all that happened today. Something that stuck out to him though was when Rias passed by earlier today. Peter wasn't sure if her beauty was really that captivating or what, but he swore that Rias set off his spider sense.

"Nah that can't be I guess she really was that pretty ha-ha..."

This time however there was no doubt about it his spider sense went off like crazy. After it did, he heard what sounded like two girls screaming. Peter sprung into action; he had made a habit of wearing his Spidey suit under his regular clothes, as uncomfortable as it was, it was convenient.

Quickly dialing Aunt May to tell her that he would be studying in the library for a while so that she wouldn't worry, he made sure his web shooters were filled and headed towards the commotion.

Finally arriving to where he heard the screams it was the Kendo duo Murayama and Katase and something…big and angry. Now Peter wasn't a fan of these two girls as they regularly picked on him and issei calling him things like puny parker and four eyes (even though he didn't wear glasses anymore) and a few other choice words he would rather forget. However he still had a duty as spiderman to save anyone who was in need of help.

As the beast drew closer to the girls, they believed that these were their final moments. Being devoured by some unknown hell beast was probably one of the worst ways to go, but what could they do?

Suddenly the beast pounced on the girls who released an ear piercing shriek not wanting to accept their fate as they would be grinded up by this things serrated teeth and swallowed never knowing why they had to be killed in such a way…but nothing came… the girls looked up to see why they remained unharmed. The beast was being held back by some white rope like substance, but it looked too organic to be rope, what was it?

"Sorry but these two aren't on the menu!"

The beast looked to see who dared interrupt its meal, it was a human clad in red and blue tights…at least that's what it thought it was.

Spidey quickly jumped over the beast and landing in between it and the girls, he looked back to see if they were unharmed; good they looked alright just a little shell shocked…

"But take it from me, you'd probably get the runs if you ate these two" said Spidey shoving a thumb back at the two girls.

"Uh you two may wanna get outta here like…right now"

The girls, not wanting to argue with that notion, nodded and ran as fast as their legs could let them.

Suddenly the beast was able to tear away from Spidey's webs, quickly lunging at the teenage superhero, and managing to knock him into a tree, it would make this red and blue human pay for getting in the way of it and its dinner.

As it stalked closer to him Peter could finally get a better look at the thing. With the moon light illuminating the beasts form he could tell that this thing was not human or maybe it once was?

He wasn't to sure, its as if this thing was once human but…something happened to it. Whatever happened to this thing it developed a taste a for human flesh, and he had to put it down fast.

Quickly regaining his senses, Spidey jumped over the beast as it plunged its fangs into the tree where he once was.

"Ok look buddy I get that your mad- WOAH!-I mean*pant* if I looked like that I'd probably be pretty mad too, but hey you know what they say*huff* some exercise and a new hair cut can make a big differe-UUAGH!"

Spidey got the wind knocked out of him as the beast hit him square in the gut. Realizing that this thing was no joke he had to come up with a way to beat it. Ok so it was stronger than him, probably a little faster than him, but it wasn't smarter than him…

"Alright brain don't fail me know…Hey big gross and ugly! Were you born looking like roadkill or did you get that from your mom!"

Trying to lure the beast to a more open area, he decided throwing dumb insults at it was the best way to get it to follow him, frankly he wasn't even sure if the thing understood him. But regardless it worked, and the beast roared at spiderman and began charging at him.

Luring it to the baseball field of the school, he was sure that nobody would get hurt if he brought it here.

"Alright I guess now is as good of a time as any to see if this electric webbing I made was worth the hassle."

Webbing the beast's arms and feet to the ground to make it stationary, then webbing its gapping jaw shut to render it's sharp blade like teeth useless. Adjusting the voltage just enough on his web shooters, Spiderman covered his hands in the electric webbing to make web like boxing gloves infused with electricity.

"Alright! This is gonna hurt me a whole lot more than its gonna hurt you!"

Zipping towards the beast with a powerful overhand right followed by a destructive uppercut right to its chin,sparks flying from his fists everytime he connected. Spidey continued to lay into the beast with everything he had, and it was working. Deciding to finish this, Spidey leapt up onto the beasts head to use as a spring board, gaining some massive air, he shot two webs to the ground beneath the beast to propel himself downward with such force that when his foot collided with beasts face he definitely heard its jaw pop. Due to Spidey's momentum the beasts face was smashed in between Spidey's foot and the ground, leaving an obvious indentation in the baseball field that shook the school grounds.

Hopping off the beast to see if that did the trick. Spidey readied himself for round two, but that wasn't necessary. The beast began to dematerialize into bits of glowing red dust until finally not a trace of it was left.

"Uh…yea! And stay down!...um…"

Spiderman waited a few seconds longer to see if anything else would happen, but nothing ever did. Hearing police sirens in the distance, that was his cue to leave and thus he began to make his way home, stopping periodically to make sure that there were no more hell beasts running amuck.

As he lay in bed that night bruised and battered but overall, just sore. He wondered,

"…what was that thing?..."

AN : So, in case it wasn't terribly obvious, this is my first FanFic and i have to say, im pretty excited.

Im just going to clear some things up real quick so that the coming chapters will be easier to take in

1. Im going to beef up Spider-Man and nerf the dxd characters a little just so the wall crawler can keep up. Spideys no slouch mind you but hes going to go up against actual gods and other wordly beings so its only fair.

2. Some elements of the dxd story are going to be changed for the sake of the fic. I realised that writing this story was going to be a bit tricky so im going to have to tweak some things from both universes nothing too major though, most plot points and arcs will stay more or less the same with a a few of my own being added in.

3. Some of Isseis harem will be going to Peter/Spiderman. I think its only fair that Peter gets some love seeing as hes going to be a main character in this story. Plus, Peter is known for being quite the lady's man (in the comics anyway).

4. I will be adding more Spiderman characters later but in the meantime, it will mostly consist of DxD characters. For the time being im not 100% sure who i do and don't want in this fic i already have a few in mind but i dont want to add too much to the fic and have it overflow (if that makes sense)
