A new story is here. I should stop making these given the amount I already have, but my mind just keeps spitting out ideas and some times I just can't help myself. Anyways this came from me really wanting to do a Demon Slayer x My Hero Academia fic since there aren't too many and there are only a few out there that I really like. After scrapping two other ideas I eventually came up with this one. Hope everyone enjoys.

Chapter 1: The Start of Something New

The eyes of a young woman slowly opened to the sight of a big bright blue sky. The soothing sound waves gently crashing filled her ears. She felt the warm sand beneath her. By the weather she could tell it was summertime.

"I'm on a beach?" She muttered.

She slowly sat up and looked around. There were large piles of trash across the whole beach. She looked at this with confusion and disgust. She slowly got up and dusted the sand off of her.

"Who would just let all this trash pile up?" She questioned. "How did I even get here? If I remember correctly I…"

Her eyes widened.

"I'm supposed to be dead." She began. "I had fought the Upper Moon Two demon. He absorbed me along with all the poison I had saturated my body with. Then Kanao and Inosuke managed to kill him thanks to the poison weakening him"

She looked down at herself. She found no signs of injuries, and her clothing was still intact save some holes from when the demon's attack had pierced her. She was dressed in a dark purple straight-lined jacket with gold buttons. Her hakama pants were the same color as her jacket and were tucked into butterfly pattern fabric. The fabric was white before fading into turquoise then pink. She had on white sandals with purple straps and dark purple socks.

"I don't feel like I'm dead. Other than my haori or my sword, I'm wearing what I wore before I died. I think they fell away right before that demon absorbed me." She observed. "But that still doesn't explain how I got here. Hm… let me think…"

I was with Kanae, Mom, and Dad in a field of flowers. We had met up together in the afterlife. I looked away for a moment when a dark void suddenly surrounded me. I had tried to look for anybody but I was all alone. I felt something carry me away and then… I opened my eyes.

"GrrrrRRRR ALL THAT TELLS ME WHAT I ALREADY KNOW!" She shouted.

She let out a deep sigh.

"Getting mad isn't going to help me. I need to find out where exactly I…" She began.

She had begun to walk towards the beach's exit when she caught herself in the mirror. She looked four years younger than she was when she had died, her hair was even more tucked in like it was back then. Her calm face turned to one of pure shock.

"Okay, first I'm alive when I was dead and now I'm fourteen. Just what the hell is going on here?!" She shouted. "Grr… I don't have time to worry about this. I need to get off this beach and find out where I am and see if I can find someone who'll help me."

She continued walking. She went around some trash pile, when someone ran into her. She fell on her butt.

"Aaaaahh… s-s-s-sorry I-I-I didn't s-s-s-see you there." The voice of a boy expressed nervously.

"It's fine I should have been more aware of my surroundings." She replied as she got up and dusted herself off.

She then looked at who ran it to her. It was a boy, who appeared to be about fourteen or fifteen, with fluffy green hair. He wore a white t-shirt and yellow shorts. His face was a bright red and he seemed very nervous. Not far behind him was an older man who looked more like a skeleton with scraggly blond hair. He wore a loose fitting white shirt and khaki pants. He had a confused look on his face. He's speaking Japanese so that's a good sign. I can make this work.

"A-a-a-are y-y-y-y-you…" The boy began.

Suddenly Shinobu grabbed his hands. He yelped in surprise. She moved in closer and he became a stuttering mess.

"Oh perfect, I'm so glad someone was here. I don't know what happened. I was in a flower field one minute and then before I knew it I had woken up on this beach." She stated with a smile as his face became more and more red. "My name is Shinobu Kocho by the way, would you mind telling me where I am?"

The boy continued to be a stuttering mess. Shinobu tilted her head to the side in confusion.

"We have got to work on your confidence my boy." The older man mentioned. "My names Toshinori Yagi and to answer your question young Kocho, your on Dagobah Beach in Musutafu."

Okay never heard of that place before. She mentally noted as she became nervous. But I'll need to play along. I don't think I'm in the same time period as I was if this junk around me and their clothes are anything to go by. But I can't have them think I'm crazy by saying, 'hey I'm from the Taisho Era and just came back from the dead, mind helping me?'. Something tells me that won't go over well. So…

"Oh ah… sorry my geography isn't that good… ah… what city is that near?" She questioned.

"That's quite alright. To answer your question, it's near Tokyo." He replied.

"So I am still in Japan, that's good to hear." She replied as she let go of the boy's hands. "Though that still doesn't explain how I ended up on this beach. I know for a fact I was in a field of flowers."

"You were probably hit by some sort of teleportation quirk. Though I don't see what the motive would be…" Toshinori brought up.

"I'm going to guess that this 'quirk' is some sort of power?" Shinobu questioned.

"Yes… how are you not familiar with quirks?" Toshinori questioned.

Crap I said that out loud!

"I uh… it's… not that I'm not familiar with them it's just…" She began.

Okay so there are special powers called quirks now. I'll assume they are fairly common with the way he's talking about them. That frees me up a bit in creating my alibi. They probably even have someone who has a lie detector quirk. That could help… but they might still think I'm crazy if I tell them the whole story. A crazy person can say something that isn't true but to them it is. It won't prove my story to be true, just that I believe my story to be true. Assuming that this is the future and not some parallel reality, there had to be a time when quirks started appearing. Maybe I can get him to believe I'm from a time when quirks were first starting to appear and weren't as common. It's a gamble but from this situation it's the best shot I have.

"It's just that I've never heard of special powers being referred to as quirks. They weren't very common last I checked." Shinobu finished.

"I see…" Toshinori replied.

He eyed Shinobu. Please believe me, please believe me, please believe me.

"If I had to guess you were from a time when quirks were just starting to appear and it was a time travel quirk that brought you here." He noted. "Quirks were called something different back then before 'quirk' became the standard colloquialism for them. It would explain why you aren't familiar with quirks. But that was almost two hundred years ago."

"It's been that long huh?" Shinobu replied. "Could a quirk powerful enough to send me that far forward in time really exist?"

"It's not impossible however, time related quirks are incredibly rare. I personally haven't heard of any even remotely approaching something like that. The amount of power alone such a feat would require would likely kill the wielder." Toshinori answered. "Frankly even now with 80 percent of the world having some sort of quirk this seems hard to believe, let alone that someone from that far back would have awakened such a quirk in a way you won't notice. But you don't seem crazy and I can't really find any holes in your story."

"Well that's good to hear. I was afraid I'd come across as a loon talking about time travel and such." Shinobu replied.

"Understandable, hm… let me call a friend of mine in the force. He should be able to help sort this out." He suggested. "At the very least he can get you settled in."

"That would be best." Shinobu replied.

"Indeed," He stated as he got out his phone.

He noticed the green haired boy was still a red-face stuttering mess.

"SNAP OUT OF IT BOY!" He shouted as some blood came out of his mouth.

"Gah! What the who the…" He expressed.

Shinobu's eyes widened in surprise.

"Sir! Are you okay?!" She questioned

"Worry not young lady, this is from an old injury. I've learned to live with it." Toshinori assured her.

"Are you sure? Coughing up blood like that isn't good." Shinobu pointed out.

"Trust me I know, but there's nothing I can really do other than live with it." Toshinori assured her.

"If you say so." Shinobu relented.

"Anyways, Young Midoriya, I'm calling a friend of mine in the police force. Why don't you keep the young lady company while I do so." Toshinori suggested.

"Huh?! M-m-m-m-m-m-me?" The boy questioned.

"Yes you, you'll need to work on your confidence anyways if you're going to be a hero." Toshinori stated before walking away to talk with his friend.

"B-b-b-b-but I uh…" He began.

He could only watch as Toshinori walked away from them. He nervously turned to her.

"S-s-s-s-s-s-so w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-why d-d-d-d-d-d-don't w-we start with o-o-o-o-our n-names. I-I-I-I-I'm I-Izuku M-M-M-Midoriya and uh… w-w-wait y-y-you already s-s-said your name, S-S-S-S-Shinobu K-K-K-K-Kocho, r-r-r-right." He expressed.

Holy crap I just told a girl my name! He mentally exclaimed.

"Yes, glad you were listening while you were a stuttering mess, less explaining that way." Shinobu replied. "I'm guessing you're not used to talking to girls. Especially one as cute as me."

"Y-y-y-y-yeah… u-u-u-u-uhm… I mean… ah…" Izuku began.

Oh he's gonna be more fun to tease then Tomioka.

"We'll don't worry." She assured him. "I'll be sure to help you with that problem. Starting with…"

She moved in close and hugged him being sure that her chest was being pushed into him.

"This," She stated.

His face became bright red as he became unable to speak. And to top it off. She let go off him and kissed him on the cheek. He passed out and collapsed onto his back. Shinobu smiled at her hand work.

"Too easy," She noted.

She bent down and began poking at him.

"Ne ne, Mi-do-ri-ya. Ne ne, are you alright? Ne ne, was that too much for you?" She playfully asked.

"Alright I talked to him. He's busy with a case but right now so we'll have to wait a few days." Toshinori stated as he began to walk back towards the two, not seeing what had happened yet. "In the meantime I suggest…"

He looked on in confusion as Shinobu playfully poked a passed out red faced Izuku with a terrifyingly cheerful smile on her face.

"What happened in the time I was gone?" He questioned.

Elsewhere…

Detective Naomasa hung up his phone after his conversation with Toshinori. He sat at his desk in his office, pondering all that he had been told. A girl who claims she is from the past. To show up now… could it be… no there's no way they're connected. But if they are then maybe…

"Detective." He heard someone call.

"Hm?" He responded while looking up.

He saw a cat headed police officer looking at him.

"The witness is here. He says he's ready to talk." The officer stated.

"I see." Naomasa replied as he stood up. "Perhaps this will shine some light on all of this."

Later…

Toshinori pulled his truck up to the apartment complex where Izuku lived. Izuku stepped out of the truck followed by Shinobu. She looked up at the apartment complex. It was a simple set of four concrete buildings eached with a number marked on it. Definitely an upgrade from how I remember apartments being. Toshinori and Izuku took the lead as they led her towards Izuku's apartment. She noticed one building had '4' marked on it. They actually marked one with four. I hope that's not the building we're staying in.

"A-a-are you sure about this Alllll… Mr. Yagi? I know she needs a place to stay, b-b-but…" Izuku began bringing her out of her thoughts.

"I know you're nervous about this but we don't have much of a choice. My place won't work and we both know why." Toshinori pointed out. "Besides, your mother's already agreed to this. Surprisingly quickly I might add."

"I know right. Still don't know why a chill went down my spine when she said yes?" Izuku added.

It's called your mother's gonna try and make me your wife. Shinobu mentally noted. Izuku led them up to his apartment. Which was not in the building marked with '4' much to Shinobu's relief. Izuku, with some hesitation, opened his door.

"M-m-m-mom, w… we're here!" Izuku called.

A green blur rushed past him without him realizing it.

"Nice to meet you. You must be Shinobu Kocho. I'm Inko, Izuku's mother." Inko greeted.

Izuku spun around to see his mother in front of a surprised and wide eyed Shinobu. Both Izuku and Toshinori looked in the house before looking back at Inko. They did this several more times.

"Your mother was inside the house right?" Toshinori questioned.

"Y-y-y-y-yeah." Izuku answered.

"Is it her quirk?" Toshinori asked.

"I-I don't think attracting small objects have anything to do with moving absurdly fast." Izuku replied. "Do you?"

"No… I… don't think so." Toshinori replied.

"Oh where are my manners. Come on in, I'll show you the guest bedroom then give you a tour of the house." Inko stated as she led Shinobu inside. "After I give you the tour we can talk more about your situation. Oh this is gonna be great. I'll be just like having my own daughter."

Who possibly, definitely, will be my future daughter-in-law. She mentally added.

"Izuku, could you get some tea ready while I show Ms. Kocho around the house?!" Inko requested.

"Ahhhh… yeah." Izuku replied.

Izuku and Toshinori could only watch as Inko led Shinobu into the guest bedroom. They looked at each other, shrugged, and proceeded into the apartment, Izuku closed the door as they did.

Later…

"Long story short Young Kocho here will need to stay at your place until my friend in the force can talk to her and try and get this whole thing sorted." Toshinori finished. "From there we'll discuss with her on what would be best for her."

Toshinori had just finished explaining Shinobu's situation, as they knew it. He took a sip of his tea.

"Any questions?" He asked.

"Not really, though it was nice to meet you Mr. Yagi. I knew Izuku had seriously started working to become a hero, but I never thought All Might would be involved in all of this." Inko expressed.

"Yes, sorry about not having him tell you. I thought best to keep it a secret. Even if I am only All Might's personal secretary I am still closely connected with him and we didn't want to draw unnecessary attention." Toshinori explained.

"As upsetting as it is to have my Izuku keep secrets from me. It's understandable." Inko replied. "I'm just glad that this whole thing has improved Izuku's mood."

Izuku blushed lightly from embarrassment.

"Good to hear. Well with that taken care of I best take my leave." Toshinori expressed as he stood up.

"Are you sure? You're more than welcome to stay for dinner." Inko offered.

"Thank you Mrs. Midoriya, but I really must be going. Have Young Midoriya call me if you need anything." Toshinori stated.

He turned to Izuku.

"Make sure to do some extra exercises tonight since you had to leave the beach early today." He ordered.

"R-right." Izuku replied.

Toshinori nodded before he made his way down the hallway and out of the house.

"Now then, why don't I get dinner ready. A nice home cooked meal oughta do you good." Inko expressed as she got up.

She went to the kitchen.

"I know you didn't have much time in the car ride over to get caught up on the world as it is now so Izuku can help you while I whip up dinner." She stated.

"H-h-h-h-hHUH?!" Izuku expressed.

He felt a chill run down his spine. He looked to Shinobu, who slowly turned to look at him. For an outside observer it appeared as though Shinobu held a gentle smile on her face. To Izuku, it appeared as though a dangerously beautiful demon was ready to torture him.

Nighttime…

Shinobu laid in her bed looking up at the ceiling. The world is so different now. Heroes, Villains, Quirks… not to mention all the technological advancements that had occurred. I'm surprised I was able to play along being from only two hundred years ago while knowing next to nothing about all this stuff. She continued to stare at the ceiling. What do I do from here? I've been just going with the flow so I can properly get by as things are. There are no demons to hunt here. I've avenged my sister. There's nothing left for me to achieve. She turned over in her bed. I should sleep and worry about this later. She let sleep take her into a peaceful rest.

Elsewhere…

Several men worked in some sort of lab on various computers. They appeared like normal scientists. A hooded man in a black coat walked up behind one who was frantically working at his computer

"Did you find it yet?" The hooded man questioned.

"Not yet sir." The man working at the computer responded. "This is proving quite difficult."

"Well keep working. An anomaly like that doesn't just happen randomly." The hooded man stated.
