Hey everybody! It's time for another collection of Mickey Mouse and Friends stories.
Our story opens up at Mickey's house, where he and Pluto are relaxing and enjoying a quiet night at home together.
"This is the life, Pluto." Mickey pet his dog. "Just a nice night at home together with nothing to do."
"Ruff!" Pluto barked.
Just then, the doorbell rang.
"Gosh, I wonder who that could be?" Mickey wondered.
He went over to the door and saw Donald and his nephews.
"Oh hi, Donald, hello boys." said Mickey. "What's up?"
"Mickey, I need you to babysit the boys while I am out." said Donald. "I want to watch a movie marath-I mean, Daisy and I are going on a date and Uncle Scrooge is at a meeting."
"Well Donald..." Mickey gulped. "I was really not planning on watching, but I guess-"
"Oh thank you, Mickey! Thank you!" Donald shook Mickey's hand. "Now if you'll excuse me, I've got a date to attend. Have fun with Mickey, boys!"
Without hesitation, Donald tossed the boys right at Mickey and ran off into his car, driving at the speed of light.
"Okay boys, what do you want to do for fun?" Mickey asked the nephews.
"Coloring!" The nephews said in unison and held out some crayons.
"Coloring, huh? Well, sure." said Mickey. "I mean, how bad can that be?"
In no time at all, the boys began wrecking havoc all over Mickey's house. Huey was drawing on the wall, Dewey was watching a silly TV show, and Louie was raiding the fridge for food.
"Boys, boys, please!" Mickey tried to calm them down. "Calm down."
The nephews ignored Mickey and kept doing what they were doing.
"How does Donald stand it?" Mickey sighed.
Just then, he felt a tug on his red shorts. It was Pluto.
"Pluto? What is it, boy?" He asked his dog.
"Ruff!" Pluto handed Mickey a red storybook.
"Good idea, pal!" Mickey took the book from Pluto's mouth. "Okay boys, I've got a big surprise for you!"
"Big surprise?" The boys gasped and ran over to Mickey.
"What is it, Mickey?" asked Louie. "A brand new video game?"
"Nope." Mickey shook his head. "Even better."
"Tickets to the Magic Kingdom?" asked Huey.
"Nope." Mickey shook his head. "Keep guessing!"
"What is it?!" asked the nephews.
"A storybook!" Mickey showed the boys the book.
"Oh, great." the boys groaned.
"You bet it is!" Mickey exclaimed. "Now sit down and listen to these wonderful stories. I've loved them since I was a little mouse."
The triplets sat down and Mickey sat on a chair.
"Alright, boys." Mickey opened up the book. "The Story of King Midas..."
