New story! I'm very excited for this one. I know a lot of people, including myself gush over Cole as a father, so I thought, why not? What if the baby wasn't Master Wu, so in this story he isn't. Disclaimer: I do not own Ninjago or any of the episodes I use lines from, which will probably be all of them.

Chapter I: Snake Jaguar

"I have to get out of here," Cole said to himself as he was sitting alone in his cell. He was just put in a cell after the Sons of Garmadon found out about him being Rocky Dangerbuff, and Zane was still undercover as Snake Jaguar.

Suddenly, Cole had an idea. He signaled his Earth Punch so he could bust his way out of the cell and punched the cell door.

"Ow!" he yelled as his fist hit the hard rock. "Vengestone."

Suddenly, Cole heard some gang members talking behind him.

"Do you have him?" the biker with the skull shirt and red mohawk asked.

"Of course I do, but why can't we just finish the job ourselves? I mean, we have him and our swords," the short biker replied.

"U.V. would go crazy if we did her job for her," the mohawk man replied.

The two bikers put the small box they were holding in another cell before exiting again and saying, "It'll be good to see Lord Garmadon again.

"You mean, 'It'll be bad'" the other replied punching one hand with the other.

"Lord Garmadon?" Cole asked himself.

"Hey! Do you always talk to yourself so much? Shut it!" the mohawk yelled.

"Yeah! Shut it!" the short one yelled.

"I don't talk to myself that much. I mean, sometimes, but not that much. I mean, it's only when I kind of-Oh," Cole said as he realized that he just proved the bikers point.

Meanwhile Zane was being shoved through a crowd of gang members. The night before, he had assumed a false identity as Snake Jaguar, who wanted to join the Sons of Garmadon. So far, it was going pretty well, as he had helped capture Cole, saved a man named Mr. E's life, and knew that he could act pretty well, and he was correct as two of the generals had taken Zane below the subway trains to their secret hideout. Eventually Zane was shoved so hard to the front that he fell right on his face in front of a very small man.

"So, you're the Big Man?" Zane asked in confusion. Seriously, this dude was so short.

"And you're the scum who saved Mr. E," a huge silver skinned man laughed from behind the short guy. "They say your name is Snake Jaguar. Now, what sort of name is that?" he asked as he came up to Zane.

"The sort that'll put you on your backside if you have to ask!" Zane replied stepping forward. "So, you're in charge of the Sons of Garmadon?"

"He think I'm in charge!" the Big Man laughed, along with the rest of the gang. "I'm Killow. It's my job to decide who's in and who's out. You wanna know more about us? First you have to become one of us. And to be a Son of Garmadon, you first have to ride with us. So, what do you say boys and girls? Shall we take him to the Teeth?"

"Teeth! Teeth! Teeth!" the bikers chanted.

Zane looked around the room in confusion until his eyes fell onto Ultra Violet.

"Eyes forward, weirdo!" she told him.

"What is the Teeth?" Zane asked him.

"Like I said, you want answers, first you have to ride," Killow said again.

"But, he doesn't have a bike," Ultra laughed.

"You want to join a motorcycle gang, and you have no bike?" Killow asked.

Everyone laughed at this comment.

"I jammed it down those ninja's throats!" Zane replied. "They had it coming!"

Everyone cheered at this violent action their new friend has done.

"You can have Ultra Violet's bike," Killow offered.

"But-but I wanna ride!" Ultra protested.

"The Quiet One wants you here," Killow said as he put a hand on the psycho's shoulder.

"The Quiet One?" Zane silently asked himself.

Afterwards Ultra Violet came down to Cole's cell to speak to him.

"I want a word with the ninja!" she yelled at the guards. "In private!"

"Of course, Ultra Violet. He's all yours," the mohawk man said as he walked away.

"Yeah, as long as it's not me. Do whatever you want," the short one added.

"I ain't in the mode, sunshine!' Cole said as he looked away and crossed his arms.

Zane disabled his disguise to reveal that U.V. was actually Zane!

"Zane!" Cole cheered. "Aren't you a sight for sour eyes!"

"Did they hurt your eyes?" Zane asked. He was clearly concerned.

"Yes. No. I'll explain later," Cole replied. "Just get me out of here!"

"I need to keep my cover. Can't you stay here a little longer?" Zane asked.

Cole gasped at this comment. "I can't believe you're just leaving me here!"

"When the station clears, break out," Zane ordered.

"What do you mean I just walked past you?" the two heard Ultra Violet ask, "Get your eyes checked!"

"Good luck, friend," Zane told him before hiding behind a nearby barrel.

"How do I get out of here?" Cole asked. "I need a key! Zane! Zane!"

As Ultra Violet started walking up he became scared that she might discover Zane's identity so he said, "Sane! I'm not sane! Get me out of here, I'm insane!"

"You and I both!" U.V. laughed.

As the race was starting Zane, as Snake Jaguar was on U.V.'s bike while she was reluctantly giving the word to start the race.

"Bikers ready!" she asked.

"You know the rules when you ride with us?" Killow asked Snake Jaguar.

"Let me guess, there are no rules," Zane guessed.

"Well, that was no fun, was it?" Killow partially told himself.

"Ride or die!" Ultra Violet yelled as she dropped her mask as a signal for the bikers to start.

All of the bikers except for Snake Jaguar drove away while Snake Jaguar was having trouble starting up his bike.

"Why can't I figure this out?" Zane thought. "I'm a nindroid!"

"Come on, Zane. You can do this," he encouraged himself out loud.

Suddenly the bike drove off pretty fast, so, he quickly caught up with the rest.

As soon as Snake Jaguar finally managed to leave, the phone started to ring.

"What do you want?" Ultra Violet said into the phone. "Oh, no, I'm sorry. I didn't know that it was you. What? He is? I'll tell Killow right away."

As Killow was making his way through the subway tunnels he got a call on his communicator.

"Yes?" he asked.

"He's one of the ninja," U.V. told him.

"Who?"

"Snake Jaguar."

"Snake Jaguar's a spy?" Killow, then pointed to one of the other bikers and said, "Make sure the new guy doesn't finish the race."

The biker drove up to Snake Jaguar and hit his bike with his own. Banging him into the wall and knocking him behind most of the bikers. Killow yelled in frustration at seeing that Zane was still conscious and still in the race.

The bikers kept riding through the tunnels, and they still hadn't lost Zane.

Two of the bikers closest to Zane nodded to each other as a signal to start some sort of plan.

Zane tried cutting through on the right side, but the biker on that side hit him with his bike, causing Zane to fall back again. He then zoomed forward and rode on the left wall to get by the first two bikers.

Zane started getting a little nervous as he was getting hit a lot. He hated using this bike, but his nervousness caused his cloak to go out.

"I see you, ninja!" one of the bikers yelled.

He took out knife and tried to stab Zane with it a few times. Seeing that he kept missing, he instead stabbed the bike causing a bunch of gasoline to spill out.

"Useless," Zane thought.

One of the bikers, who tried to stop Zane earlier took out a match and lit the gasoline. Zane tried to take the flames down with his ice powers, but the biker who tried to stab him grabbed his hand before he could do it. The two kept fighting and eventually Zane managed to swap bikes with the man, right before he was almost hit by the subway.

The bikers drove up the subway steps and started riding through the streets of Ninjago City. The police tried chasing the bikers, but Zane jumped over to car, causing the airbags to go off.

"Pixal, can you read me?" Zane asked. "My cover may be blown, but I spot the Mask of Deception."

"I read you," Pixal replied. "Requiring picture."

Back at the bounty Nya and Harumi were able to see what Zane could see.

"Did he say he sees the Mask of Deception?" Harumi asked.

"I don't know how long I'll last, so, I'll tell you this now. I don't know who's in charge, but he is known as the Quiet One," Zane told the girls.

"The Quiet One?" Harumi asked.

"Hold on a little longer," Nya told him. "We have a new bike coming your way. Zane? Where's Cole?"

Speaking of the earth ninja, he was currently trying to pick the lock of his cell with a screw. Seeing that this wasn't working, he threw the screw down in frustration.

"Okay, think! Think Cole. You're not thinking, you're running your mouth. Look who's talking! Oh," Cole said becoming even more frustrated about proving the biker's points. Cole noticed that he tended to talk to himself when he was scared or nervous or when he was in pain. When Cole lost his mother he felt broken, lost, confused. He wanted everything to end, but then he met Wu. He took him in and cared for him like his own son. Now Wu was gone too, and there was nothing he could do. "Now I really am having a conversation with myself. How annoying is that?" Cole asked.

"Hey, Dangerbuff!" his guard yelled. "Be quiet!"

"That's it!" Cole realized. The guard was the one holding the key!

Cole cleared his throat real loudly, went as close to the cell door as he possibly could, and started singing the worst version of Glow Worm he could ever come up with.

The guard closed the door put his hands over his ears, started pacing, doing anything he could to deal with the extremely annoying singing.

"Stop!" he yelled.

Cole ignored him and kept on singing.

"Can't take it!" The guard ran over to Cole's cell and asked," Would you shut up"

"Maybe," Cole replied.

The guard started to relax a little until Cole grabbed the man's shirt, hit him into the cell door, knocking him out, and grabbing the keys.

"Dad would be proud," Cole said as he walked away from the unconscious guard on the floor.

During the race the bikers started to get stuck in traffic. Especially Zane, since he actually cared about human life.

"Pixal, the mask is getting away. Can you find me an alternative route?" Zane asked.

"All routes are blocked," Pixal replied as she showed Zane a picture of the streets.

"Then, I'll have to find my own," Zane replied getting off of his bike and going through the cars on foot.

"Just passing through," Zane said as he was passing a car with a very shocked man inside.

"Look, son! There's the titanium one!" the man said pointing at Zane.

As the boy looked up Zane turned his cloak back on.

"Yeah, right, Dad!" the boy replied looking back at his phone.

Zane started hopping over cars, hoping to find a way back into the race, when he heard Nya's voice through his intercom.

"Zane, look up," she said.

Zane did so to see a new bike being lowered from the bounty by jets on the bike. Zane just stared in awe. It was just for him. White, blue, and gold highlights, along with cool ninja designs, and on the front of the bike was a falcon head design.

"Perfect," Zane breathed.

Zane hopped even more quickly to get to his bike, which seemed to be equipped with many interesting features.

"This will do," he managed to say.

"Hope we're not to late to the party," Nya said. "Think you can catch up?"

"I don't think. I know!" Zane replied before speeding away.

Back at the SOG headquarters, Cole was sneaking around the place trying to find the cell with the box. It didn't seem relevent to what he actually needed to do, but something told him that he had to find out what was in that box.

He looked through one of the cell windows to see an extremely small box inside.

"Weird," Cole thought.

He used the key he had to unlock the door and walked in. Cole had the strangest feeling that whatever was in this box was important.

"What are you?" he asked as he lifted up the blanket over the box to reveal...A BABY!

Cole freaked. He kicked the box away from him like he thought that the baby was going to come out and attack.

"That's not what I expected," he said.

The baby kept giggling and laughing from inside his box.

"How can he do that?" Cole thought. "Oh, man! I hope I didn't get that wrong."

Cole lifted the blanket up again to see a happy, giggling, innocent child in a box. He was wrapped in a bright blue blanket, and he had such bright green eyes that seemed to shine with excitement on being found.

Cole didn't know what to do. He couldn't take the kid back to the bounty because it lays a huge target on him, but if he leaves him here then the SOG might hurt him. In his indecision, Cole almost left the baby there, but right as he was about to get up he noticed something else on the baby's blanket. It was red! Bright, red liquid that was dotted all over a corner of his blanket. Cole gasped when he saw this.

"What happened to you?" Cole asked in sympathy. "I can't leave you here!" Cole picked the baby up out of his box and said, "It's nice to have a companion to talk to, don't you think?"

"You didn't think it'd be that easy?" U.V. Laughed from behind them. "Did you?"

Cole turned around to see the silver skinned psycho with her evil, malicious grin.

The baby became scared at seeing his captore and immediately started crying.

"Sweet! Isn't he!" Ultra mentioned. "It's a shame I had to kill his parents."

"You!" Cole said in anger.

"Me!" Ultra replied before attacking Cole.

The two started fighting over the baby in a game of tug of war. At first Cole was afraid that he'd hurt the little guy, but he seemed to enjoy it. Suddenly, they both lost their grip and the baby flew into the air. Cole was horrified! Ultra pushed her foe out of the way and caught the child, scaring him again.

"Time to finish the job," she said.

Cole quickly got up and lunged at Ultra. He grabbed hold of the baby and said, "You wouldn't hurt a child!"

"Watch me!" she yelled as she kicked Cole in the stomach and threw a sai blade into his shoulder. Cole winced as he felt the pain of the weapon, but there were innocent eyes in the room, so, he acted strong and pulled the sai blade out of his shoulder. He then threw it aside and lunged at Ultra again. This time, he managed to get a hold of the baby. He kicked Ultra away, but that wasn't enough for her. She wanted more. So, Cole gave it to her. He slid the baby across the floor so he could make the fight more fair, and flipped over to the side of the room the baby was on.

"Even if you win this fight, you'll lose in the end. Lord Garmadon will destroy you!" Ultra ranted.

"Lloyd's father sacrificed himself for Ninjago! He wasn't a bad man!" Cole objected.

"This one will be!' she laughed before kicking Cole in the stomach again. He slid across the floor hit the baby with his head, and they both slid outside of the cell.

"Lord Garmadon will eventually destroy you all!" Ultra said as she picked up her sai blade and lunged at Cole again, but this time Cole slammed the door in her face before she could get to him.

The baby laughed again as he saw Ultra's face squished onto the window making Cole smile.

"Let's go, kid," Cole told the baby before he started to run as far away from the place as he could get.

Meanwhile, Zane was riding his new bike outside of the city and was now getting to some sort of desert area. He shot a couple bikers down with hooks on his bike. He loved this new thing!

"Yes, this will do just fine," he said out loud.

He then shot a few more bikers down much to their frustration, leaving only Mr. E and Killow.

"I've caught up with the mask," Zane told his friends.

Killow put on the Mask of Deception, much to Zane's horror and showed the ice ninja his powers. He lifted Zane's bike up into the air before dropping it down again and lifting some rocks up and dropping them over Zane's head.

"Zane! Are you seeing what we're seeing?" Nya asked.

"I was about to ask you the same thing," Zane replied.

He easily dodged the flying rocks as they hit the ground and kept on to his way. Killow hit his bike into Zane's. A motion Zane was starting to get used to now while he was still worried about some more rocks coming his way.

"If you're having trouble, I built some additional help," Nya informed her robotic friend.

Zane looked at his control panel to see a falcon button.

"I see that now," he said.

He pushed the button, and the front of the bike came off. It was his falcon friend!The falcon used some cannons to blast the rocks into a million tiny pieces and came back to Zane.

"It's good to see you old friend. Or should I say new," Zane told his falcon.

Killow was mad. The ninja was still chasing them.

"You brought a ninja with you," he told Mr. E accusingly. "This is your fault. Fix it!"

The falcon went back onto Zane's bike and Killow began to block the path to him so it would just be a one on one battle.

Mr. E stopped his bike in Zane's way and took out his sword, ready to attack. Zane didn't even slow down. He just kept going and passed Mr. E on the side rocks. Mr. E chased after Zane and his bike got hit with more than one shuriken. He used his sword to take a shuriken off of his bike just as the two enemies were making their way to a ravine.

"You're the Quiet One," Zane yelled, "aren't you. You're the one in charge!"

Mr. E knocked his bike into Zane's again.

"Who are you?" Zane asked.

Mr. E didn't speak. He reached over to Zane handlebars and directed him straight for the ravine.

"Who are you!" Zane screamed before jumping off of his bike.

Mr. E had no intention on being killed without a purpose so he jumped off the bikes too leaving both of them to fall into the ravine.

As Zane got up he finally gave up on his cloak revealing his true face to Mr. E as well as Mr. E showing Zane something shocking about him. Sparks were flying out of Zane's foe as Mr. E got up and put his arm back on with ease.

"You're like me," Zane mentioned, "a nindroid."
