Izuku Midoriya hears the words he needed to hear from two people much sooner than in Canon, UA's actually a university, and Izuku has an ability to travel to other worlds. Will Izuku become the number one hero or will he fall to the league and those who hate him?" I guess we'll have to see as the story progresses. That said I hope you enjoy and I'll see you with each update.

1. Chapter 1: The portal in the woods

Here comes another new story in the BNHA or MHA category. This story is an adult story as is usual for me, and will involve some crossover elements. That said Izuku is the main character and he will have a harem. I may make a poll for who should be in the harem but some spots are already picked and filled and it won't be "Best girl only," or if I hear complaints I won't change it because someone bitched "Why you no pick best girl." IZUKU WILL HAVE A LARGE HAREM! There will be pros, students, and more. That said I hope you enjoy and I'll see you at the author's note at the bottom.

Chapter 1: Izuku and the portal to another world

Izuku Midoriya, a young man of ten years was currently walking through the woods in the park near his apartment complex. He was humming under his breath as he walked and not paying much attention to where he was going. He thought he knew every part of these woods, which was mostly true though he'd never been so close to the heart of the woods before. Izuku was an adventurous young man who dreamed of being a hero. He was also quirkless, like twenty percent of the worlds' population the other eighty percent had quirks of some kind. Quirkless were considered worthless by many earning Izuku the nickname "Deku" from Katsuki Bakugo his childhood friend.

Deku stood about five feet tall, which was kind of tall for his age but not too much, he had emerald eyes, verdant or green, and black hair that was really fluffy, and was currently wearing his elementary school uniform. Of course part of why he was exploring alone was to avoid Kaa-chan or Katsuki, his goons and everyone else who would pick on Izuku. Izuku sighed as he sat down on a log and said "Man I feel so bored." He stretched and lay back on the log then closed his eyes and mumbled "I wish I had some friends. Ever since Kaa-chan started bullying people I had to stand up to him which just makes him mad. I wish I knew how we could be friend's again." Izuku sighed and stopped mumbling then opened one eye looking up through the leaves of the trees at the sky.

The mixture of blue sky and green leaves made him smile and close his eyes enjoying the sunlight gently falling down on his face and chest. He took a nap as he laid there. Since there was no school today it was still early in the day allowing him to lose track of time. When he woke up the sun was starting to go down and he realized that it was past two o'clock. He sighed and said aloud "Mom's going to be so worried." He started mumbling up a storm of things that would happen when he got home. He was so caught up in his mumbling he didn't realize that instead of leaving the forest toward home he was walking further into it.

However before he got to far he heard someone crying. He stopped muttering and called out "Hello, is someone there?" The crying just intensified and he sighed softly then started walking toward them using his favorite hero's catchphrase. He said "HAVE NO FEAR FOR I AM HERE!" Though it was a lot squeakier than All Might's. All Might was the number one hero and Izuku's favorite hero. He was the one who inspired Izuku to be a hero and save everyone with a smile on his face. He still held onto hope that he could become a great hero like All Might some day. Izuku walked toward the crying and saw a girl who was a couple years older and a little taller than him holding her ankle and crying as she laid in a clearing. Izuku walked up and said "Are you ok?"

The girl shook her head and said "I can't walk. I tripped and sprained my ankle in a rabbit's burrow. I also don't remember the way back out of here. I'm scared and I don't want to use my quirk to fly because I don't want to crash or anyone to get mad at me." Izuku walked over and hugged her like he always wished someone would do when he was hurting. She sniffled and hugged him back then said "How are we going to get out of here?"

Izuku stepped back and smiled saying "Have no fear for I am here. I know the way back to civilization based on the sun, and I can help you walk." The girl giggled at him using All Might's phrase and oddly enough she felt like she could trust the adorable cinnamon bun that was Izuku Midoriya even if she didn't know who he was yet. Izuku smiled and said "I'm Izuku Midoriya, it's nice to meet you miss." She puffed out her cheeks and lightly bopped him on the head. He winced and asked "What was that for?"

She said with a pout that turned cheerful as she introduced herself "Don't call me miss I'm not an old lady. I'm Nejire, Nejire Hado, but you can call me Nejire Chan. That's my future hero name." Izuku rubbed his head and smiled at Nejire from how she cheered up after introducing herself. She said "What's your quirk Izukun?"

Izuku sighed and hoping it wouldn't ruin their blossoming friendship said "I'm quirkless Nejire Chan. I want to be a hero though so I'll work hard. Anyway I think we'd best start heading to the edge of the forest before the sun goes down." She nodded and slowly tried to stand holding back whimpers as Izuku wrapped her arm around his shoulder amazed by how light the girl was. He started to walk back the way he came until he found a land mark he recognized which was an old gnarled tree stump with moss growing on it. He said "We're about a half hour's walk from the edge of the forest. Hey Nejire Chan, do you need me to switch to giving you a piggy back ride or are you ok walking more?"

Nejire sighed and said "I don't think I can walk anymore Izukun." He slipped in front of her and let her jump on his back then she said "Onward my faithful Izukun! I, the great Nejire Chan, can see the whole forest from up here." Izuku giggled along with her and she whispered in his ear "Thank you Izukun. I don't think I'd have ever gotten out of there without you."

Izuku checked the sky and saw that the sun had only moved down toward the horizon a small amount surprising him. He thought it would take hours to get out to this point but in reality only took an hour and a half at most. They still had plenty of time to get to the civilized part of the park and out of the forest. He asked Nejire Chan, "Hey Nejire Chan, why were you so far in the park's woods?"

Nejire chuckled and said "I heard there's some kind of giant doorway in the park that no one can open. I wanted to see it. I also just enjoy walking in the woods cause they're so pretty. If I hadn't fallen in that rabbit burrow I'd be so much lighter on my feet. Though I'm kinda glad I did because it let me meet you Izukun." Izuku smiled sadly at that. He knew Nejire probably wouldn't be talking to him if she hadn't gotten hurt let alone rely on him. He started mumbling about how he was both happy to meet Nejire and sad she got hurt. She lightly bopped him on the head and said "Izukun you're mumbling." Izuku blushed. She asked "Why do you mumble so much?"

Izuku blushed more and said "I-I-I mumble be-because I-I'm nervous. Mom thinks it's because I haven't let all my thoughts out in normal tones of voice due to fear. I don't know more than that. W-w-w-wait I'm talking to a girl and I wasn't st-st-stuttering this whole time! I-I-I guess I w-w-was so wr-wrapped up in saving you t-t-that I forgot you were a p-p-pretty girl who actually liked talking to me."

Nejire smiled and said "AHHHHH Izukun! I didn't know you thought I was pretty. What do you like best about me?"

Izuku mumbled "Yoursmileisreallypretty." Nejire seemed to understand because she giggled and he continued a bit louder "I-I-I a-also l-l-like your h-h-hair. It's really long and p-p-pretty."

Nejire cheered and said "Thanks Izukun that makes me feel great." Izuku nodded and she continued "How far out are we?" He shrugged and glanced at the sky then mumbled what sounded like 'ten to fifteen minutes out.' She cheered and said "We're almost in the actual play part of the park YAY!" Izuku laughed nervously. When they walked out of the forest about twelve and a half minutes later Nejire said "FREEDOM!"

Izuku laughed at that and said "R-r-r-relax Nejire Chan." She giggled really liking when he said her hero name and he said "What school are you going to go to for College?"

Nejire said "UA of course! I want to be a hero, but not just any hero one of the best!" Izuku hummed and she said "I also think you'll do fine without a quirk Izukun. You just gotta train up your body to handle the entrance exam and you can be the first quirkless hero. It would be awesome to see you beating up bad guys and since your younger than me when I have my own agency you can join up as a sidekick. Wouldn't that be great, being heroes together?"

Izuku blinked and had a watery smile on his face. He hadn't expected anyone to tell him he could be a hero because he was quirkless but here was Nejire saying she wanted to see him at UA and then join her agency once he became a hero like there was no chance he'd be anything else. He said softly "Thanks Nejire Chan."

Nejire heard the tears in his voice and asked "Did I upset you Izukun?" He shook his head in the negative but she thought he was just trying to not hurt her feelings so she said "I'm sorry Izukun. I guess you really wouldn't want to be my sidekick. I hope you don't want to stop being my friend though."

Izuku rubbed his eyes one at a time then said "I was crying because I was happy Nejire Chan. I-I-I'm just so happy that someone believes in me. I-I-I h-h-have a-always b-been told I was worthless by everyone but mom and she couldn't even tell me she believed in my dream. A part of me thinks I'll never be able to completely forgive her."

Nejire said "Well why not start by becoming a hero in your neighborhood?" Izuku set Nejire on a bench as he'd been walking further toward the more frequented areas of the park throughout their talk and she said "You can prove to her you're a hero by being a hero in the community then becoming a hero at UA! If you prove you can handle little things she'll start to believe in you bit by bit. I mean you were only four when she turned down your dream." Izuku stared at Nejire mouth agape and she booped his nose saying "Boop the snoot." He wondered if Nejire was a true genius or she just had moment's of brilliance while also wondering if her cheery persona was a defense mechanism.

He said softly "Maybe you're right Nejire Chan." Completely forgetting to stutter cause he was so focused on her words. Suddenly he looked at her and bowed saying "Thanks so much Nejire Chan." Suddenly something struck him. He puled out his cellphone and checked his service seeing he had full bars then said "Hey Nejire Chan why don't you call your parents to pick you up?" Nejire blushed and he said "You lost your phone in the woods didn't you?" She nodded and he sighed before saying "Then use mine to call them and I'll stay with you til they arrive." She nodded and took his phone then called her mom who should have just gotten off work.

Nejire waited till her mom answered then said "Hey mamma, I need you to come to the park and pick me up. …...Why? I kinda sprained my ankle and need to go to the doctor's. …...I'm fine mamma. I just tripped in a rabbit burrow. …. Yes Mamma I'll try to be more careful next time I'm in the woods, but at least I made a new friend. …... Who is she? She is a guy and his name is Izukun. He's the one who carried me out of the woods and let me use his phone to call you. …...No mamma I don't think he's looking to marry anyone and why do you think he would want to marry me? …... Really mama? …..No I'm not being mean. ….. I love you too I'm at the south side of the forest sitting on a park bench with Izukun. …...yes mom I know we live closer to the east side but it was the way we got out, plus the forest is in the middle of the park so you just have to walk around it. ….Alright love you too. Bye talk to you in about fifteen. Hehe thanks for letting me use your phone Izukun is there anything I can do to thank you?"

Izuku nodded and said "C-c-can you t-t-tell me a-about your q-q-quirk?" She nodded and started telling him about her quirk wave motion. She mentioned it used her vitality and he asked "Do you mean stamina when you say that or actual life force?" She held up one finger to show the first one smiling brightly and he said "I think, if y-y-you w-w-w-want I can help you control it better." She squeed in excitement and he said "It'll just take some work to get it set up. If you meet me here at the park in three days I can probably set it up, but over the next two days I'm going back to exploring the park's forest and I think you should rest even if someone heals your ankle with a quirk." She nodded and then they lapsed into a companionable silence.

Nejire took a nap with her head on Izuku's shoulder while he wrote everything he knew about her quirk in his notebook and drew a picture of her. He also noted her personality and everything else about her he could see from his time with her. Eventually Nejire's mother arrived and cooed at the sight of her daughter sleeping on the young man's shoulder. Nejire's mother Natsume Hado asked "Are you Izukun?" He nodded and she bowed her head saying "Thank you for helping out my little Nejire Chan." Izuku waved it off with his free arm and mouthed it was nothing. She laughed and said "I can see why Nejire likes you as a friend, you're awfully humble for a boy who just saved my daughter from being trapped in the woods because she sprained her ankle. I see you even wrapped it."

Izuku blushed and said "I tend to read medical texts and I just know what to do with a sprained limb, like not moving it. I couldn't leave her alone when she called for help, especially because I want to be a hero like All Might who saves people with a smile on his face." She laughed softly then walked over and shook her daughter awake.

Nejire hummed and said "I don't wanna move Izukun." Izuku blushed at that and she continued "You're shoulders really soft and flabby making it a comfortable pillow." Izuku winced and mumbled about working out more. She giggled almost as if she heard his mumbles and said softly "I bet you'll be really buff once you start working out. You still have eight years before you get into UA so you need lots of power to do so. Even if you change your mind you'll always be my hero." Izuku's cheeks turned flaming red and he looked like a tomato as Nejire nuzzled his cheek saying "So warm..." Izuku blushed more and gently stroked her hair. Her mother laugh and gently picked up Nejire.

Nejire grumbled and said "Where'd my pillow go?" Her mother laughed and turned to Izuku then smiled. He looked at her questioningly and she just smiled as if thinking about something amusing.

After a few minutes of Nejire mumbling in her sleep, Natsume said "Thank you so much Izukun. We recently moved near the park and it's been hard on Nejire. Honestly I can't wait to see how you two grow up and if you ever feel my daughter is worthy of you, you should ask her out." Izuku blushed and hid behind his notebook making Natsume laugh. She continued "I wish you luck with your goal to be a hero and if Nejire wants when she's healed you two can spend time together here at the park or you can come over our house. My husband Ataru would probably love to meet the young man who saved our daughter then stayed with her until I could pick her up."

Izuku blushed and said "I just did what anyone would do." Natsume shook her head slightly and he said "Fine I just did what anyone should have done and what a hero would have done, without getting the police involved of course." Natsume smiled at that glad he was at least accepting that not everyone was as kind and honest as he was. He sighed and said "I should probably get home or my mom's going to be worried since I forgot all about calling her when we got out of the woods despite how late in the day it was." He glanced up at the sky which was turning purple then tore a page out of his notebook and wrote his number on it saying "Uuuuum, Mrs. Hado? Could you give this to Nejire chan when she has her new phone? I really don't want to lose a friend and it may happen if we can never talk."

Natsume took the paper and folded it up then put it in her pocket before saying "I'll be sure Nejire holds onto your number because you are a catch that she shouldn't let pass her by, even if she is only twelve." Izuku blushed at that and stuttered so incoherently the older woman couldn't understand him. She giggled and said "Izukun it's fine. I'm just teasing a little bit though I really don't think I'd have a problem with you and my princess dating each other when you're both older. For now though I think it would be best if you two just remained friends and encourage and support each other. That is what my little Nejire really needs."

Izuku nodded and said "I'll never betray Nejire chan. I want to see her become the hero she wants to be and I promised to help her work on controlling her quirk and building it up for the UA entrance exams in six years." Natsume smiled at how earnest and kind the young man was then looked down at her daughter and thought "I know how much you've been struggling my little fairy but I bet this young man could make your dreams come true and I can see him being a lifelong friend if nothing else. I hope you don't push him away with your curiosity like so many others but I don't think you can scare him away. Although he's a little timid he already values your friendship even if you two just talked for a few minutes before you fell asleep. I love you my little Nejire, but I sometimes think you can be a bit much for most people, so I'm glad Izukun is so accepting of you and just wants to see you smile. Maybe he will make a good boyfriend."

Izuku didn't know what was going through the older Hado's mind, but he honestly wasn't worried about it because he thought she was just checking on her daughter. Natsume said "We'll be off Izukun. I would walk you home but I think I need to take Nejire to the hospital and get her ankle looked at. Will you be alright on your own?" He nodded with a worried look at Nejire and she laughed saying "I can tell already that it isn't broken or anything from how you have it wrapped, but Nejire needs it looked after or my little bundle of energy and waves will probably be hurt worse from not staying off it. Again thank you Izukun for carrying my baby here even though she's bigger than you and you aren't the strongest going by your build. If you ever need anything from the Hado family, once Nejire gives you her number, you can definitely count on us." Izuku nodded in thanks then got up and the two went their separate ways.

********************************Two Hours Later*************************************

Izuku walked into his apartment where his mother was waiting for him with worry in her eyes in their kitchen. She stood up and yelled out "IZUKU MIDORIYA WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? I KNOW IT TAKES AN HOURS TO GET FROM THE CENTER OF THE PARK TO THE HOUSE BUT YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN HOME BEFORE DARK!" Izuku winced and tried to reply but Inko was having none of it. She glared and said "Young man I want the whole story of your day in the next five minutes or you're not getting katsudon for a long time, nor will you be getting any new All Might Merchandise either. Do you understand me?"

Izuku nodded then said "Well my day started with me going to the park like I told you, then I went into the forest to explore. I fell asleep because the forest atmosphere was so relaxing then I accidentally went further into the forest mom, and found a girl who'd sprained her ankle. I carried her out of the forest and to a park bench then had her call her mom. She fell asleep on my shoulder then we sat there till I could talk to her mom. Then Nejire chan, that's the girl's name, was taken to the doctor's and I headed right home. I kinda got side tracked watching a hero fight on my way home. I'm sorry mom, I didn't mean to worry you. I understand if you don't want me to do that again but I have to help people."

Izuku's mother burst into tears at that and she started to hug her son just happy he was alright. She was proud of him for helping out this Nejire Chan but she couldn't help but worry about her baby boy. It was bad enough he was quirkless in a world where quirks mattered more than skill, but he also wanted to be a hero which would be incredibly dangerous and she didn't think she could take it if anything happened to him. She said "I h-h-hope you don't make a habit of this Izuku."

He chuckled nervously and said "Sorry mom but I can't promise I won't help people who are in trouble. You know my dream." She whimpered at that but nodded. He hugged her and said "I love you mom." She smiled and hugged him back her eyes drying up. She ruffled his fluffy hair and told him to wash up while she prepared dinner. He nodded and said "Alright mom," then walked to the bathroom and took a short bath while he waited for his mother to call him back for dinner.

Inko called Izuku to dinner about fifteen minutes later after cooking some stir fry. The two sat down and ate, while Izuku regaled his mom about his new friend. She smiled as she listened then he said "I'm thinking about getting in shape,, you should too mom." She winced at that and he continued "I'm also going to start walking around te neighborhood and learn about local heroes. I have until College for UA so I think I'll spend the next eight years learning all I can then prove to the world a quirkless hero can be a real hero." That made her gasp and get up then hug him saying how proud she was of her little man. He smiled and said "Mom do you think I can be a hero?"

She nodded and said "You'll have a tough time, tougher than anyone with a quirk. It'll be hard for you to prove you can protect people,and people will belittle you, blame you for every injury and death. However; I know you're strong enough to take all of that and more. I know that as long as you can save one person, you'll always be able to smile. Honestly, I think you'll make the best hero the world's ever seen quirkless or not. I love you Izuku and I'm sorry I couldn't reassure you about your dream sooner." Izuku gasped and stared at his mother with tears in his eyes.

He smiled and said "Thank you mom. Those are the words I've needed to hear for so long. I'm so happy you believe in me, and now, now I can finally go forward with my dream without fear." Inko smiled teary eyed and he hugged her tight then they went back to eating before Izuku said "I'm going to explore the woods again tomorrow and probably again next weekend. I'll try to be home before dark, so I want you to wake me up early in the morning so I have all day to explore. Is that alright?" Inko nodded and the two got up to brush their teeth and let Izuku go to bed while Inko sat on the couch to watch TV.

Izuku crawled into bed and fell asleep as his mother watched the nightly news. He dreamed about a future as a hero, a champion, and more. As he dreamed the forest shifted and stirred in a strong wind that seemed to originate from deep within. Sadly no one noticed the forest shifting as too many were wrapped up in their own lives.

The night passed in comfort for our hero, but deep within the woods a path had opened to the center of the forest. Know one had ever tread upon this path as it had been hidden but something about our hero had awakened it. What that was, only those who had gone before knew and only Izuku would learn.

************************************The Next Day***********************************\

Izuku had packed a bag this time, for his adventure into the woods. In it he had matches, a pocket knife, purification tablets for water, a pot, water bottles, a packet of ramen noodles, and a few action figures he never liked leaving without as well as a sleeping bag in case he got lost. He knew he told his mom he didn't plan on staying to far after dark but he had to be prepared and his mother was thankful he was willing to take everything she told him to. He smiled at her as he stood at the door, backpack in hand, red boots on feet, t shirt with the word t shirt on him, under an All Might zip up hoodie, and All Might brand gym shorts. The t shirt was supposed to be ironic as Izuku had developed a taste for irony after how his life had played out up to this point.

He kissed his mom on the cheek and said "See you around dark mom. I know it's six a.m, but I don't want to miss a single second of exploration." She nodded smiling slightly and stroked his fluffy hair then sent him off wishing he was at least a little older but knowing he could take care of himself unless it involved fighting.

Izuku walked to the park listening to music from his phone through All Might brand headphones, and singing along. He liked music from the pre-quirk era. He was currently listening to superman by Three Doors Down and singling along rather in tune. He sang out "If I go crazy will you still call me superman," then stopped realizing others could hear him and blushed singing much more quietly.

A few people found it adorable not knowing much about the boy other than that his mother was a hard worker and he tried to stay out of trouble. He finally made it to the park about an hour and a half of walking later then headed into the forest from the closes side of the park to him which was the west side, though last night it had been the south side he'd entered and left from because that was next to the playground. Izuku took his headphones off and turned off his music to conserve battery life then stretched and said "Man pre-quirk music is awesome." He smiled and pulled out a bottle of water sipping it then slipped further into the forest and started walking due east to get to the center of the park faster.

He kept his eyes focused on both everything ahead of him and the ground so he didn't make the same mistake as Nejire had the day before leading to him having to save her. He stepped around a few burrows, some badger dens, and even a fox's den where the little critter was just waking up. He waved at it and said "Hey little guy." It walked up to him cautiously and sniffed him then yipped and jumped back. He laughed softly and said "You're awfully cute." It rubbed against his legs like a dog or cat making him laugh more and scratch it behind the ears then he said "Have fun hunting kitsune san, I need to keep going further into the forest." The fox whined as if not wanting the boy to leave then sighed and trotted off to catch mice, voles, or rabbits, whichever it could find.

Izuku smiled and said "I wonder why animals all like to hang out with me? Ah well not important, what is important is getting to the center of the forest." His confidence had been picked up after being beaten down for six years by Nejire chan and his mother believing in him, and the words of Mrs. Hado. He stretched as he walked opening his hoodie all the way to cool down then suddenly found a path leading deeper into the forest. He knew had been walking for about an hour, according to his phone, so he was surprised he hadn't seen this path before. It was also weird that the path just started up in the middle of the forest floor seeming to be made of cobblestone, but didn't have a set pattern almost like the stone was from all sorts of different areas. He blinked and shouted "SO COOL!"

He followed the path another hour and a half, the sun standing at the half past ten position. He'd left at six thirty so the four hours of travel meant that the sun was at the ten thirty mark, at least he thought so until he checked his phone and confirmed it. He drank more water and made himself some lunch on the path using a small fire pit he made out of stones, his pot, a water bottle's worth of water, and his matches. He ate quickly wanting to get back to exploring as fast as possible, and ended up burning his tongue. He whimpered and thought "Mom was right always wait for noodles to cool down before digging in or you'll burn your tongue. Ow this hurts, maybe some cold water will cool it down." Izuku drank a cold bottle of water cooling off his tongue then eating slowly after letting it cool a while longer before putting out the fire with the left over broth from the pot. He waited for the pot to cool down then shoved it back in his bag and started walking along again.

He followed the path another half hour meaning it was now eleven and found the end of the path which led to a large clearing surrounded by tall trees that didn't look native to Japan. He hummed and said "These seem to be more western trees... wonder why?" He pushed through the woods and passed through a few bushes into a large open clearing. He looked around the clearing and saw that it was a perfect circle. He hummed softly and said "I think someone planted these trees like this. That's so cool. I can't wait to meet the one who did so. I hope they'll teach me something about all this." He noticed there was a path surrounded by flowers leading to each of the four cardinal directions of the circle, his own feet standing on the western path the flowers surrounding him. He smiled and walked forward a good ten minutes then found himself before an arch. This arch was huge, it was at least fifty feet tall and ten feet wide.

He smiled and said "Man this is so cool. I wonder what the arch is for though?" He noticed it looked like the arch had two doors with gems set into them and placed his hand on the gems then the doors ponderously swung open. He gasped and entered the arch, not realizing the doors were swinging shut behind him. As the doors shut the last thing heard from Izuku Midoriya that morning was "SO COOL!"

I know you're probably going to say Izuku was OOC or of out of character in some ways, and yes he was but that was because he was trying to be a hero and he hadn't suffered quite as much abuse by Bakugo yet. It's only been six years instead of ten and that can lead to a world of difference.
