A/N: Well, I suppose this is isn't supposed to be more than a rewrite of the legends movie with elements of mk2, Umk3 mk9 and battle of the realms.

Shang Tsung went flying across the throne room from a punch from his master, Shao Kahn, causing him to cough blood.
"YOU HAVE FAILED ME!" Shao Kahn Yelled with pure rage.
"I-I'm sorry master! I-It was that old fool Raiden! He-" Shang Tsung began only to be cut off by Shao Kahn.
"SILENCE!" Shao Kahn yelled, before motioning towards Kitana, Jade and Skarlet, to execute Shang Tsung. "Kill him!"
"W-wait! What if the rules were changed!" Shang Tsung shouted, Fear and Desperation evident in his voice.
"Go on, sorcerer." Shao Kahn Said, Holding up a hand to tell Kitana, Jade and Skarlet to stop.
"We can gain home field advantage and Challenge Earthrealm to another tournament, in which if we win, we can invade Earthrealm, if they win, They will be left alone from Outworld! And if they do not accept we will invade Earthrealm anyway." Shang Tsung explained.
"Not a bad idea, Sorcerer. However if we fail to conquer Earthrealm, YOU and only you will be to blame! Now, gather our forces, it's time to end this game, once and for all!" Shao Kahn proclaimed as he stood up to walk to Shang Tsung, his eyes glowing a dangerous green.
Scorpion Woke up panting.
He looked around himself, realizing that he was in the Netherrealm.
'I must have died in Earthrealm!' He thought, remembering how he killed Quan Chi.
"Ah.. Good you've arrived!' A voice said behind him. Scorpion turned around to see a man, with a few demons near him.
" Who are you?" Scorpion asked.
"I am Shinnok, you will retrieve the last Kamidogu for me so I can escape from this realm and rain my wrath in my 'Brothers' and 'sisters' ." Shinnok commanded.
"Or?" Scorpion asked, narrowing his eyes.
"'Or I will fillet you until you perish, and then bring you back to do it again. You cannot escape me." Shinnok threatened with a smug look on his face.
"I can try." Scorpion said, just before grabbing his swords and cutting off the heads of two of Shinnok's demon demon guards, then sprinting towards a nearby portal.
'Hopefully this leads back to Earthrealm.' Scorpion thought.
When Scorpion arrived to where the portal was supposed to lead to, he arrived on a boat, with Liu Kang, Raiden, Sonya blade, Johnny Cage and Jax on it.
"Scorpion, We thought you were Killed when the island came down." Raiden said in a surprised tone.
"I was, at least for some time." Scorpion explained.
"Well don't worry," Raiden put a reassuring hand on his shoulder, "It won't happen again any time soon. We shall be reaching the shores of the Wuxi monastery, it should not be very long before we get there."
Later, they arrived at the Wuxi monastery where Kung Lao, Nightwolf, and Kenshi were waiting for them to return from the tournament.
After a few minutes of everyone catching up and getting to know eachother, Nightwolf decided that he needed to help Jax in his current situation.
"'Jackson Briggs, i will need to heal your injuries. Though, I'm afraid that you will now need to have mechanical arms." Nightwolf stated with a sad tone.
"Alright, Nightwolf. Which way do we go?" Jax asked as he stood up.
"Into that room on the right" Nightwolf replied, pointing to the room.
The two then walked to it.
"So.. Do we party or celebate now?" Johnny Cage asked standing up with a smile and pitting on his shades
"I can't. After everything that has recently happened, I killed an innocent man. Also I need sleep." Said Scorpion with regret for killing Sub Zero, before walking off.
"Wait, is he talking about that Blue ninja he was fighting earlier?" Sonya asked.
"Yes, Sonya Blade. His name was Sub-Zero. He was a member of the Lin Kuei clan from China. A clan of assassins and warriors, most of whom, but not limited to, Cryogenic abilities and power's they were a rival of Scorpion's Clan the Shirai Ryu, before Quan Chi, disguised as Sub-Zero, massacred them."' Raiden explained.
"So, Scorpions clans was eradicated by Quan chi who framed Sub-Zero?" Liu Kang asked further.
"Yes." Raiden answered.
Kuai Liang, More commonly known as Tundra, walked into the Lin Kuei palace. He had just received word from one of The few surving Lin Kuei members that survived the tournement, that his brother Bi-Han, had been killed in the tournament. Along with Dozens of other Lin Kuei warriors and Assassin's.
'Whoever Is responsible for Bi-Han's death, will die.' He thought vengefully.
"Tundra!" Smoke said walking up to him. "The Grandmaster wants to se us."
"Ok, Smoke." Tundra replied ,walking with Smoke to the Grandmaster's quarters.
Upon reaching it, They bowed to the Grandmaster before sitting down.
"Hello Tundra, Smoke. I am sorry to interrupt your training but, we have an new Mission." Informed the Grandmaster.
"We live to serve, Grandmaster." Both Smoke and Tundra proclaimed simultaneously.
"I have seen what has happened in the last Mortal Kombat tournament in which we were to secretly assassinate Shang Tsung, but our efforts were extremely unsuccessful and many Lin Kuei members sent there ended up being killed by someone named Scorpion." The Grandmaster said.
'Scorpion, I will kill him!' Tundra thought angrily.
"In order to make sure that something like this shall never happen again, you will both have to be faster and stronger than you have ever been!"
"We will not fail you, Grandmaster!" Both Smoke and Tundra claimed.
"No you won't. In fact, you can't as I've made sure of it. The Lin Kuei have been experimenting on something new for sometime, and the results have been more than what we could have hoped for! Come forth!" With the Grandmaster's word's, the door behind him slid open and two, Cyborgs walked in, one Red and the other Yellow. Cyrax and Sektor's colors...
"Cyrax, Sektor... what have you done?" Smoke asked with shock and fear.
"What we must." The Grandmaster answered for them."The Mortal body is fragile, weak, and we enhanced it. Technology and skill combined to make the perfect warrior!"
"The perfect monsters!" Tundra exclaimed in both fear and disgust.
"They are the future Tundra, and the future is now! So, which one of you is first?" With the Grandmaster's words the newly Cyberized Cyrax and Sektor began to advance on Tundra and Smoke, green wire-like mechanisms coming out of their hands.
Smoke immediately slammed his fist on the ground, teleporting Him and Tundra away.
"You cannot run, foolish children, Bring them back!" At the Grandmaste's request, Cyrax and Sektor began to chase after Smoke and Tundra.
Near the forest outside of the building, Tundra and Smoke were sprinting as of there were no tomorrow, which if they don't get away there might not be.
"Tundra, there should be a portal to Outworld a mile south!" Smoke shouted over to him.
"Ok Smoke!" Tundra Yelled in response.
Suddenly, Sektor teleported from the Ground punching them both, while Cyrax appeared behind him.
"Resistance will be met with extreme force!" They both shouted, their new robotic voices clear.
"Cyrax, Sektor, this is not you! Snap out of it!" Smoke yelled to unfortunately no avail.
"Those names no longer mean anything to us!" Cyrax yelled back. "I am unit LK-4D4!" He continued.
"As I am now unit LK-9T9!" Sektor joined in.
"We are the Lin Kuei! As Stealthy as the night and as Deadly as the dawn!" They both stated together.
"So be it! This fight will be your last!" Tundra said charging towards the two cyborgs with Smoke in tow.
Tundra sent a punch towards Cyrax. He easily blocked it and his chest opened up, revealing a bomb which went rolling towards Tundra who froze it immediately. It exploded sending both back flying a few feet, Tundra hit a tree, while Cyrax was sent flying into the snow.
They both quickly recovered, and Cyrax sent a small green net towards Tundra, and it caught his feet.
Tundra quickly formed a small dagger of ice and cut himself free with it before Cyrax can reach him and then, rammed the dagger into his side, he next sent an ice ball towards Cyrax. Freezing him for the time being.
Meanwhile with Smoke and Sektor, Sektor sent three missiles towards Smoke, he dodged two of them, and then parried the third, Teleporting over Sektor and Landing on him.
Smoke next kicked Sektor away and sent a smoke bomb towards Sektor, teleporting him near the frozen Cyrax and was then also frozen.
"Tundra, I should be able to now teleport us close enough to the portal." Smoke said panting a little.
After teleporting near the portal they stopped to rest for a moment taking in the events of the past few days.
After a few minutes they entered the portal and Crossed into Outworld.
After realizing that it was night in Outworld the two stopped to make a fire.
"So Tundra do you still wish to Take up Bi-Han's identity? It will attract lot's attention, not all of it welcome." Smoke asked him.
"Yes Smoke Assuming Bi-Han's identity is the best way to honor him." Tundra replied.
"Alright. Let us proceed then, Sub-Zero." Smoke said, calling him by his new name.
" Alright Smoke." Sub-Zero replied.
Back in Earthrealm in the Wuxi monastery, almost everyone was asleep, except for Raiden who was near one of the bell towers.
Soon enough Raiden felt a presence near him, he turned to see it was Shang Tsung.
"Hello Raiden!" Shang Tsung greeted with a sickening smile. "The emperor has an offer. A new tournament."
"I see no reason to participate in any plan of yours." Raiden replied.
"The Emperor proposes a single tournament, to replace the current system of ten. It will be held in Outworld. If Earthrealm does not win, Shao Kahn will absorb it into Outworld. But if Earthrealm wins, Shao Kahn will abandon his claim to it forever." Shang Tsung explained.
"Send your emperor my regards, Shang Tsung." Raiden bitterly replied.
At Raiden's response, Shang Tsung began to use his Sorcery to Create a Huge portal from Outworld to Earthrealm, more Specifically in New York City. The spell was loud enough to wake up everyone in the temple. After this Shang Tsung created a portal small enough for him to flee through.
Everyone began to Approach "Lord Raiden, what's going on?" Kung Lao asked.
"Shao Kahn and Outworld are invading Earthrealm!" Raiden said frantically.
"But we won the previous tournament, didn't we!?" Liu Kang asked.
"We did, but Shang Tsung was here just earlier, saying that a new Tournament replacing the current system of ten must happen. It is supposed to be held in Outworld. If Outworld wins, Earthrealm will be absorbed. If Earthrealm wins however, Shao Kahn will abandon his claim to it, forever." Raiden explained. "Now we must go to America, as Shao Kahn and outworld will be invading there."
Everyone gathered around Raiden as he teleported them to New York.
In the City, two men with SWAT and Riot equipment, were standing on top of the roof of a bank surveying the invasion, and the absolute destruction and carnage just below them, and around them.
"I spot Sixteen, Seventeen, Eighteen. I count Eighteen bogeys, Kabal, call it in" Officer Kurtis Stryker said to his friend and fellow Riot policeman, Kabal.
"Alright Stryker. Base, Eagle two, We count Eighteen bogeys South bend on Olympic Street." Kabal said into his walkie talkie.
"Ok, Eagle two we're sending immediate reinforcements your way." The base operator replied to him before cutting the line.
Soon after that the massive Orange portal in the sky, making it red, began to spew out dragons, Who began to breathe fire onto the skyscrapers, further wrecking the City and endangering even more innocent lives than before.
"This is so not happening." Stryker mumbled in shock at the annihilation happening before him.
"Agreed. I mean, Wow, this shit is so not what I was at all thinking when I swore to protect and serve." Stated Kabal in awe,
"Wait, what the hell is that?" Stryker asked in confusion and surprise as green, reptilian like man began to climb the walls of the building.
"I'm thinking shoot first and ask questions later." Kabal stated, "Fine with me." Kabal and Stryker pulled out their temporary SMG's and began to fire at the unknown person or thing but, he dodged their bullets easily and leapt to the top of the building to confront the two Police officers.
"Pistols!" Stryker commanded as they had both ran out of ammo I their respective SMG. They began to fire at the man, but he began to spit out an acid like substance that completely blocked their bullets. He next used his extremely long Tongue to send Kabal to the ground, unconscious and to take Stryker's gun.
Stryker looked at him in annoyance. "Enough of this! Its you and me freakshow!" He shouted before rushing to the creature with one of his batons in hand.
"HA! I'm the freak? Your the one using strange weapons and.. Your race is the reason I am likely an endling, Human!" Reptile said, A little darkly towards the end.
Stryker had no idea what he was talking about so he didn't reply and simply attacked.
He tried hitting with his batons but Reptile easily blocked it and kicked Stryker a few feet away.
Stryker got up immediately and pulled out a stun gun and fired it at Reptile, it hit and he was stunned for a brief moment.
Stryker used this opportunity to attack. He punched and kicked Reptile repeatedly eventually he was on the ground.
Reptile recovered and sent an acid ball towards Stryker, which he barely dodged.
Stryker picked up his gun and fired it again at Reptile, he wasn't ready for it this time and took three bullets before seemingly vanishing.
'Where'd he go?' Stryker thought before suddenly being punched twice from behind and kicked, and nearly off the rootop, but he managed to grab onto a ledge and pull himself back up.
Reptile charged Stryker, only to be met with a sudden blinding light.
"Spread 'em!" Stryker had used his flashlight to temporarily blind Reptile , then sent baton to Reptiles face cracking his jaw, he next activated his teaser on him and watched as Reptile fell to the ground, unconscious. "Busted!"
"Spitting? Sticking out your tongue? Going invinsible? Bet your mama's real proud!" Stryker quipped.
For a moment Stryker stopped to catch his breath, but knew Kabal needed to be helped so he rushed to help him up.
"C'mon Kabal. We're going street level, we have been compromised." Stryker said
"But isn't anywhere near safe down there." Kabal pointed out the obvious in fear.
"Better there than here."
Kabal reluctantly followed Stryker.
As the two walked through the bank, they spotted even more soldiers and Warriors coming through the portal.
"What the hell is actually going on?" Kabal asked before spotting three female, seemingly human ninjas along with a male ninja in red, a weird 4 Tiger like armed creature and a humanoid with two blades in his arms similar to the other foot soldiers, stepping out of the portal, with the 4 armed warrior causing great damage to the surrounding area.
Before the two officers went to confront them, Kabal asked "Woah, Stryker check out those girls over there. Do you think they are friendor foe?"
The other officer looked at him as if he had grown ten heads, had he not seen what they just steeped out of? "Dressed they way they are? They look like they are from hundreds of years ago! Plus their clothing is consistent with all of the people we saw earlier. Definitely foe." He pointed out, before the pair walked out of the first floor of the bank to confront the five newcomers.
"Hey! What are you all doing out here?" Stryker greeted.
"We are here to Claim Earthrealm in the name of my father, Emperor of Outworld, Shao Kahn. Surrender immediately and your lives along with everyone else will be spared." Kitana stated.
"No idea why you're referring Earth as 'Earthrealm', but what ever you are attempting to do here, it's ending right here. All of you are under arrest!" Stryker stated before he and Kabal pulled out their pistols and aimed it at the five.
"Ha! What do you think those will do to us, Weak Human?" Baraka mocked as he pulled out his blades, just before getting shot 3 times by Kabal causing him to double over in pain.
Kintaro then stepped forward and easily tanked the incoming shots from the officers, and when they stopped firing to reload, he shot fire at the officers. Stryker managed to get out of the way, but Kabal however wasn't as lucky as him. He was burned to the third degree by Kintaro.
"Kabal no!" Stryker shouted while sprinting to The badly burned Kabal, fear clearly in his voice.
"The offer still stands. Surrender Earthrealm and nobody has to suffer any further." Kitana informed, watching the entire ordeal with Jade, Ermac, and Skarlet behind her. 'Why must father make us, especially me his daughter, do this? This is likely how Edina suffered.' She thought with some sympathy and sadness.
Kintaro on the other hand was not having any signs of remorse whatsoever. He began to charge up yet another fireball to burn the remaining officer, only to stop, noticing how the sky began to darken from its already unnatural red, to dark grey as if a storm was happening.
"Suddenly, lightning fell from the clouds next to the two officers. Everyone in Outworld began to back away in fear at that.
The lightning cleared to reveal Raiden, and the rest of Earthrealm's warriors.
"Lord Raiden, and the chosen one!" Kintaro shouted in fear.
"Wait a second.. Didn't I kill you?" Johnny Cage asked in confusion at seeing Baraka.
"No. You killed a Member of my race. The Tarkatans." Baraka responded only to get hit on the shoulder by Skarlet, painfully. "Stop chatting with the enemy when it won't go anywhere!" Skarlet whispered angrily.
Raiden looked down at Kabal, and sent lightning to heal him, stopping the fire from making the burns worse, however it was clear Kabal had scars.
This surprised Stryker.
"Everyone, attack!" Kitana ordered, having enough and wanting to end the mission immediately.
Kintaro immediately started to yet again charge up another fireball, but was stopped as Raiden flew into him, using his electric fly technique.
After getting up, Kintaro jumped into the air to stomp on Raiden But was sent flying into the waterfront below from a lighting blast from Raiden, taking him out of the fight.
Liu Kang and Kung Lao both confronted Kitana together.
"'Still on the wrong side?" Liu Kang asked.
"It's not like I have much of a choice." Kitana Replied bitterly.
"And if you did?" Kung Lao mocked joining in.
Kitana scowled at them from behind her mask, and wielded her War fans.
She threw one towards Kung Lao who teleported out of the way and behind Kitana, and managed to land in a couple hits, but Kitana used her fans to create a small tornado, trapping him in it.
However, she let her guard down briefly, allowing Liu Kang to Bicycle kick her multiple times until she realized she couldn't win.
"Everyone, We must flee!'" Kitana shouted while running towards the portal with the rest of Outworld's warriors, however the dragons wrecking the city were still there, flames burning the once beautiful buildings of the city.
"Is there anyway to stop them?"' Jax asked with concern.
"I fear that we must accept the tournament for this to stop." Raiden said.
"A tournament? Like a.. what, Karate tournament?" Stryker asked walking up to him.
"It's a whole thing, I'll explain later." Johnny Cage answered for Raiden.
"Elder gods, I accept the challenge of Shao Kahn!" Raiden exclaimed to the Elder gods. They granted it and said the tournament will be held in a week.
