December 18, 2038, Audrey and Peyton's Townhome, Los Angeles, California

The morning after arriving home, Audrey woke up hearing the front door being knocked on. She groaned as she sat up, got out of bed, grabbed her robe and sighed deeply as she walked to the front door.

"Who is it?"

Cody smiled. "It's me, Auds."

Audrey groaned as she rolled her eyes. She saw Peyton walk out of their bedroom and look at her confused on who was at their place at 7:00AM.

She layed her head back and groaned. "My Dad."

Peyton groaned, rolling his eyes. "What the fuck? We just got home last night. I'm so fucking jet legged..."

Audrey opened the door and was pulled into a hug by her father. "Welcome back!"

Audrey sighed. "Hey, Dad..." She let him in. "What are you doing here at 7:00 in the morning? And, when the hell did you get on a flight here?!" She was clearly upset with her father.

Cody could sense she was upset. "What's wrong with me seeing my own daughter?"

Audrey layed her head back, groaning as she closed her eyes and ran her hand over her face. She looked at him. "Dad..." She took a deep breath. "I was...I was going to be nice about your behavior..."

Cody was confused. "My behavior? What's wrong with my behavior, Audrey? I can't visit my daughter?"

Audrey took a deep breath. "Dad, I can't do this!"

Cody was more confused. "Audrey, what are you freaking out about?"

Audrey groaned as she rolled her eyes. "Dad, you can't just come here without telling me or Peyton. I can't have you babysit me anymore!"

Cody sighed. "I just want to see you. I can't have you alone..."

Audrey cut him off, groaning. "Dad! Please! Listen to me for once..."

Cody smiled. "Do you want me to move here?"

Audrey shook her head, now she was completely angry, so mad that Peyton could feel her steam up her whole body. "No! No, no! I...I can't have you move here!"

Cody frowned. "Why not? I miss you."

Audrey ran her hands through her hair. "Why not?! Oh my God! I have my fucking reasons why you shouldn't move here!"

Cody was shocked. "Audrey, don't yell at me...You don't yell at your father!"

Audrey shook her head. "Ugh! I'm a grown ass woman, Dad! I'm fucking married! I have my own life! I can't have you right on top of me, treating me like I'm your little girl forever!" She was so angry that she teared up.

Cody sighed. "Audrey, why are you freaking out?"

Audrey placed her hands on the counter, taking a deep breath. "I'm freaking the hell out because you can't get that I'm a grown up, I'm a married woman! I don't need you right on top of me ALL THE TIME!" She glared at him. "I didn't want to tell you this before because God damn it, I haven't told Peyton yet, but..."

Cody's eyes went wide. "You're pregnant?!"

Audrey layed her head back, wiping her cheeks and face. "No! I'm NOT FUCKING PREGNANT!" She felt tears falling again, her eyes began getting blurry. "...I wish that was actually happening, but...It's not!" She began sobbing.

"You've been here all the time lately...and it's been taking a toll on me, emotionally and physically! I can't even do fucking well in law school anymore because of YOU!" She slid down the counter and began sobbing loudly.
"...I did so bad that my teachers said, 'You are so close to failing everything'..." She saw Cody walk up to her, she shook her head. "...I NEVER failed EVER! And, now, Dad, I'm on the fucking urge of doing exactly that!"

Cody just looked at her. "Why didn't you tell me?"

Audrey glared at him. "Because, Dad, you can't handle the word 'fail'..." She sniffed loudly. "I couldn't study because you were always on top of me! God damn it, Dad! I hope you're happy! I spent so much into law school and now it's going down the fucking drain because...because of YOU and your controlling phase of,'I need to be there every time Peyton's working because my baby is alone and scared'!" She stood up and sighed.

Cody just was taken back from what his daughter just said. "Auds..."

Audrey shook her head. "Let me tell you something, Dad, I love being home alone for a few hours so I can fucking study, but I couldn't with you! I did terribly in my first year as well!" She wiped her eyes. "...I can't do this anymore! I'm not your little girl anymore!"

Cody sighed. "Audrey..." He walked up to her.

Audrey shook her head. "No, don't touch me. I need you to leave. Please!" She said, running into her and Peyton's bedroom, slammed the

door shut and layed on their bed as she sobbed.

Peyton has never been this pissed off at anyone, now he never pictured it would be his father in law. "You don't want to know how pissed and mad I am at you right now, Cody..."

"Mad at me? I'm just seeing my daughter...What's your reasoning, Peyton?" Cody questioned.

Peyton groaned as he began yelling at him. "So many reasons now! I was pissed after finding out you kept coming to our place when I was working long hours! But, now, I'm even more pissed off because of you my wife is fucking failing at law school! She needed time to study ALONE but no, you just had to fuck that up, didn't you? She's stressed out even more because she probably can't fix the past year's grades! This is our place! Not yours to come whenever the hell you want! I'm so pissed off at you so bad right now! I cared about my wife's wellbeing and her studies and wanting to do fucking well in school...BUT NOW I'M HEARING ABOUT THIS BULLSHIT AND I'M NOT FUCKING HAPPY ABOUT IT!"

Cody glared at him. "I can't believe you right now! You're stopping me from seeing my daughter. That's too bad."

Peyton shook his head. "Is that what you think? Are you fucking kidding me?! You could've waited until she had breaks! She does get Thanksgiving, Christmas and spring and summer break off! That would've been PERFECT! BUT, no, YOU had to ruin her reputation in school! God knows if they'd let her continue or she'd have to fucking start over! You obviously don't care about Audrey, but God damn it, I do!"

Audrey walked out of their bedroom and had washed her face. She just didn't look at her father. She grabbed her coffee mug and began making coffee.

Peyton just walked over to his wife and whispered to her. "Are you okay, babe?"

Audrey shook her head. "No...I have to bring up my grades and redo everything and if I don't do that by January...Well, $41,726.000 goes down the fucking drain!"

Peyton nodded. "Yeah. But I know you can do it."

Audrey sniffed. "How? Peyton, we're talking another $41,726.000, if I actually can restart the first year and four months of my second year..."

Peyton nodded. "Babe..."

She shook her head. "I...I can't do it...No...I'm not letting you sink another $41,726.000 into something I'm obviously bad at!"

Peyton sighed. "Babe, why don't you just relax today? Don't think about school right now. Just relax in our bed and you can worry about school in January..."

Audrey nodded. "Okay."

Peyton turned to Cody. "You can leave. I think I've said enough to you that won't make me even more pissed."

Audrey made her coffee, she began walking towards their bedroom. "Fuck! Fucking bullshit! Fuck!" She yelled as she shut the bedroom door.

Peyton glared at Cody. "See look at what you made her do! She's fucking pissed at you!"

Cody turned to Peyton. "You'll never love my daughter the way I do...She's my daughter! She's been your wife for two weeks. What do you know?"

Peyton's eyes went wide. "I've been with her for 9 fucking years! I literally paid for her to go to college for the last two years and her law school eduation! Don't tell me that I won't love her more than you because I do, Cody! She may be your daughter, but she's MY WIFE! You cost her a year and four months of her law school! Are you paying for it?! No? I am! You're just pissed because she moved out here for school. Please, I'm sure your wife won't be happy about you costing Audrey's chance to be a fucking lawyer! Cody, you obviously didn't see her stressed out when you were here!"

Peyton and Audrey's bedroom

Audrey picked up her phone and called her mother. "Mom?"

Bailey picked up the phone. "Auds, honey, what's wrong? I can tell something is bothering you."

Audrey began crying. "Mom, Dad is here and...He won't leave and...He fucking cost me my law school education! I...I'm laterally failing every class! I lied to you because...I...I didn't want to disappoint you...but Dad...is doing this shit and I can't do it anymore!"

Bailey's eyes widened. She was right now. "Oh my God. Wait till I see him, I'll make sure he goes to therapy or else I'll leave him. I'm so sick of his controlling attitude with all you girls."

Audrey sighed. "O...Okay. Bye, Mom." She hung up and groaned. She then realized something.

Her eyes went wide. "No...No...This can't be happening as well! Fuck..." "She ran into the living room and looked at their calendar. "Oh, fuck..."

Peyton looked at her. "Hey, hey, Auds, are you alright?"

Audrey shook her head. "No..." She ran her hands through her hair. "I...I got my birth control shot the day before we left for Jamaica..."

Peyton nodded. "Do you think you could be pregnant?"

Audrey sighed. "I don't know! I...I don't...I..." She slid down the wall. "...We never used protection and well, my birth control shot was literally worthless!"

Cody's eyes went wide. "You never used protection? Why not?"

Audrey glared at him. "Oh my fucking God! What does it have to do with you?! I'm fucking married! Not seventeen!"

Cody crossed his arms. "I'm your father, I'm sure I have a say in this. You could've waited..."

Audrey got up. "Okay! I'm done! Get the fuck out, please!" She walked over to him and pushed him out of the house, shutting the door and locking it. "I'm done. Him getting the middle of our sex life is the last straw for me!"

Peyton let out a sigh of relief. "Oh, thank God you got him out. I was so close to calling security to escort him out."

Audrey nodded as she breathed deeply. "I'm gonna go to the home office and cram study and try to get what I can do before January 15th..."

Peyton nodded as he wrapped his arms around her, kissed her head and let go of her. "I love you. Either you do well or you can't do it, I'll be here for you, okay?"

Audrey smiled and nodded. "Thanks."

Peyton smiled as she headed into their home office and began studying and redoing everything. "This fucking sucks..."

A few hours later, Boston Massachusetts, Cody and Bailey's home

Bailey stood at the front door with her arms crossed. She was extremely pissed.

Cody walked into the house to his very angry Bailey.

Bailey glared at her husband. "Do you know much fucking money Peyton spent to send our daughter to the best law schools in California, Cody?"

Cody's eyes widened. He was shocked. "How did you know?"

Bailey shook her head. "Our daughter called me in tears! Do you think I wouldn't find out? Are you seriously kidding me? You lied to me for months! You ruined our daughters chances of becoming the best lawyer in the country!"

Cody sighed. "Bails. I...I don't want to lose my baby."

Bailey sighed. "You NEVER lost her, Cody! Well, you might have ruined your relationship with both Audrey and Peyton. She told me that she and Peyton are planning to move back after Peyton finishes his residency and apply for a job at Massachusetts General! And, Audrey

was planning on waiting until she finished law school, but thanks to you, they have to wait another fucking 5 years, maybe longer..."

Cody sighed. "But, Bails..."

Bailey shook her head and she was so angry. "But, no, you either go to therapy to get rid of your overprotectiveness problem or else, I'll leave you. I'm serious. You're not the man I've

married! And, I'm getting sick and tired of it!"

Cody's eyes went wide. "Bails..."

Bailey shook her head. "Go to therapy please! If you want to keep our kids together..." She said,

with tears in her eyes. "I'm fucking pissed. I never was so disappointed in you and how you treated our daughter and son in law today. Peyton NEVER EVER treated our daughter like

shit. He wants the best for her and I'm sure he's pissed as hell because he could be losing almost 41,764.000! I know he makes a good amount of money per year, but still! That's a lot!"

Cody sighed. "I don't know."

Bailey crossed her arms. "Cody, I'm fucking serious!"

Cody sighed. "Okay. I'll go."

Bailey nodded. "Okay..."

Meanwhile, Audrey was really trying to get anything done but her mind was just crazy. She was pacing back and forth. "Fuck you, Dad. Just fuck you!" She yelled as she closed her computer. "I can't...Fuck." She began crying.

Peyton heard her crying, he ran into their

home office. "Audrey!" He bent in front of her and wrapped his arms around her. "Baby, what's wrong?"

Audrey began sobbing. "I can't do this! I was...I was able to do it the first time, but...I can't do it with so much to redo and...I...I don't know if I can do it by January 15th! This whole fucking

thing is all my dad's fault! He wasn't paying for it...and he knew that!"

Peyton sighed. "I know. I'm not happy with him right now. I wanted us to be able to move back in 3 or 5 years...but, now we'd have to wait..." He held onto her as she sobbed. "Shhh, Auds..."

Audrey sniffed loudly. "Would you be mad at me if I dropped out?" She said with tears falling down her face.

Peyton shook his head. "Of course not, Audrey. Are you kidding me? You don't have to think I'd be mad at you because I'd be proud of you, baby. You tried your hardest through it, and it's not your fault that you have to redo everything." He saw her not looking at him. "Baby, look at me."

Audrey shook her head. "No..."

He placed his thumb on her chin, lifting her head to look at him. "Baby girl, I'd love you no matter what, okay? You are my wife, Audrey Rose. I'm not letting you think I hate you. Never."

Audrey nodded. "I'll give it one more try..."

Peyton smiled at her, kissing her forehead. "That's my girl. I love you."

Audrey smiled. "I love you too..."

Peyton smiled. "Good." He said, wiping her eyes and cheeks. "You got this. I know you can do it."

Audrey nodded slowly. "Thank you. I love you."

Peyton leaned and kissed her passionately. "Mhmm. So good." He pulled away and smiled at her. "I'll be making breakfast. You try to study some, okay?"

Audrey nodded. "Okay. Pancakes sound so good..."

He grinned. "You got it, beautiful." He walked out of their home office and shut the door to let her study alone. He knew she needed to just have alone time. Only married for 2 weeks and he knew his wife needs her alone time to get work done. She really is amazing.

He was really lucky. He gets to spend the rest of his life with this beautiful woman.
