So maybe a more unconventional crossover. I always wanted to do some superhero twist with Jennifer and Needy. Shazam was a little dark in places so in some ways it kind of fits. This of course will be crazy and ridiculous. In some ways it's my response to Amanda Seyfried saying she won't do any superhero movies; it's a shame but understandable. Let me know what you think!

"HELP!"

That was the last word Anita 'Needy' Lesnicky spoke before falling into the whirlpool beneath the waterfall in Devil's Kettle; sucked up like she was nothing, like a fly in a drain. Everything that led up to this she blamed herself for, she was just trying to help her friend...

She knew Jennifer Check all her life, almost like a sister, both were dorks back in the day but once they hit puberty it was obvious who was blossoming into a queen bee. Jennifer was a babe but still held many of her dorkish ways, she was still into video games and comic books, more so than Needy was. Not everyone knew Jennifer for being into that kind of stuff, she had that valley girl voice and was on the flag team so she got lumped into that crowd.

"You should come with us. Our van is just over here."

Needy knew a creep when she saw one, she told Jennifer to be careful of the indie band that came to their small, nowhere town. It was a school night and Needy really didn't want to sneak out to the local bar but it was Jennifer's 18th birthday and it meant a lot to her to see Low Shoulder this pretty boy band, a bunch of Fallout Boy wannabes with all the teenage angst.

"You really want to go there? I thought you wanted to binge all the Marvel movies again."

"I really want to, even the really old ones like the Roger Corman Fantastic Four but I really like this band...the lead singer is really...," Needy saw her swoon, she was too easily impressed.

"And I got you a present. Just what you wanted."

"We'll open it tomorrow, Needs," Jennifer said, taking her hand in a more friendly manner, "You'll be home by midnight...or my home," she smiled and pushed back Needy's hair like she always would when she needed something.

Needy grimaced, ever since her mom started dating this deadbeat the more she ended up staying at Jennifer's, Jennifer's mom opened up her home to her like she was actually part of the family, she knew that Needy's mom and boyfriend argued, she related to how difficult it was; time and time again she would invite Needy to move in but the teenager refused, maybe she didn't want to be a burden but she could be stubborn about getting help.

Needy didn't dress trashy going to the old Melody Lane bar, she wanted to go for a more punk look despite her round Potter glasses and ponytail saying otherwise, an old black coat, opposite of what Jennifer would be wearing, she put it upon herself to look out for her in case she got hassled by older men, of course there had to be a few pervs lingering; didn't help that Jennifer looked older than the average high school girl and that night she really went all out with the makeup.

"Take care of her, Needy."

"I'll have her back by midnight, Ms Check!"

The bar let teenagers in for the bands but kept an eye on them to make sure they didn't get their hands on any booze. Jennifer was insistent on getting at least a taste of alcohol and see the band before they played, Needy convinced her to hold off on it but agreed to go see the band with her, they were just setting up onstage, she could taste the Axe body spray, it flared her nostrils enough to make her tear up, she almost laughed when she got a look at the eyeliner on these guys including the lead singer, his mascara was beginning to run. This didn't phase Jennifer, she was star struck immediately; all it took was him being able to sing and play guitar nothing more.

"Hi, I'm Jennifer Check."

"Nikolai," said the tall lead, he shook Jennifer's hand delicately.

"You guys like...play your instruments really super good," she said, not being able to reach for a word outside her vocabulary.

He sneered, probably used to how young girls threw themselves at him; Needy watched him closely, bothered by what looked like him disguising his true motives, "Can I ask you something? Don't you guys usually play in cities?"

"Yes but we like to connect with our fans in the shittier little towns too."

Jennifer didn't take this as an insult, "Wow."

"Uh-huh," said Needy.

Jennifer promised to get him something to drink even though she had no fake ID, he didn't really care what she got him.

"How are you going to get drinks?"

"I don't know maybe I'll play 'Hello Titty' with the bartender."

Needy watched her closely while she played Asteroids in back; she was still within earshot of the band, she could hear Nikolai make a comment about Jennifer, saying she may look like she gives it up but was probably just some tease. Needy wanted to go over and say something but everyone crowded around because it was time for them to perform. She stood close to Jennifer, she looked a little off like maybe she took something, Needy thought she could smell something off her breath. The band played, nothing special, they sounded like countless bands.

Needy's friend Chip told her not to go, she didn't have to always listen to Jennifer, do what she wanted to, but she always felt an obligation to. Jennifer might've had her off behavior and could act beyond selfish but she knew she really cared about her; something must've gotten into her because she was really squeezing her hand as the band played some lazy melody they called 'Through the Trees'. Other than the music, Needy was at least glad to see Jennifer happy, even though she wasn't old enough to drink she could at least enjoy her turn to near-adulthood.

When Needy smelled smoke coming from one of the big amps set up on the crude stage all Hell broke loose. Flames spread seemingly out of nowhere and everyone ran for the doors, many unlucky enough to feel the doom of a hundred people trampling of them in search of an exit. Needy went into survival mode when Jennifer just stood there; she took her to the nearest washroom.

"Needy...I'm gonna hurl..."

"What? Jen are you drunk?"

"I had a couple shots...no biggie..."

It was, she was not looking good. Needy got her to climb on the back of the toilet and out the filthy high window, outside there was a dumpster to catch them. Both were coughing up smoke and could hardly stand up when they got to fresh air, not everyone was out yet, no cops or firetrucks yet but there were some confused cab drivers.

Jennifer got on her knees and dry heaved, "Did you inhale smoke?"

"Hold my hair," Jennifer said weakly, Needy pulled her hair back in case she was really about to blow chunks.

"Oh wow so glad we found you guys," it was Nikolai, him and is band were outside and completely unscathed making Needy question everything including the glass of alcohol in Nikolai's hand.

"What's going on?" Needy stood her ground.

"You should come with us. Our van is just over here," Nikolai said, acting like a knight in shining armor.

"I think we'll be fine!"

Nikolai knew he couldn't persuade Needy, she wasn't easy like these other high school girls.

"It's ok Needy, let's go into their cool van."

Jennifer looked up at her, she looked so pitiful; Needy saw their way out, there was a cab still there waiting for his customer to come out.

"No. Our ride is here," Needy took hold of Jennifer, she locked eyes with Nikolai, a look that told him to back the fuck off. Needy helped Jennifer into the backseat, she was going to get in too but one of the band members grabbed her, "What the F!" She was lifted up off the ground, Jennifer had no idea what was going on and simply laughed half awake. Needy threw Jennifer a $10 to get home before she was taken away.

The cab sped off with Jennifer into the night, Nikolai was disappointed to see his bass player brought him the wrong girl but he got over it fast, "She'll do I guess."

Needy struggled, she found out that this guy wasn't exactly bench pressing these days but he had a good grip on her, "What are you doing?! Let me go!"

"We're going for a ride, Jan Brady."

Needy bit down on the bass player's hand, enough to potentially ruin his career, he dropped her and she ran off into the woods. Nikolai was not having a good night and his warped plans were not going well at all. The boys packed into the van and went after her, no time to waste but then again they still had hours before dawn. Needy tripped over everything in front of her, she couldn't believe this was happening to her. 'At least Jennifer is safe', she told herself, of course the part of her brain that had to be difficult retorted with, 'Oh yay! She make a breakthrough in the cure for cancer or something?'

Running water, she was close to the falls, Devil's Kettle wasn't only known as some small nowhere town it also had a beautiful waterfall that ran off down into a hole that led nowhere. Scientists tried putting stuff down into it to see how deep it went but nothing returned, a bottomless pit if there ever was such a thing. The headlights of the van blinded her, Nikolai called out to her but Needy couldn't hear anything over the falls. She ran not knowing where she was going, she ended up running onto some jagged rocks, the perfect place to slip and get herself killed. The van parked, the band members put on flashlights, it took her too long to realize she was standing on the edge of the cliff. Needy Lesnicki screamed and called out to even her tormentors for help. She fell into complete darkness.

Needy coughed up what water she could, the ground beneath her was a hard stone and not the shoreline she thought she might have washed up on; her clothes didn't even seem all that wet. As she picked herself up she could see a long dark tunnel with a speck of blue light coming from the other end.

"Am I dead?" That was all she could think; this must've been Hell or at the very least some crummy purgatory. She walked toward the blue light, no clue where this was taking her but if it was close to the way out then she didn't care but she kept getting this weird sense like someone or something was watching her. She came to an open room. Seven stone thrones, six were empty, in the middle throne, an old man with a long beard sat wearing a red robe with a gold lightning bolt as an embalm on his chest. He had this large staff clutched in his hand, it must've rarely left it. He stood up once he saw her enter like he'd been expecting her.

"Needy Lesnicky."

Needy was taken aback by this guy knowing her name, now she was certain she was dead.

"Y-yes...How did you..."

"There is no time!"

She watched him as he hobbled over to her, sympathetic to his frail body, he banged his staff at every step, he could've keeled over at any moment.

"Sir?"

"I am the last of the Council of Wizards, keeper of the Rock of Eternity."

Needy was now hoping she could force herself awake from this fever dream, "Oh? Sorry I don't think that convention is for another couple weeks."

"Listen to me, girl! I do not have much time! I have searched far and wide for someone to pass my magic onto."

"M-Magic?" Needy couldn't comprehend this, maybe too much water in her ear, this was getting crazier by the second.

"You are all I have left Needy Lesnicky. You are the only one I could find pure of heart and worthy to carry this on."

"Me?"

"Grab my staff and say my name!"

"Uh...," the wizard stomped his staff onto the floor making a sound much louder than what it could produce, "OK! OK! But I don't even know your name!"

He waited for her to stop whining and shaking to say, "Shazam."

Needy knew she had to be being played here, "I'm sorry, what?"

"Say it!"

His voice made him ten feet taller, she grabbed the large piece of wood and cleared her throat without anymore backtalk, "Shazam?"

The staff vibrated in her hand, a flash of bright light, her whole body shook. She went blind for 3 seconds and when she regained her sight she noticed that the wizard dude shrunk. But it quickly donned on her. She grew! She looked down at her hands, they weren't as thin or weak as they used to be; her nail polish was even missing. She had on some tight red outfit. When she tried looking down she saw a lightning bolt like the wizard had on her chest which stuck out quite far.

"What? What did you do to me?" Even her voice sounded different. Her hair was long and straightened, her glasses were gone, she could see everything so much clearer. Was she wearing white boots and a matching cape? She spun around to try and make sense out of what happened. She faced the wizard again and he brought his staff down on the ground. Needy watched in horror as the old man turned to ash with only his robe falling in a pile next to the wooden staff. She screamed and was propelled out of the dark mystery cavern and back up to the falls.

Jennifer was home in bed, exhausted after a head trip of a night, after Needy helped her get a cab she could hardly remember anything , she was getting worried something might've happened, she was realizing how selfish she could be for the first time in her life. She heard a noise outside her bedroom window, a tapping, "Huh?" There was a sign pressed to the glass saying: "DON'T FREAK!" When the paper sign was taken away Jennifer saw a very beautiful blonde woman standing outside her window, "What the..."

"Jen it's me! Needy!"

"Needy? What?"

Jennifer had to go see for herself, she grabbed her flip flops and ran outside in her underwear. Needy stood behind a tree just in case someone else could see her going by on the old road. Jennifer was a lot more excited and not frightened to see what was going on here, her house was only ground level with no 2nd floor but still someone in the middle of the night claiming to be her BFF and wearing what looked like tight red spandex it just had to be good. She let out a loud gasp when she saw the 6 ft. something hero in a cape.

"Don't scream!" Needy said with her hands out.

"What in the...," a goofy grin was plastered onto Jennifer's face but then she got serious or at least in a Jennifer way, "Wait if you're really Needy then what's my favorite color?"

"Purple, duh!"

"Yeah, duh! Ok harder one...Something only we would know...," she thought carefully, pulling something embarrassing from the old memory bank, "In third grade you took the blame for something." Needy sighed, she didn't want to say it, "I'll call the cops I swear!"

"Fine! You stole money from Miss Glades' purse and I covered for you!"

"Aw!" Jennifer gushed, "Who's my Biff?" She held her arms out as far as they could stretch and hugged the big lady, she freaked when she felt how solid Needy was, it was enough to make her forget all about the fire and the band creeps, "Needy! What happened to you?"

"It's a long story."

"Your biceps are huge! Dude!"

"Don't call me dude!" Needy scoffed.

Jennifer squeezed her arm, Needy flexed it, showing her muscles off like a giant action figure, this was without a doubt Jennifer's dream come true; she felt up her stomach and washboard set of abs, "Gotta be like an 8 pack, right?" Needy tried to laugh.

"More like 12 pack, Needs! Oh my God!" She was delighted to continue looking and feeling her over, she looked behind her and smiled, "Whoa, party in the back!"

"Huh?"

"Look at that bubble butt!" Jennifer giggled, poking and flicking at it.

"Hey, don't touch my super butt!"

"Needy please you have to tell me what's going on!"

The night's events had got insane and she was ready to pass out, "I fell down the falls, I ended up underground and there was this wizard and he said he needed to pass on powers it was so weird it felt like Tim Burton's nightmare!"

"Do you have any powers?" No time to ask if she was ok or how she ended up falling down there to begin with.

"I don't know, Jen! I don't even know how to take off this costume! There's no zipper or anything, it's like it's attached to my body!"

Jennifer saw the big lightning bolt on her chest glow, "Whoa! May I?" She asked preparing to touch it, Needy let her to see if maybe there was something she hadn't noticed to get free of this thing. Electricity came out of the big yellow emblem and attached to the tips of Jennifer's fingers, she laughed as she felt the strong current hit her, even her hair was starting to stand on end.

"Needy this is amazing! This is like the best day ever!"

"I'm glad you're having fun I just want out of this," she looked down at the ground and sulked.

Jennifer gave her a little encouraging love tap in the arm, "Needs don't you know what this means? You're like the world's first superhero! You can help people! You can fight bad guys!"

"But I'm not a fighter. I don't like violence."

Jennifer frowned and folded her arms, "Well now that's too bad, Lesnicky, you don't just shut the door on your destiny!"

Needy groaned, "Can I stay here tonight? I'm tired and I really don't want my mom seeing me like this..."

Jennifer didn't need to be asked twice, she took Needy by the hand and led her inside, "We have a lot of work ahead of us. We need to figure out what powers you have, find some dudes for you to fight and most importantly think up a kick ass name."

"How about Power Girl?"

"You can't just take an existing name, silly. Maybe Red Titan or Crimson Slayer," Jennifer caught Needy scratching one of her extra large superhero boobs, "Or maybe even Boober-Ella!"

"Hey! I think it's the suit...my boobs feel really weird."

"I bet they look awesome under that! You are so lucky!"

Needy shrugged, admitting that having a giant cartoon rack might have some advantages, she felt herself up and squeezed the heavy melons she was smuggling with both hands, "I could get used to this." They had to be at least size E.

"Ok, Boob Titan let's get you to bed before we wake up my mom."

"That's not going to be my name either."

"We'll just see about that," Jennifer smirked, arm in arm taking her very own superhero best friend to bed.

To be continued! Later chapters will contain goofy and sexual moments involving Jennifer and Needy! Thanks for reading!
