The Year is 1067 BC.

Morgana's army is on the march, through woods and marshlands, never stopping never resting, like plague upon this land poisoning the earth. Mordred leading the way nothing could stop them, not even King Richard's army who were slaughtered in their thousands, villages raided, women and children cut down trying to flee their homes. King Godred knew the evil that was coming to his Kingdom, he knew the gigantic task he had to take...he knew this flourishing kingdom was going to die. Even with his best knights commanding his army, there was little that could be done, King Godred ordered all women and children to flee to the woods in the South. Mordred's army appeared over the hill overlooking Ulfstead Castle, gesturing an order he used his Trebuchet's to pummel the outer walls with balls of molten fire, sorcery which Morgana used to pack an extra punch. those who were hit with the lava balls from Hell died a slow painful death in front of their comrades, screams could be heard throughout the walls as one was finally breeched crumbling to the ground, Ulfstead Castle took a hammering. This wasn't over...this was only the beginning, Mordred's army storms the outer sanctum killing soldiers left and right.

From his balcony King Godred watched the terror unfold before him, too shocked to utter a word, screams echoed from below. The throne room doors creaked open, snapping the king out of his fearful trance it was his wife Queen Bellemere, a frantic face of worry met his Hazelnut eyes "my love...they've breeched the outer walls, Morgana's army are swarming the outer sanctum! I fear we are no longer safe here!" Bellemere embraces Godred with a hug, "yes I have seen with my own eyes" holding his trembling wife "everything we have built..." his soft words were interrupted when his band of knights, his friends came flying into the throne room, one of them stepped forward bowing "Your highness! they've breeched the inner sanctum, there is not much time!" the King's childhood friend Jarl Ogmund urged! at that time a woman enters the throne room, it wasn't Morgana, this one had a light about her, she was the Court's sorcerer. "Lady Enchantress...tell me what are thy options?" urges the King. Lady unveils her hooded cloak, frown evidentially across her face, Godred and the Lady shared a look, one of which they both knew there was only one option, parting her cloak she gave her Book to Bellemere. "yes you are right Lady, Morgana wants the book!" the King stated taking on a more serious morbid tone. "I shall stay, go now I'll hold them off!" his trusted knights looked at their king as if he'd gone mad! " YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS?!" Sir Thrax Oxenhime yelled "You'll be slaughtered on tee spot!" yelped Doug McIntosh holding onto his twin brother Daniel McIntosh. "We will not let you stand alone!" boomed a deep voice from the back, which happened to be Sir George Oakenshield. A tall knight standing around 6ft! "It'll stain our honour, leaving you to face such evil" Sir Vinyard Peterson spoke up the shortest of all knights. he maybe shortened by Hight but he wasn't no child, he was mighty in heart, they all were loyal to the Crown. Godred knew they'd protest his decision, he was thankful for his loyal friends but there was little time to argue! Mordred's trebuchets had been wheeled forward. Now hitting the tower on the left side of the Castle holding up the throne room! It was hard to stand on their feet the room shook under them, balls of fire hitting sounded like thunder, Bellemere shaking in her husband's arms. "WE HAVE NO CHOICE!" Godred roared, he reached up and took off his Crown giving it and the Book to Sir George Oakenshield "GO NOW, take the Book far away from here! it's our only chance!" not letting any of his Knights get a word in edgeways, he turns the Lady Enchantress "make sure you hide the crown well, enchant the book if you must! only a descendant of my bloodline can find it!" the King requested, before turning to his wife. "You must leave me my beloved, if they come here they will surly kill you!" Godred pleaded with his wife "NO! I WILL NOT LEAVE YOU!" Queen Bellemere had been stubborn all her life, but now was not the time. "my knights...my friends...take her with you, I will not let her be slain by that evil witch!" he spat angrily. Bellemere protested as Sir Thrax and Sir McIntosh gently grabbed her, his twin Daniel not far behind them. "Sir Jarl! a word before they enter the main doors, I trust you old friend for but one favour" Sir Jarl leans in to listen closely "I trust thee...look after my wife, promise me no harm will become my Queen, my immortal Dove" Godred spoke sternly. Sir Jarl Ogmund stared at his King in disbelief the amount of trust weighting on his shoulders. Sir Jarl bowed his head "of course my King...I will protect Queen Bellemere with my life!" he declared, holding his best friend's hand sharing one last look at his beloved King...he let go running out the back secret entrance. "GOD SPEED!" the King yells back at the group escaping Ulfstead Castle through the sewers attached to the Dungeons.

Meanwhile back in the Castle the army of evil stood around menacingly as if waiting for something while King Godred laid sprawled on the cold stone floor. *clink, clink, click* could be heard coming closer and closer, the foot soldiers cackled evilly amongst themselves, soon the answer to the clinking appeared...The Black Knight! He stood there silent and deadly as always, observing the former King laying on the floor, with all his strength Godred managed to get up using a pillar for balance. "Tell me Black Knight" he began speaking winded "how come you will not speak?...why won't you utter a word, or gloat of my defeat hhmm?" he demanded showing no fear. the Black Knight's armour merely creeks when he moved an inch, he raised his sword...Godred tried to counter act but in his weakened state it was fruitless, *CLANG* clash of swords echoed through the Halls, Godred tried to keep the Black Knight at bay by weaving in & around the pillars holding up the remaining innards on the Castle. The Black Knight caught up with him, missing by an inch as Godred threw himself onto his own throne! The scene was set, Godred dying on his own throne. "Be...*gasps*..before I die...grant me *groans* one last...request" the Black Knight just stood there, allowing the king that much dignity "take off...uuhh...your helmet...knight of the o..old code" hesitant to grant the King's request, but slowly put his sword down, knelt back up & what felt like eternity...took his helmet off. The King's wise old eyes grew large "it...cannot...be!" he gasped in utter despair & sorrow. The Black Knight had turned out to be his brother, his own flesh and blood. Guilt laced the Black Knight's eyes upon seeing his brother at deaths door, the throne room feel silent as the two stared at each other, the King's gaze of shock softened wishing to hear out his baby brother. "why...Johnathan?" he asked gasping for air. "my vision was clouded by greed...I was weak to Morgana's evil Succubus spell" he began Guilt and sorrow tearing away at his soul, or what's left of it. "I woke up to her treachery, but it was too late...I was deep under her control...I still am" sadly admitted lowering his head in shame, Godred took pity on his brother, he knows all too well the manipulation Morgana was capable of. "all I seek...is forgiveness...brother" Johnathan piped up still bowing his head, exhausted Godred somehow found himself leaning forward placing a hand atop his brother's head, signalling he was forgiven. "I..for..forgive you already...Johnny boy" smirks knowing he hated that fond nickname. "heh...even in a time of darkness, you always knew how to annoy me" Johnathan lifted his head up staring into his brothers eyes, sharing one last moment together. Godred groaned leaning back into his throne in agony John knew his time was near "J..Johnathan...I have one...final re..request" John leaned down wanting to help "Yes! anything brother!" signs deeply "you are going to kill me...that much is..true...Morgana wants...the book...you must...end this war!" grunts struggling to speak "d..do it! quickly...she'll n...never find the book!" John struggled within himself "NO! I just made up with you for my stupid mistakes, we can escape! through the tunnels?" he did not want to kill his own brother "no John, it cannot be done, Morgana & her son Mordred will hunt us down! she...will...stop...at...NOTHING!" Godred tried reasoning with his brother but if it meant saving what's left of Ulfstead Castle. "GGRR...so be it brother...LONG LIVE THE KING!" he roars lifting his mighty blade! he was about to strike...*STAB* John stood there...not moving...not an inch. "NNOO!" Godred screams at the sight before him, his brother was stabbed from behind the bastard who did the dirty deed was Mordred! "YOU BASTARD!" Godred roared finding strength within himself to stand up from his throne, squaring up to the heathen. "Well, well, well there's still some life left in the old goat" Mordred sneers at the crooked king standing before him, "you...will pay for this..." Mordred simply laughed in response. "no I don't think so...now tell me...where is the book old man!" taking a swing at Godred who had adrenaline pumping through his haggard vanes, "You'll never find that book, your time upon this earth is about to end!" he roars fighting back much to Mordred surprise. "You...will...tell me...former king!" Mordred spat gaining ground as the king was losing blood rapidly, "I shall take a wild guess...your Wife the wench took the book with your witch of the court?" he guessed in a mocking tone Godred froze mid slash in utter shock, how did he get that...HOW? "HAHA! so I am right...you are easier to read then that infernal book my mother keeps nagging about!" Mordred kicked the King against the wall "AAAHHKK!" he cried out in pain. Mordred cackled an evil laugh stalking the King like a the devil's guard dog, but Godred wasn't done yet! with the last of his strength he can muster, he blocked Mordred's attack grabbed ahold of his waist bear hugging him. "If this is what it...takes!" dragging himself & Mordred towards the hole of the throne room left side tower blown by Morgana's fire balls earlier, Mordred in disparate attempts to get Godred to release him was futile. "NO! LET GO YOU FATHERLESS BASTARD!" Mordred screeches. "If it means...this land and its...UH...people will...s..survive" both men scrapping at the edge of the hole overlooking the cliffs, fog covering the scene below. "this is for you...my love...be safe...Lady Enchantress" King Godred whispers a tear falls down his cheek, while Mordred screaming amongst the carnage in the court yard.

Godred pulled Mordred over the edge...both men fell, falling to their doom, the King knew he'd be reunited with his brother in Heaven, while Mordred screamed blood curdling Mary all the way down while Godred made peace with his God...Both men disappeared beyond the foggy rocks below...never to be seen again, at least for Godred's sake his wife, the crown Jewells Lady & the Book would be undiscovered for 1,000 years...
